00:00 Hi everyone and welcome back.
00:05 Thank you so much for joining me again.
00:07 This is a smoky eye tutorial using some color.
00:11 It's a fun look for a night out, so let's begin.
00:13 First I'm moisturizing my face using Daily Moisture by SkinCeuticals and moving on to
00:19 my eye primer by Urban Decay called Potion.
00:23 Since this is a smoky eye, I'm starting with my eyes first.
00:27 Using this brand new palette by the Balm Cosmetics, I'm starting with C1 which is a beautiful
00:32 ivory color with a hint of shimmer to it.
00:34 I'm going to highlight my brow bone and the inner corners of my eyes using this color.
00:40 My next color is B2 which is this beautiful blue color.
00:44 Again I'm starting from the inner corners of my eyes, but this time I'm working it to
00:48 the center of my lids.
00:54 C4 is next and it's this reddish brown color and it's going to play as a transitional color.
01:00 So I'm going to apply this with a fluffy brush just on my crease and blend it really well.
01:07 Alright on to the main color of this look which is C2.
01:11 This is a relatively dark color so you want to be careful when working with this color
01:15 and try to stay closer to your lids.
01:18 Now once you've got the color on, you want to grab this fluffy brush and sort of blend
01:22 it into your crease and into the rest of the colors.
01:26 Again working from the outer corners of your eyes and then patting the color on and blending
01:30 at the same time.
01:38 You also want to blend this color on your bottom lash line so use a pencil brush like
01:42 this one and again using C2, start from the outer corners of your eyes and blend it into
01:47 the inner corners of your eyes.
01:51 Next I'm using Urban Decay's Ultra Violet pencil.
01:54 This is the 24/7 line on eye pencil and I am lining my inner rim of my eyes.
01:58 This is really going to add to this look because it's a gorgeous blue.
02:03 Alright we're almost done with this look.
02:05 Just clean all the fallouts using a makeup remover wipe and then just curl your lashes
02:11 using your favorite curler.
02:12 Here I'm using Tarte.
02:13 This is really one of my favorite lash curlers and then apply several coats of mascara on
02:19 both top and bottom lashes.
02:24 I feel like this look needs false lashes so I'm going in with my House of Lashes Pixi
02:30 Luxe false eyelashes.
02:32 These are gorgeous and they just look so beautiful on and I like to look down and apply the lashes
02:38 as close to my lash line as possible.
02:40 As you can see the difference is huge and then after that I'm just buffing my favorite
02:45 foundation onto my skin using Makeup Forever HD in the shade 153 and my Sigma Kabuki brush.
02:56 Next applying my concealer in shade NW20 and this is the Pro Longwear Concealer by MAC.
03:04 This is a couple shades lighter than my skin so it kind of highlights and conceals at the
03:08 same time.
03:15 So as you can see I like to apply my concealer on my laugh lines and sort of the center of
03:19 my face because like I said I like to highlight and conceal at the same time.
03:24 Next I'm just powdering and setting everything with a translucent powder.
03:29 Now to give my skin a nice glow I'm using this eyeshadow as a highlighter.
03:33 This is by MAC and it's called Sweet Heat and I'm applying this on the high points of
03:37 my cheeks as well as my brow bone and my cupid's bow.
03:41 For my bronzer I'm using the Balm Cosmetics.
03:44 I've used this in so many different videos.
03:45 I love this.
03:46 This is one of my favorite bronzers.
03:48 It does have a hint of shimmer so a lot of people think you can't contour with it but
03:53 the shimmer is not overpowering at all.
03:55 In fact it just gives your skin a really nice glow so I do like to use this to contour.
04:00 So I'm using it on my jawline, my cheekbones, my nose and my forehead to sort of shape and
04:07 frame my entire face.
04:15 Next applying this hot pink blush on the apples of my cheeks.
04:19 So I like to smile and pop it directly on the apples of my cheeks and sort of work my
04:22 way up.
04:25 To give my face even more of a glow I'm using this product called Fairly Precious by MAC
04:31 and applying this over my blush so this is just giving it a nice glow.
04:38 Alright I'm going to frame my brows before I do anything else with my eyes.
04:41 I'm just using Hourglass Cosmetics.
04:44 It's just a beautiful pencil and it's got a brush on the other end of it so it's so
04:48 convenient to sort of fill it in and then flip it around and brush it for more of a
04:52 natural finish.
04:55 Back to the eyes using C2 which is that main color.
04:58 I'm just going to apply this on my bottom lash line and sort of smoke it out even more
05:02 because I do want this to be a very dramatic smokey eye.
05:13 So this step is totally optional but I wanted to lighten my brows a little bit so I'm using
05:19 this brow gel by MAC to lighten them just by one or two shades.
05:24 And lastly for my lips I'm using Paula Dorf lip liner.
05:27 This is a beautiful color because since I've got so much going on with my eyes I'm going
05:31 to keep my lips very soft and light so I'm using this color and then next I'm applying
05:37 this Lise Watier lip gloss over it.
05:39 So as you can see it's very nice and soft so you can't really go wrong with a color
05:44 like this.
05:49 Alright guys that is all for this tutorial.
