Route preparations for Badrinath Yatra are in full swing ahead of the opening of the portals. The Yatra will start from April 27. Giving details, Chamoli District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana said that several master plans are currently underway for the Yatra.
He said, “The temple will open on April 27. Several master plans are underway. Some changes have also been made in the routes which were used earlier. The Nagar Panchayat is building a new diversion. This will be operational by April 20. All the departments have been ordered to complete their arrangements before the Yatra starts.”
