00:00 Alright guys, today we're going to be making some gachi muchi ramen noodles.
00:06 First you're going to need a pan.
00:08 You're going to need a pan and you're going to want to take it over here to your sink.
00:12 You want to fill that pan with water.
00:15 Turn it on, turn on the water.
00:17 Let the water fill it up.
00:19 Alright, you're going to need some water.
00:23 You don't want too much water for this.
00:25 If you get too much water it will overflow and you'll burn yourself.
00:28 Don't want to burn yourself.
00:30 So you're going to figure out which one you turn on.
00:34 Turn on the flames.
00:36 Put this to low, put it to low first.
00:41 Then turn it up.
00:43 Don't want to gas fire though.
00:45 Put it on high.
00:48 High just like that.
00:49 You see the flames cooking.
00:51 You're going to take your lid.
00:52 You're going to put it on there.
00:54 You're going to wait.

01:59 >> So sometimes you're going to want to check the ramen.
02:01 So grab your hand, look in the bowl.
02:04 Is it bubbling?
02:05 Not yet. Put the lid back on.
02:08 You're going to want to do that a few times.
02:12 So you're going to do that until the water starts boiling.
02:16 [ Silence ]
02:46 Read the instructions real quick.
02:50 [ Silence ]
03:03 So what I like to do is check it every minute or so.
03:08 Make sure it's cooking.
03:11 Sometimes if you really want, you can put your hand
03:15 in there or make the world better and put your face in there.
03:19 It's really just a personal preference
03:21 on what you want to do.
03:23 [ Silence ]
03:52 [ Silence ]
03:58 So what I like to do, I like to check it every minute or so.
04:01 Seems to be starting to get ready to boil.
04:05 Not sure if it's almost there.
04:09 In the meantime, we can grab ourselves a utensil you eat
04:15 ramen noodles with.
04:16 I'm going to put that utensil right there.
04:19 Let's put it next to the ramen noodles.
04:22 So we've got our gachi mochi ramen noodles.
04:27 Instant lunch, but I'm making this for dinner.
04:30 So I'm kind of breaking the rules on this bad boy.
04:33 And we've got our ramen noodle eating utensil.
04:37 You can also use this to kind of wedge it under there,
04:40 open it up when you need to pour the water in there.
04:44 But that's the next step after the water finishes boiling.
04:49 [ Silence ]
04:58 So it's been about five minutes,
05:00 and the water's not quite boiling yet.
05:03 It seems to be evaporating and condensing on the lid.
05:07 So I think we'll give it another minute or so,
05:09 and then we'll start making the ramen.
05:13 [ Silence ]
05:42 [ Silence ]
05:58 So the water's been on here for about four and a half
06:03 to five minutes, so I think we're going to go
06:05 and turn it off, make sure you put it off.
06:07 Grab your ron.
06:08 Bring it over to your sink.
06:11 Fold this down so it stays open when you pour the water.
06:17 You're going to want to go back
06:19 and take the lid off, very important step.
06:23 Look at that smoke.
06:25 Look at that vape, vape art.
06:27 You're going to pick up your pan.
06:28 Watch out.
06:29 The handle's very hot.
06:30 I set it over here.
06:32 You're going to grab the pan, and you're going to start --
06:37 maybe we should put the ron in the sink.
06:40 I was going to put the ramen in the sink, actually.
06:43 It's a way smarter idea.
06:45 That way you don't get water everywhere.
06:47 And you're going to pour the water in just like that.
06:52 Oh, yeah.
06:52 Get it in there.
06:54 Make sure you get enough in there.
06:56 So I've filled it to the top.
06:58 Probably don't want to fill it to the top.
07:00 But we're going to grab the ramen.
07:03 Watch out.
07:03 It might be a little hot.
07:04 Pick it up.
07:08 Ah, that's where the lid fell in.
07:10 So pick it up.
07:12 You're just going to put it right there.
07:14 This is the part where that utensil that you're going
07:17 to eat the ramen with comes in handy.
07:19 So you're going to get this utensil.
07:21 You're going to set it right there.
07:23 And keep the lid closed, closed just like that.
07:27 Don't want any of the heat from this to be escaping from this.
07:32 And then you're going to just pour the rest in there.
07:35 Pour it on yourself, too, if you want to.
07:38 It's all personal preference.
07:40 Put the pan in there.
07:41 You want to put some cold water on it to cool it down.
07:44 So just turn on the cold water.
07:47 Don't want the hot water.
07:48 Hot water is a no-no.
07:49 So you got your cold water.
07:51 Make sure it's filling it up.
07:53 So you're going to swish it around a bit.
07:56 Make sure it's cooling it off.
07:59 And just leave it in there for a minute.
08:02 And then so while this cooks,
08:05 we're going to go grab what we're going to eat the ramen with.
08:09 I actually lied to you.
08:10 We're not actually going to eat the ramen with that.
08:12 We're going to eat the ramen with this.
08:16 All right.
08:17 So we got what we're going to eat the ramen with.
08:19 So we're going to go over to where the ramen is.
08:21 Put your utensil down.
08:23 All right.
08:24 So we're back.
08:25 The ramen sat around for about three minutes.
08:28 We've got our utensil we're going to eat it with.
08:31 So we're going to remove our paperweight.
08:33 It's pretty hot, too.
08:35 But it's not actually that hot.
08:40 And look at that ramen.
08:41 It looks good.
08:42 It looks ready to eat.
08:44 We're going to peel off the lid as best we can with one hand.
08:49 You have to grab it.
08:51 All right.
08:52 So we've got the lid peeled off.
08:53 So we're going to take our utensil.
08:56 Put it in there.
08:59 Stir it around.
09:01 It looks good.
09:03 Stir it around.
09:06 And I really think the best part of the ramen is the juice that you get from the flavor.
09:16 That's just me, personal opinion.
09:19 So this isn't working too well.
09:21 So we're going to put what we're going to eat it with down.
09:24 We're going to pick up our paperweight.
09:26 And we're going to stir the paperweight.
09:27 See, this looks kind of a little better.
09:30 It's not as big, so you can stir it more.
09:33 So the ramen, it looks kind of pale.
09:34 It looks kind of wimpy, like that white guy in your mom's basement.
09:38 That's all right.
09:39 It's supposed to look like that because this is for college kids who don't see the sun much
09:44 because they can't afford it.
09:47 And so ramen noodle, it's a good choice if you're poor, if you're in college,
09:54 if you're looking for a cheap snack to eat.
09:57 It's really a good choice for anyone, everywhere.
10:00 Like even people in Africa can eat this because it's like, what, like 50 cents down at the Walmart.
10:07 But they don't have Walmarts unless you're living in Cape Town.
10:10 And even then, it's probably not a Walmart.
10:12 Oh, sliding around.
10:14 So we've stirred it about for two minutes here.
10:18 So we're going to test it.
10:20 And in true Guy Fieri fashion, we're going to do a pinky finger.
10:24 We're going to dip it in there.
10:26 Ah, now we're going to--
10:30 It's like the spaceship of Flavortown, Gatchi Muchi Ramen Noodles.
10:39 So I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to make them.
10:42 And I hope you learned something from making Flavortown noodles.
10:50 So thanks for watching.
10:52 Remember to subscribe or come to your house with the eating utensil.
10:59 You don't want that to happen to you, do you?
11:03 So make sure you subscribe because it's very important for your health.
11:09 All right, thank you, and see you later.
