00:03 Begin the look by applying an eyeshadow primer
00:18 all over the lid, then patting in with your finger,
00:20 blending in really well, and making
00:22 sure to take any excess on your fingertip
00:24 under the lower lash line.
00:26 Taking a soft curl black eyeliner, trace the upper lash
00:29 line quite messily, and you can make it quite thick,
00:33 also making sure to get right in between the eyelashes as well.
00:37 And then at this stage, I'm going to lift my eyelashes
00:39 and also tightline my waterline by applying the black eye
00:44 pencil so it just hides any gaps that
00:46 might show when the eye is open.
00:48 Then taking a synthetic fluffy blending brush,
00:51 we're going to buff out that black eyeliner,
00:53 and it's basically going to create
00:55 like a base for the other colors to sort of adhere to.
00:57 And it's really going to make the look quite dark
01:00 and intense, which is what we want.
01:01 Taking a baby wipe, I'm going to show you a really cool trick
01:04 to help elongate and keep the shape of your eyeshadows
01:07 so that they're lifting the eye.
01:08 So what I do is take a baby wipe,
01:10 and I place it on the corner of my nose
01:13 to the corner of my eyebrow.
01:15 So as you can see, and then I wipe away any excess.
01:18 This also helps me to build my shape of my eyeshadow,
01:21 particularly when I want it to elongate my eye.
01:23 Taking a matte navy eyeshadow, I'm
01:25 going to pack this all over the black eyeliner
01:27 we just smudged out, making sure to blend it really well,
01:30 and also continuing creating that winged out shape.
01:33 Taking a clean blending brush, I'm just
01:35 running this through the crease.
01:37 To help the gradient fade even further,
01:39 I'm taking a medium matte brown shadow and that same blending
01:42 brush and just sweeping it just above the blue
01:45 just to help the two transition together.
01:47 Then with a fluffy blending brush, apply your highlight.
01:50 Smaller detail brush, apply the same matte navy blue eyeshadow
01:54 to the lower lash line, taking it from the outer corner
01:57 all the way in and really smoking it out.
02:00 Taking the same black soft cool eyeliner,
02:02 I'm going to apply this to the inner rim of the eye as well.
02:05 Next, taking a shimmery gold pigment,
02:07 I'm going to apply this to the inner corners of my eyes
02:09 to really brighten up that area.
02:11 Using a mixing medium or glitter fix, apply to the fingertip.
02:15 And then with that fingertip, apply
02:16 to the inner half of the eyelid, making
02:18 sure to keep your eye closed.
02:20 Then grabbing a gold pigment of choice,
02:23 I'm going to pat the top of the lid
02:25 because I find I get most excess product from here.
02:28 And then I'm going to pat it just directly on top
02:30 of where we placed the glitter fix
02:33 and blend it in really, really well.
02:35 With a clean blending brush, then you
02:37 can soften out the edges on the outer corner.
02:40 Then with a baby wipe, definitely cleaning up any fallout.
02:43 And again with a clean blending brush
02:44 if you want to soften any edges.
02:45 Curl your lashes and then apply a couple
02:47 of coats of your favorite mascara.
02:49 Then I'm going to comb through the lashes
02:51 with a mascara metal wand comb.
02:54 And this is going to get rid of any clumps.
02:56 Now to define the brows, I'm taking a medium taupe color
02:59 and an angle brush.
03:00 And I'm just going to sweep this gently through the brows,
03:02 just building up shape and consistency
03:04 where I feel I need it.

03:09 Next, just to add some bronzer to the top of the cheekbones
03:17 and under the jawline for a bit of definition.
03:19 Then I'm going to apply a soft peachy pink
03:21 blush to the apples of the cheeks
03:23 and sweep it back towards the cheekbones.
03:26 Then using a clean powder brush, I'm
03:27 just going to blend that all together.
03:29 Taking a shimmery gold highlighting cream,
03:31 I'm going to apply this to my fingertips
03:33 and then place directly on the top of the cheekbones.
03:36 Then completing the look with a bit of a lip gloss.
03:39 Nothing too intense because you don't
03:40 want to compete for attention, but a nice sort
03:42 of pearlescent shade.
