00:00 Hello Disney Car Toys here and today I'm going to show you how to make a Superman Lightning McQueen using Play-Doh.
00:05 To make the Superman McQueen all you'll need is three cans of Play-Doh, a Play-Doh knife, a roller, and a car.
00:11 Now the first thing that we're going to do is roll out some yellow Play-Doh so that we can make the Superman emblem.
00:17 We're going to put the Superman emblem over the Dinoco symbol on Lightning McQueen's hood.
00:22 And that symbol is about the size of my thumb so I'll use my thumb to measure the size of the emblem that we need to cut out.
00:29 Now to cut it, it's kind of shaped like a gem.
00:32 So we'll cut a straight line and then we'll cut two curved lines and then two more angled lines that make a point at the bottom.
00:40 Now that we have a cut, we'll just rip away the extra Play-Doh.
00:45 Now the Superman emblem is two layers so we're going to roll out some red Play-Doh for the back layer.
00:51 The second layer of the emblem is going to be pretty easy to make because we'll trace the yellow emblem that we already made
00:58 and we'll make the red just slightly larger because it's going to be the layer in the back.
01:03 So cut around the yellow emblem but just make it slightly larger.
01:08 The last step for making the emblem is of course the S on top.
01:14 I just rolled out some red Play-Doh with my fingertips.
01:17 And I'm going to just form it out to make an S. I made it a little long so I'll just pinch off the extra Play-Doh.
01:23 And now we have the Superman symbol.
01:25 We're going to put the Superman emblem right on late in McQueen's hood to cover up the Dinoco logo.
01:31 See, he's already starting to look a little more like Superman.
01:35 Next I'm going to roll out some black Play-Doh in my fingertips to make his hair.
01:40 Now Superman has some really sleek, sleek back hair.
01:44 So what I'm going to do is I'm going to fold the rolled out Play-Doh that I already made and I'm going to just fold it back and forth.
01:51 Kind of like an accordion.
01:52 And I'm going to make two pieces of hair so it looks like he has a part in his hair.
01:57 So here's the left side.
01:59 And we'll just push that down on top of late in McQueen's roof.
02:03 But we'll make sure to make room for hair on the right side.
02:07 Now here I rolled out another piece of black Play-Doh.
02:12 And I'm going to fold it back and forth like an accordion again.
02:15 And this will be for the right side of his hair.
02:18 And try to make it even.
02:20 Now that we're finished folding up that hair we can place it on the right side of his roof.
02:26 And now it looks like he's got a part in his hair and very sleek, greased back hair.
02:32 Next we will make Superman's most defining feature, his cape.
02:37 By rolling out some red Play-Doh.
02:39 And we'll measure the width of the cape just by using the late in McQueen die cast as my guide.
02:45 I will cut a half circle into the top of the cape so that there's room for late in McQueen's hair.
02:52 And then also so that we can have straps for the cape.
02:56 Next I will cut a waving line in the back of the cape just to make the cape look like it's flowing in the wind.
03:03 Ok we're almost done, but we're missing something.
03:08 We're missing the Superman emblem on his cape.
03:11 I just made another Superman emblem and we'll attach that to the back of his cape.
03:17 See and now late in McQueen is a true superhero.
03:23 He looks just like Superman.
03:26 It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a car, no it's a super car.
