00:00 Obviously not a look you're gonna be wearing to grandma's. I mean, I would wear it to my grandma's, but you know, we're on good terms.
00:06 So once again, I beat the light. I want to apologize. The lighting in this video is not good.
00:11 It was like, oh my god, that girl did a lot of damage today.
00:14 There's seriously a girl walking through my parking lot right now with probably like 15 shopping bags in her hand, like...
00:20 Anyway...
00:22 Hello everybody! So today, as you can see, I am doing a very colorful eye makeup tutorial.
00:43 I am doing this because I have gotten so, so many requests from you guys asking me to do a colorful eye look.
00:49 Now, I did the purple one, but I believe it's the only one I've done.
00:53 And plus, purple, even though it's color, it's not like colors, you know?
00:57 It's a general color and a lot of people wear purple smokey eyes and purple tones.
01:01 So this is different.
01:03 Even though smokey eyes and evening looks and Kim Kardashian makeup tutorials are fun, you know, this is also fun.
01:10 And even though it's not something you're gonna be wearing every single day, it's still something for occasions, you know?
01:15 Like going on vacation or festivals or concerts or the beach, whatever.
01:20 You know, it's fun.
01:21 And I'm using complementary colors here. I have on orange tones and blue tones, which are complementary to each other.
01:28 If you guys don't know how to find out colors that are complementary to each other, all you have to do is look at the RGB color wheel.
01:34 You can type it in online and look at it.
01:36 And whatever is opposite from the color is complementary color.
01:40 So blue is opposite of orange.
01:42 Orange and blue complement each other.
01:44 And red is opposite from green.
01:45 So red and green complement each other and so on and so forth.
01:48 So in this, I have orange tones and blue tones which complement each other.
01:51 And then also blue complements brown eyes.
01:54 And orange complements light eyes like green and blue.
01:57 So this is basically gonna look good on everybody.
01:59 So I tried to like work with it and help you guys out so everybody can wear this.
02:03 You just have to have the confidence to do it.
02:05 I hope you enjoy this and I hope you try it.
02:08 Let me know what you think.
02:10 Leave a comment below and don't forget to subscribe.
02:12 First thing I'm doing is taking Expensive Pink.
02:20 This is a corally pinky shade with gold undertones.
02:24 It looks beautiful on every skin tone from warm to neutral to cool.
02:28 It really flatters everybody.
02:30 It's a great shade.
02:31 And it is smooth as butter.
02:33 So I'm taking it and I'm packing it all over my lid.
02:36 You can put it on as generously as you want.
02:38 I'm not doing anything too precise right now with this color.
02:41 I'm just bringing it up as far as I want in the inner corner and on the outer corner as well.
02:45 Because I'm going to be going in with shades to blend this out.
02:49 And next I'm gonna take Samoa Silk.
02:52 Instead of taking Soft Brown like I normally do, I'm using this color because it's more yellowy.
02:57 And Soft Brown would not really complement these colors right now.
03:00 So I am just tossing it back and forth from inner corner to outer corner.
03:03 As you can see, I'm doing it pretty sloppy.
03:06 There's really no rhyme or reason to it because this is going to be very fluffed out.
03:10 Now I'm taking Coral by MAC.
03:13 This is a MAC Pro shade, but you can still get it if you don't have a Pro card.
03:17 And it's matte and it's very pigmented.
03:19 So I'm just going to take a tiny bit and I'm just going to dab it on the outer corner of my eye.
03:24 And then that's it.
03:25 Just walk away from it.
03:26 Now I'm taking Copper Ring.
03:28 This is a gorgeous copper shade.
03:30 If you want to branch out with colors and you don't know where to start,
03:33 I suggest Copper Ring by MAC because it's beautiful on brown eyes and light eyes, pale skin and dark skin.
03:40 It is gorgeous.
03:42 Oh my gosh.
03:43 So I'm putting that in my outer corner and I'm just dabbing it really low to my lash line
03:46 and then bringing it up into that crease.
03:48 So just start at the lashes and push it in there because you really want it to be the most pigmented
03:52 in the lower lash line in that outer corner.
03:54 So once I have that, I just go in with my fluffy brush again and toss it back and forth.
03:58 Now I'm going to take Rule, which as you can see is a true orange color.
04:02 You do not have to do this, but I am because the oranger that this look is,
04:06 the more complementary it's going to be to the blues I'm going to put on underneath of my eyelid.
