00:12 and for this week's tutorial,
00:13 I'm gonna be doing an eye makeup look.
00:15 So because whenever I think of spring and summer,
00:17 I think of bright, beautiful colors that just pop,
00:20 that's kind of where the inspiration came from.
00:23 So as you can tell, my pop of color is gonna be
00:27 a pop of blue and it's on the lower lash line.
00:30 Now what I specifically love about this eye makeup look
00:33 is that the top, it looks just like your everyday,
00:36 neutral eye makeup look and then at the bottom
00:39 on the lower lash line, I just added that dramatic
00:42 pop of color, the pop of blue,
00:44 which just makes it a little more fun.
00:45 Makeup is all about fun, right?
00:47 Having fun with it, being creative.
00:50 So to use, or to create this eye makeup look,
00:53 all the shadows that I used came from the BH Malibu,
00:56 California makeup palette.
00:59 And this is super, I really love it, super affordable.
01:03 It has beautiful, bright colors, has yellows,
01:06 some browns, some peach tones, and then in the middle,
01:09 it also has a blush, a highlighter, a bronzer.
01:13 So it's super affordable.
01:15 That's what I love about BH Cosmetics.
01:17 So I definitely recommend this palette
01:19 for this time of year specifically
01:20 for bright, beautiful colors.
01:22 Also, this is a really simple, easy eye makeup look to do
01:25 so any of you out there can do it.
01:27 I'm all about quick and easy makeup looks
01:30 that you can do just when you're running out the door
01:33 really quick because we all have busy lives out there.
01:35 So if you wanna learn how to achieve this look,
01:38 then just keep watching.
01:40 All right, using my Urban Decay eyeshadow primer,
01:44 you wanna just start by applying it all over your lid
01:47 and what this does is it really helps prevent
01:49 your eyeshadows from creasing and it just makes sure
01:52 that it lasts all day long.
01:54 All right, using the cream color from the palette,
01:57 you just wanna start by applying this all over your eyelid
02:00 and you wanna do it in like a patting motion
02:02 to help prevent any fallout.
02:04 Also, you wanna add some to your brow bone
02:06 just to highlight that brow bone area.
02:08 Now, using that matte peach color from the palette,
02:13 you wanna use your Sigma E40 tapered blending brush
02:17 and just add this all over your crease
02:19 just to give it some definition.
02:21 This is gonna be your transition color.
02:24 All right, next, using that dark matte brown shade
02:27 from the palette, you wanna use your Sigma
02:30 small tapered blending E45 brush
02:33 and just add this to your outer crease,
02:36 really, really focusing on that outer V
02:39 and also add a little bit more into your crease
02:42 just to give it a little more dimension.
02:44 Okay, using that light brown color from the palette,
02:51 you wanna use your fluffy E40 blending brush
02:54 and just blend everything out.
02:56 All right, using that light brown
02:58 and the peach color from the palette,
03:00 using my Sigma E25 brush,
03:02 you wanna mix those both together
03:04 and just really deepen up that inner crease.
03:06 All right, now going back to that cream color,
03:15 I'm just gonna go back in and touch up
03:18 by adding a little bit more color near the lash line.
03:21 (upbeat music)
03:23 And just going back in with my Sigma E40 blending brush,
03:27 you just wanna go back in
03:28 and make sure everything is blended.
03:31 All right, and using the Schwing liquid eyeliner,
03:37 I'm just gonna use this to create a winged eyeliner look.
03:50 All right, and using my Smashbox eyeliner,
03:53 I'm gonna start by tight lining my upper lash line
03:56 just to help make my eyelashes look fuller.
03:59 All right, now I'm applying
04:00 my red cherry wispy lashes off camera.
04:03 So just click that annotation
04:04 if you wanna learn how to apply false eyelashes.
04:08 All right, now that I got my lashes,
04:09 I'm gonna go back with that dark brown color
04:12 and just deepen up that outer V.
04:14 All right, here I'm just adding some mascara
04:18 to help blend my lashes with my false eyelashes.
04:21 Now using my Sigma E21 smudge brush
04:25 and that dark blue matte color from the palette,
04:28 just add this all over your lower lash line.
04:31 Now using that dark blue color,
04:42 you just wanna go back in
04:43 and add that all over your lash line as well.
04:47 (upbeat music)
04:49 And now using that light shimmery blue color
04:57 from the palette,
04:58 you just wanna go back in and add that to the inner,
05:01 bottom of the lash line and also all throughout.
05:04 Now using my Mac 209 pencil brush,
05:07 you just wanna go back through all that work
05:10 and just really smoke it out
05:11 and make sure that it's really blended.
05:14 Now going back with that Smashbox eyeliner,
05:16 you just wanna line your waterline.
05:18 All right, and going back with that pencil brush,
05:22 you just wanna go back in and smoke it all out.
05:25 And also don't forget to add mascara to your lower lashes.
05:33 Here I am using my Clinique bottom lash mascara.
05:36 And lastly, I'm going to line my waterline
05:43 with this nude eyeliner
05:45 just to really help brighten up my eyes
05:47 and just make my eyes pop a little more.
05:49 And here's the finished look.
