Microsoft ($MSFT@US) is opening up its revamped Bing search engine to all Microsoft account holders, eliminating the waiting list that has been in place for the past three months. The new Bing features a chatbot powered by OpenAI's GPT-4 artificial intelligence model, similar to OpenAI's viral ChatGPT bot. Microsoft aims to challenge Google's ($GOOGL@US) dominance in search advertising with Bing, and for every percentage point of share it gains, its revenue will increase by $2 billion. Microsoft is also adding more capabilities to Bing, including a way to return to previous chat conversations and integrations to third-party services such as OpenTable and Wolfram Alpha.
