00:00 Hi guys, in this tutorial it's all about the smokey eye, so if you want to learn how to
00:11 create this, please keep watching.
00:16 Whenever I create a smokey eye makeup look, I like to apply some sellotape to the ends
00:22 of my eye, this way you can be as messy as you want, but also it creates the perfect
00:28 line.
00:30 I like to apply an eye primer all over the eyelid, and I'm using the Urban Decay Primer
00:36 Potion.
00:44 For the eyelid colour, I'm applying Arena by MAC, with a flat brush by Royal and Langnickel.
00:51 I will apply that all over the eyelids and a little bit on the brow bone.
01:11 For my transition and crease colour, I'm applying Brun by MAC, with a MAC 224 Blender Brush.
01:19 I'm just lightly applying that into the crease.
01:45 I finally got my hands on the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, I got it for a Christmas
01:49 present, and I'm taking Blackheart on a flat brush by Royal and Langnickel, and applying
01:55 that on top of Arena.
01:58 This is the smokey colour wash.
02:11 Build the dark smokey colours up, don't apply too much at once, otherwise you're just going
02:18 to end up looking like a panda.
02:23 To make sure everything is blended, I use Nuna from the same palette and a MAC 224 brush,
02:29 to blend out any harsh lines that Blackheart may create.
02:54 This step is optional, I added Jet Couture Pressed Pigment by MAC, on top of Blackheart,
03:15 this makes the smokey look pop out.
03:19 After adding the product onto the brush, I sprayed it with Fix Plus, this allows the
03:23 pigment to stay on the eyelid, and also create a stronger effect.
03:38 You can apply eyeliner on this look, or you can leave it, but I chose to add a winged
04:02 eyeliner, and I used the E75 angled brow brush by Sigma, and Blacktrack by MAC.
04:21 I'm going to add a bit of a winged eyeliner, and I'm going to use the same brush, and I'm
04:49 going to blend it out.
04:54 And here's the moment of magic, when you remove the tape, you can see how defined the eyeshadow
05:00 is, look how amazing that looks once you've removed it.
05:04 So obviously you have to clean the under eye, because some product will go under.
05:16 On the under eye I'm taking Blackheart from the Urban Decay palette, and a pencil brush
05:21 from MAC, the 219, and I'm just lightly applying that under the lash line.
05:37 You can apply a nude kohl liner into the eye, I don't know where my black kohl eyeliner
05:43 pencil went, so I decided to try something else, I used the Rimmel Scandalized shadow
05:48 pencil in purple.
05:53 Time for lashes, I'm finally retailing the Curie lashes, and in this video I'm applying
05:59 the Sassy lashes.
06:01 I'm hopefully going to be uploading a video very soon about the Curie lashes, they are
06:07 just amazing, I am completely in love with them.
06:11 So for more information make sure you guys stay tuned, and I will show you the different
06:16 range that Curie has released.
06:23 The one thing which is amazing about these lashes is, you don't have to apply any mascara,
06:29 and wait until you see the difference between both eyes, it's amazing.
06:52 Now the eyes are done, it's time to apply the foundation, I'm mixing NW15 and NW35 by
07:17 MAC, and I'm applying it with a 190 foundation brush from MAC.
07:45 If there is one thing I recommend for you all to buy, it's definitely the Anastasia
08:09 Beverly Hills products, and I'm using the dip brow pomade in chocolate, a little bit
08:17 of this product can go very far, I hardly use any of this product, and it filled in
08:24 my brows.
08:47 To conceal the under eyes, I'm using the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in medium 2,
08:52 but I'm also using this as a highlighter.
09:02 And I'm blending the concealer out with the 190 MAC foundation brush.
09:32 To contour, I'm using the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in dark 1, and I'm applying that
09:37 to my cheekbones and my forehead.
09:47 It's important to blend the contour on your cheekbones upwards, rather than downwards,
09:52 because you want to create an illusion.
09:55 And I'm using the Real Techniques Kabuki brush.
10:16 To set the contour, I'm using the Holy Grail of makeup, the Anastasia Beverly Hills contour
10:22 kit, and I'm using the contour brush 168 by MAC.
10:28 I'm using the shade Havana from the contour kit, but Java will also work.
10:36 To set the under eye highlight, and any of the highlighting areas, I'm using the MAC
10:42 Prep and Prime translucent powder, and the powder brush by Royal and Langnickel.
10:53 Onto the lips, I can't stop using these lip products, I'm lining my lips with Whirl by
10:57 MAC, and for lipstick I'm using MAC's Velvet Teddy.
11:27 Adding a lip gloss is optional, but I'm applying Modest by MAC onto my lips.
11:34 This just creates a bit of shimmer, and it's not too much because it's a nude colour.
11:46 And for a highlighter on top of the cheekbones, I'm applying Sand by Anastasia Beverly Hills,
11:52 from the contour kit, and I'm using the Angle Shader brush by Royal and Langnickel.
11:58 Make sure when you're applying a highlighter, you blend everything out together.
12:15 For blush, I'm using Mocha by MAC, and I'm lightly applying that with the Royal and Langnickel
12:22 contour brush.
12:27 And here's the final look guys!
12:28 Thanks for watching!
