A granddad looking after his granddaughter surprised her mum with adorable photos after organising - a DIY photoshoot with matching outfits.
Tom Wilkinson, 56, surprised his daughter Lizzie Oliver with pictures of nine-month-old Teagan taken during an Easter-themed photoshoot.
Tom organised the shoot from scratch with the help of his fiancé, who came up with the idea when looking for Easter outfits for kids.
Tom, from Akron, Ohio, USA, said: "My fiancé and I were gathering items for the baby's Easter basket such as outfits, bunny ears, her first bathing suit, and shoes.
"She came up with a great idea to buy some photography lights and a black backdrop and have a surprise photo shoot with the baby and me and surprises Lizzie for Easter!"
Tom, a business owner, even bought matching outfits that he and Teagan wore during the shoot.
The photoshoot only took 15 minutes to set up and another 15 minutes to take the photos.
To maintain the surprise, David had to dismantle the set-up and dress Teagan in her regular clothes as Lizzie returned home for lunch.
When she left, they got back to work on a swimming-themed shoot.
The couple also had to buy a gigantic jar of M&Ms and shake it like a musical instrument to focus Teagan's attention.
Tom said: "Teagan was trying to eat the Easter eggs. We held her attention pretty well.
"I remember what it felt like when my children were young and we would take them to the picture place.
"We would constantly be trying to get them to smile behind the photographer!"
Daughter Lizzie, 27, who works as a nurse, came home to a whopping 72 pictures of her daughter and dad together, including an 8x10 framed picture.
Tony added: "I felt really good after she opened up the frame and saw all the pictures and I told her the story.
"She just kept saying 'oh my gosh oh my gosh.' That is so beautiful how did you do that? How did you do that without me knowing? How did you do that?
"She was in total disbelief that we pulled a photoshoot off without her having a clue!
"It was totally worth it after seeing my daughter's reaction, I’m sure it’s something that she will never forget and when the baby grows up it will be a story that she will be told as well."
