There are in excess of 60,000 types of trees on the planet, all as ridiculously unique and remarkable as people. Tragically, the most magnificent ones to appreciate are similar ones undermined by deforestation, horticultural extension, and a steadily evolving environment. Of the 20,000-some tree species remembered by the Worldwide Association for Preservation of Nature's Red Rundown, more than 8,000 are fundamentally imperiled, jeopardized, or defenseless against annihilation.
From Madagascar's glorious Grandidier's baobab to a Brazilian conifer formed like (and named after) a great candlestick, the following are six weird trees that are either helpless or jeopardized.