04:11 So then I'm going to take Painterly Paint Pot and I'm going to prime the bottom part of my lash line.
04:16 And I'm doing this because I'm going to go in with colors down there and I don't want any of that to move.
04:22 By the way, it's raining so I'm sorry if you can hear that right now.
04:25 Oops.
04:26 Okay, I'm taking Chrome Yellow, which as you can see is yellow as can be.
04:30 And I'm going to dab this in my inner corner in a V shape.
04:33 But make sure when you're doing that V shape, you go up on that upper lid and blend it into that expensive pink.
04:39 Don't just stop. Make sure you bring it up there and blend those two colors together.
04:43 Okay, now I'm taking Surf USA.
04:46 This was a limited edition color, but I just grabbed it because it was right near me.
04:50 But Maybelline Color Tattoos also has a shade that's basically this exact same color.
04:56 Urban Decay has some. I believe L'Oreal has some.
05:00 So this is not a hard shade to find since I'm using a limited edition.
05:03 But as you can see, I'm just putting it in my lash line as tightly as possible, bringing it out towards that outer corner.
05:10 Then I'm going to take Shimmer Moss.
05:12 This is a shade by MAC and it's more light than the color I just used and it has more shimmer in it.
05:18 So I'm going to take this and put it in my inner corner very tightly as you can see on top of that yellow.
05:23 Putting it on top of that yellow is going to create a greenish shade.
05:26 So it's going to be from green to light blue to dark blue.
05:29 And I want that transition and that fade going on there.
05:32 Okay, as you can see, I put on my eyeliner and I winged it out.
05:35 And then I took my brush and I just put that blue right underneath of it.
05:39 And now I'm just blackening up my eyeliner even more.
05:42 I'm just showing you what to do because once you get the liner on, sometimes it can be like,
05:45 "Okay, this is awkward. The blue and the orange aren't connected."
05:48 So yeah, just put on the liner and let that be the line in between the blue and the orange on the outer corner,
05:53 if that makes any sense. I'm sure it does.
05:56 Okay, now I'm going to take NYX Glitter Liner.
05:58 This is in...actually, I don't know the shade. It's something jade.
06:01 I'll put it in the description box below.
06:03 But I put a couple of coats of this.
06:05 I put it on all the way in that very inner corner over top of that Shimmer Moss shade
06:09 and I drag it out about three quarters of the way.
06:13 And then I loosen up my hand once I get to the center of my eye.
06:16 Okay, I'm using Pro Longwear Foundation by MAC in shade NC40,
06:20 but I'm not showing you do my foundation because I'm going to be making a video on that soon
06:24 and I just think it's pointless.
06:26 I'm taking MAC's--MAC Pro, actually.
06:28 They're accentuating powder and I'm highlighting my under eye area with this very lightly.
06:33 I'm not doing an intense highlight by any means today.
06:36 This is very, very lightly done.
06:38 Then I'm taking a bronzer that's matte, just a few shades darker than me.
06:41 It's not really dark because my eyes are so intense that I want to leave the rest of my face very neutral.
06:47 So I'm contouring lightly with this and as you can see, it's not dark.
06:51 I don't want to give myself that bronze look.
06:53 But I'm going under the hollows of my cheekbones
06:55 and I'm just going to bring it up on the side of my face very lightly,
06:58 blend it out so you don't have any harsh lines because I don't want this to be noticeable.
07:01 And then I'm going to take Cantaloupe.
07:03 I've been obsessing over this blush.
07:05 I've owned it for like a year or two, but recently I've fallen in love with it all over again.
07:10 So I am taking that and putting it just on the apples of my cheeks,
07:13 dragging it up, blending it into my bronzer a little bit.
07:16 Sorry, it's my husband walking around in the background.
07:18 It kind of creeped me out for a second, but it's okay.
07:20 I'm showing a very blurry shot of me doing my mascara.
07:23 As you can see, the camera was not cooperating, but I just wanted to show you that I did do it.
07:27 And then I made a boo-boo and I got it on my face and I had to clean it up with a Q-tip.
07:31 If you wait just like 30 seconds when you get mascara on your face
07:34 and you swipe it with a Q-tip, it comes right off.
07:36 But if you do it immediately, it'll take off your makeup.
07:38 So wait and let it dry.
07:40 Now I am just using a neutral lip color.
07:42 I will put it in the description box below.
07:45 And after that, you're all done.
07:47 So I hope you enjoyed and thank you so much for watching.
07:49 Bye!
