00:00 11. Wild Dogs
00:04 Wild dogs are normally brave hunters, but these dogs here were on the receiving end
00:09 in this encounter. They roamed a bit too close to a lion and we see a dead wild dog in the
00:15 jaws of one. This lion even decides to go for seconds and chases a scared dog away into
00:22 the bushes. This hyena is surrounded by a pack of nippy wild dogs. It looks like the
00:28 wild dogs have the advantage, but the hyena eventually calls for backup. When a second
00:33 one arrives, the wild dogs are instantly scared away. These wild dogs found an easy catch,
00:40 or so they thought. An impala comes hopping along when suddenly this pack of wild dogs
00:46 starts chasing it. The impala is scared but tries to remain calm as it dodges all of the
00:52 dogs on land, then jumps into the water and starts swimming. The wild dogs can do nothing
00:58 more than watch on as the meal they hoped for swims away.
01:03 10. Pumas
01:05 This puma decided to tempt a lynx in the wild. The two are fighting over some food, and that
01:12 obviously is not going to end well. The lynx, which is much smaller, snarls and intimidates
01:17 the puma. It even paws at the puma. The puma realizes it isn't going to be a good fight,
01:24 and the lynx leaves calmly. This puma is chasing a guanaco, which looks like an easy kill.
01:31 But as the puma jumps on it for the attack, the guanaco shakes it right off, injuring
01:36 the puma in the process. The fight is short and the puma gives up, now sporting a large
01:42 gash on its body.
01:44 9. Petrel
01:46 This group of baby penguins were walking across the snow when a deadly petrel bird spots them.
01:53 One of the babies puffs up and stands guard. The bird gives up, knowing this penguin will
01:58 fight. This petrel attacks a penguin on the shore and is surely ready to eat it. But wait!
02:04 A second penguin comes in to rescue the other penguin. They fight until the bird gives up
02:09 and retreats in fear.
02:11 8. Leopard
02:13 In this clip, we see what looks like a successful kill. What is unique to this prey is that
02:19 it'll kill the predator after it dies. The leopard is eating this porcupine, or at least
02:25 attempting to. The harmful quills poke and injure the leopard, who is still eating. The
02:31 cuts are breeding grounds for deadly bacteria, and eventually the leopard succumbs to the
02:36 injuries from its own meal.
02:38 Here is another leopard and porcupine battle. The word "battle" is used lightly, because
02:43 the porcupine doesn't have to do much to win this one. The leopard approaches the porcupine
02:49 and gets jabbed with its quills. The leopard tries to clean its facial wounds quickly,
02:54 understanding that this isn't worth the fight, and walks off.
02:58 A leopard is seen here attempting to fight a python. The python hisses and fights right
03:03 back. We see the leopard attack, but then it falls over and has to jump back. Eventually,
03:10 it gives up the fight.
03:12 7. Crocodiles
03:14 It's no secret that crocodiles are strong creatures, but they can't always win battles.
03:21 This crocodile messed with the wrong pool of hippos when it decided to jump into the
03:25 waters where they were grouped up. The crocodile attempts to make it through them, but the
03:30 hippos attack and take down the crocodile. The crocodile wasn't able to fight back
03:36 and eventually lost.
03:38 This crocodile encountered a few lions. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue for the crocodile,
03:44 but one of the lions was a little more vicious than usual and provoked the crocodile. The
03:49 two animals scuffled back and forth until the crocodile eventually grew too scared and
03:54 hurried away from the fight.
03:57 In this clip, the crocodile's cousin, a caiman, is seen calmly lounging around. What
04:02 it doesn't know is that a jaguar has spotted it and is now stalking it. The jaguar uses
04:09 its cat-like agility to sneak through the water and eventually pounce on the unsuspecting
04:14 caiman. It sinks its teeth straight into its skull, with no time for the caiman to fight
04:19 back.
