DILG and NPC held a a press conference to review resignations of PNP officials

Department of Interior and Local Secretary Benhur Abalos, National Police Commission Vice Chairperson Atty. Alberto Bernardo and other officials, held a press conference on Monday, May 8, at DILG-NAPOLCOM Center in Quezon City to provide updates on the findings of the five-man advisory body tasked to review and evaluate the courtesy resignations of Philippine National Police high-ranking officials. During the press briefing, Secretary Abalos announced that they rejected the courtesy resignation of 917 police officers and ordered further review of the courtesy resignations of 32 others. Abalos also said that 4 PNP officials will face grave misconduct and grave neglect of duty. (MB Video by Mark Balmores)
