00:09 Today I decided to recreate an Allison DeLaurentis makeup
00:13 look from Pretty Little Liars.
00:14 So I decided to base the look off what she was wearing
00:17 and how her hair and makeup was done in the scenes leading up
00:19 to the Jenna thing, if you know what flashback I'm talking
00:21 about.
00:22 And I absolutely love what she looks like all the time.
00:25 I think she looks really sweet, which
00:26 is funny because we all know how devious she is.
00:29 So I hope you guys like this look and just keep on watching.
00:33 Starting with skin, to get Ally's perfect complexion,
00:36 make sure your skin is moisturized
00:38 and then prep your skin.
00:41 Today I'm trying out Too Faced Primmed Poreless Skin
00:44 Smoothing Face Primer just to switch it up.
00:47 And after this product is applied,
00:49 I'm going to use a medium coverage foundation
00:51 on my own skin to get it looking flawless.
00:55 I'm using Revlon's Photo Ready Foundation.
00:57 And I've just pumped a little bit on the back of my hand.
01:01 And then with the foundation brush,
01:02 I am just applying this to my face starting in the center,
01:06 working my way outwards.
01:08 And while this sets, I am gently patting hands onto my face
01:11 to eliminate any streaks.
01:12 Allison always looks dewy and radiant,
01:23 so using a highlighter can really
01:25 bring out a natural glowing look to the face.
01:28 I'm using Moonbeam by Benefit on my cheekbones
01:31 and adding touches on my nose, chin, and forehead
01:34 for an overall glow.
01:35 I'm also using a little bit of the highlighter
01:38 on my inner corners and on my brow bone
01:40 for a subtle highlight.
01:41 For my lips and my cheeks for this look,
01:47 I am using Maybelline New York's Born With It
01:50 lipstick from the Color Sensational line.
01:53 And I am just applying this to the apples of my cheeks
01:55 and blending it outwards like it's a cream blush.
01:57 To set all the makeup on the face,
02:15 I am just applying a translucent powder lightly over my T-zone.
02:19 And then I'm just adding in a little bit of bronzer.
02:23 And I'm applying this product in a three motion
02:26 all over the face to give a summery glow
02:28 and also elongate my face to look more like hers.
02:31 Now for brows, Ally has super natural looking brows,
02:39 so I'm just adding a little bit of this pencil.
02:42 And it's lighter than my natural eyebrows,
02:44 but it still helps to define them a little bit.

02:50 Then I am priming my lids for a simple eyeshadow look.
02:58 With a shimmery pinky nude shade, pack the color
03:01 all over the lid starting from the center moving outwards.
03:04 Here I'm using Kitten from Stila.
03:14 Now I'm going to make use of my bronzer
03:16 that I've already used again.
03:18 And I'm going to apply it for my crease color
03:20 just for some subtle definition.
03:22 So I'm just using this in a windshield wiper motion.
03:25 And this is completely optional, but I
03:26 love the shade Yogurt from MAC.
03:28 It's just this light pinky nude color.
03:31 And it looks really nice to blend out
03:32 any softer medium toned browns.
03:34 So I'm just doing that, but that's completely optional.
03:42 Ally subtly wears a light blue color
03:44 on the outer part of her lid above her lash line
03:47 in flashbacks surrounding the genithing
03:49 and during the pool flashbacks, if you guys
03:51 know what I'm talking about.
03:52 And rather than a tealy aqua blue,
03:54 it's more of a baby blue to pick up
03:56 the light blues in her eyes.
03:57 So a great color to use is Aqua Cream Shadow
04:01 from Makeup Forever.
04:02 [MUSIC PLAYING]
04:05 With a black liquid liner, mine is from Sephora,
04:18 create a really thin line on the upper lash line
04:20 on the outer half to emphasize the lash line for mascara.
04:24 For added intensity, tight line your eyes
04:26 with a black liner pencil.
04:30 You are also going to want to dot the liner
04:32 along the bottom lash line.
04:35 I am leaving my waterline free of any eyeliner
04:38 to keep my eyes really open.
04:40 And to further open my eyes and create a flirty look,
04:43 I am applying a lot of mascara, especially to my upper lashes.
04:48 Finish off the look with the same pink lipstick
04:50 you used on the cheeks and just dab the lipstick
04:53 on for a natural look.
04:54 Finish off with a clear gloss over the lips,
04:56 and there is your Ally daytime look.

05:01 To get her tousled hair, start by parting your hair
05:14 down the center and brushing out any tangles.
05:17 As you can see, I have a lot of them.
05:27 A problem with parting your hair in the center
05:30 can be that it falls flat, so use a teasing comb
05:32 and tease around the part and spray
05:34 with a little bit of hairspray before you start curling
05:37 to give your hair a subtle lift.
05:38 Prep your hair with a heat protectant.
05:45 I'm using a sample one I got from Sephora.
05:47 Use a one-inch curling iron, and I'm
05:56 going to use it without a clamp like it's a wand.
05:59 Starting from the front of your hair,
06:01 take one-inch sections and curl away from your face.
06:05 As the curl is setting, scrunch the loose curl in your hand.
06:08 For the next curl, I am changing the direction
06:11 I am curling my hair.
06:12 So now I'm curling towards my face
06:14 to get a messy tousled, curled look.
06:17 Continue curling and scrunching the curls.
06:19 Start at different lengths for the curls,
06:21 and remember to curl in different directions
06:23 to get a messy, undone look.

06:28 Spray the curls with hairspray and scrunch and style
06:46 the curls.
06:47 Use a flexible hold hairspray so the curls are still
06:49 bouncy, soft, and touchable.

07:33 And now let's move on to the outfit.
07:35 This outfit is inspired by the outfit
07:40 Ally was wearing during the scenes leading up
07:42 to the Jenna thing.
07:44 Allison originally wore a floral chiffon top from Forever 21,
07:48 but it is no longer available.
07:50 So to get a similar shape, I looked at my mom's closet
07:53 for a chiffon floral top that I could belt to create
07:55 the same shape as her top had.
07:57 My mom's top is actually from Riepmann's,
08:00 and the braided belt I wore is from Arvizia.
08:03 Ally belts a lot of her looser fitting tops
08:05 to show off her petite waist, and the looser material
08:08 looks great over a jean light wash mini skirt.
08:11 I feel like jean skirts are old school,
08:13 but I really like the look of this together,
08:15 and the short skirt is from Abercrombie & Fitch.
08:17 Ally wore a statement flower necklace,
08:22 and I had one actually quite similar,
08:24 but I liked the look of this bright blue pendant
08:26 with my outfit.
08:28 She also wears a lot of big earrings for accessories,
08:30 so I paired the necklace with dangly earrings as well.
08:36 For shoes, you could wear white wedges or sandals,
08:38 or even little booties to finish off the look.
08:41 I chose to wear these pastel mini wedge sandals
08:43 from a brand called Jessica that I got from Sears.

09:08 and pick up-- there's a CoverGirl Neutrals palette,
09:11 and you could use that for the lid and in the crease.
09:14 And then there's tons of liquid liners.
09:16 I find this one is very pigmented and is long lasting
09:19 and is really bright, which I was looking for.
09:21 But there are tons in the drugstore department.
09:24 So yeah, I hope you guys like this look.