04:21 6. Eagles
04:23 Eagles are definitely a majestic bird. Here, we see one soaring through the skies over
04:29 some onlookers. It circles around something, perhaps some prey. It swoops and later on,
04:35 we see just what it was going for, a wolf. We see that the wolf wasn't going to lose
04:40 this fight, and the bystanders had to pry the eagle's talons out of the angry wolf's
04:45 snarling teeth. This vulture spots an eagle trying to eat a dead carcass the vulture was
04:51 already previously chowing down on. The vulture wasn't too pleased with this and decided
04:56 to fight the mighty eagle. The eagle didn't stand a chance once the vulture spread its
05:01 huge wings. The eagle steps back, intimidated, then gets stomped on by the vulture. The vulture
05:07 scares the eagle away and enjoys its meal.
05:11 5. Baboons
05:14 Baboons are brave, as seen in this clip. A group of baboons tease a crocodile in the
05:19 nearby waters. One small baboon ends up falling into the waters below. The crocodile decides
05:25 to teach this group a lesson and snatches one of them up. The baboons can only look
05:29 on in horror as the crocodile chews the baboon up into nothing. This lion has spotted something
05:36 tasty, a group of baboons. It silently stalks them until it is time to pounce. We then see
05:43 it has caught one in its mouth. This meal was meant to be shared as the lion brings
05:48 the dead baboon over to the rest of the lions.
05:52 4. Snakes
06:01 This snake is trying to attack this squirrel that keeps bothering it. But the squirrel
06:06 is not scared one bit. It fights right back and eventually gets a good bite in. The snake
06:12 struggles in pain but eventually dies from this squirrel's merciless attack.
06:18 This cobra is faced with a mongoose. The mongoose sneaks over to the scared snake and scopes
06:24 it out. The snake tries to fight, but the mongoose grips it in its mouth and violently
06:29 shakes it. The snake obviously ends up dead. This giant centipede is wrapped around a snake
06:35 in a way that prevents the snake from fighting for its own life. The giant centipede is easily
06:41 able to take over and eventually kill this snake.
06:45 3. Lions
06:47 This lion has been caught amidst a pack of hyenas. The lion looks around, clearly scared.
06:53 The lion cannot make a move because he is very much outnumbered. The only way out is
06:58 when a second lion comes by to scare away the hyenas.
07:10 In this clip, a zebra has fought back against a lion and pinned it to the ground. The zebra
07:17 fights its way out of the lion's grip. It eventually loses the lion and gives it a few
07:22 hard stomps for good measure.
07:24 These lions came to drink at the wrong waterhole because it's already the territory of a temperamental
07:30 turtle. This turtle approaches the thirsty lions and scares them. Look as these cats
07:36 cautiously avoid this angry turtle.
07:43 2. Dogs
07:51 Here we see a dog angrily provoking a kangaroo standing in a body of water. The kangaroo
07:58 stands tall, ready to take whatever fight this dog can give. The dog comes closer and
08:03 the kangaroo grabs it. The kangaroo dunks the dog underwater for a while before releasing
08:09 it. The dog eventually gives up and walks away barking.
08:13 These dogs are fighting with a lizard. The small dog seems to be the angriest and attempts
08:18 to attack the reptile. The lizard fights back and injures the small dog, eventually scaring
08:23 them away.
08:25 1. Lizards
08:34 These dogs are aggressively trying to attack a lizard. The lizard tries to scurry away
08:39 but the dogs bite and pull at its tail. They eventually get bored but the lizard is now
08:44 critically injured. This lizard is stuck. A cobra is wrapped around it and it doesn't
08:51 want to come off. It bites at the lizard then eventually lets it free, but not without violently
08:57 hissing at it first.
08:59 This dog is enjoying chomping on this baby lizard. The dragon appears to possibly still
09:04 be alive as the dog bites at it. The dog takes slow and deliberate bites, savoring the yummy
09:10 snack.
