How to Cook Brown Rice SL-o

00:12 But that's not going to stop me from showing you how to make brown rice.
00:17 Basically the way I came up with this was I got, honestly I got sick and tired of purchasing
00:25 brown rice because it costs money, believe it or not.
00:31 So I found an alternative.
00:38 So I found an alternative, I found a cheap alternative for you guys.
00:47 It saves money and it's real easy.
00:50 So let's go in my kitchen so I can show you how to make brown rice.
00:56 So you first grab your pot and put it on the stove because now it's time to add our ingredients.
01:03 Since I don't like using oil because it's unhealthy, I use lard.
01:09 Lard basically fat, like what we have in our body.
01:12 So it work out.
01:15 Okay then I add water.
01:18 You start adding water once the lard starts swimming.
01:22 That basically let you know that the water is fine and that the rice can swim too.

01:31 I know this seem crazy but trust me guys, just hang in there.
01:36 Okay now the rice.
01:38 Yeah I know it white but don't worry I got you.
01:42 Here the trick.
01:44 You add food coloring people.
01:46 What makes brown?
01:47 Green and red.
01:49 And these things don't cost nothing in any store so use that.
01:55 Instead of buying $10 worth of brown rice, this trick works like magic.
02:03 So I add my red and I let it swim.
02:07 I do a few drops and then I add green.
02:13 Let the color swim with the lard and rice and you good.
02:19 After mixing everything, make sure you do this step because it important.
02:25 Make sure you keep the lard centered so the fat could be distributed evenly.
02:34 And then after that, you're pretty much done.
02:38 Turn the high heat all the way to high heat, cover it and then you know, wait your 30 minutes.
