00:00:00 continue to pay what's happening with energy.
00:00:02 But we were energy independent.
00:00:04 We were getting out of Afghanistan with strength and with dignity.
00:00:08 And instead, we got out.
00:00:09 We looked like fools.
00:00:10 Probably the most embarrassing moment in the history of our country.
00:00:13 We have a lot of questions about the economy and foreign policy tonight.
00:00:16 But what you just said there, Republican officials debunked those claims about fraudulent ballots.
00:00:21 We want to give you a chance tonight.
00:00:24 Republican officials in Georgia and every single state.
00:00:27 There is no -- your own election officials, Mr. President.
00:00:29 People were afraid to take on the issue.
00:00:32 But we have a big problem in this country.
00:00:34 We have elections -- we have elections that were horrible.
00:00:38 If you look at what happened in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, if you look at what happened
00:00:41 in Detroit, Michigan, if you look at what happened in Atlanta, millions of votes.
00:00:47 And all you have to do is take a look at government cameras.
00:00:50 You'll see them.
00:00:51 People going to 28 different voting booths to vote, to put in seven ballots apiece.
00:00:55 And they're all on camera.
00:00:56 But, Mr. President, I have to stop you there because there is no evidence of that.
00:00:59 Your own election officials testified to that and have said that.
00:01:03 Republicans in these states did this.
00:01:04 In Georgia, there were multiple recounts, including a hand recount.
00:01:07 We have questions about the claims that you're making tonight from voters on this topic.
00:01:12 I want to bring in Scott Dustin from Concord.
00:01:14 He works in insurance litigation.
00:01:16 He's an undeclared voter.
00:01:17 That's what they call independents here in New Hampshire, as you know.
00:01:20 He did vote for you in 2020.
00:01:21 Scott, what's your question for the president?
00:01:23 Hi, President Trump.
00:01:25 Welcome back to New Hampshire.
00:01:26 Thank you.
00:01:28 Will you suspend polarizing talk of election fraud during your run for president?
00:01:33 Will I suspend?
00:01:34 Excuse me.
00:01:35 What?
00:01:36 Will you suspend polarizing talk of election fraud during your run for president?
00:01:41 Yeah, unless I see election fraud.
00:01:43 If I see election fraud, I think I have an obligation to say it.
00:01:46 And you know what we went through a short while ago has really put our country in a
00:01:51 big problem.
00:01:52 I hope to do that.
00:01:53 I hope we're going to have very honest elections.
00:01:56 We should have voter I.D.
00:01:58 We should have one day elections.
00:01:59 We should have paper ballots instead of these mail in votes.
00:02:02 But the answer is yes.
00:02:03 And I hope that it's going to be very straight up, because if it's going to be straight up,
00:02:07 we're going to win the election.
00:02:08 So you will suspend talk to his question about the 2020 election on the campaign trail?
00:02:13 I guess we're going to just win.
00:02:15 We're at a point now we're getting so close.
00:02:17 Let's just win it again and straighten out our country.
00:02:19 One other question on this.
00:02:20 When you talk about the 2020 election results in the past, you once suggested terminating
00:02:32 the the Constitution.
00:02:33 Do you stand by those comments?
00:02:35 No, no.
00:02:36 You are able to do certain things.
00:02:37 I'm not talking about terminating the Constitution.
00:02:39 I'm talking about cherishing the Constitution.
00:02:42 The Constitution says it was supposed to have legal and well maintained and well looked
00:02:48 at elections.
00:02:49 And we didn't have that.
00:02:51 I cherish our Constitution, but we have to live up to the Constitution.
00:02:55 We weren't living up to the Constitution.
00:02:57 I was just saying there's no evidence of that election fraud.
00:03:00 You did once tweet.
00:03:01 You're supposed to say that, but I'm glad you say that.
00:03:03 But look, that was a horrible election.
00:03:06 That was a horrible election.
00:03:08 And unless somebody is very stupid, and I know you very well, you're not stupid at all.
00:03:13 But you perhaps are given an agenda or you have an agenda.
00:03:16 But we have to have honest elections in our country.
00:03:20 We have open borders.
00:03:21 We have.
00:03:22 You look at what's happening.
00:03:23 I mean, we have elections.
00:03:29 We have open borders.
00:03:30 Look at what's happening on our southern border.
00:03:33 Millions and millions of people are coming in.
00:03:34 They're being released from prisons.
00:03:36 They're being released from mental institutions.
00:03:40 And we have millions of people pouring into our country.
00:03:43 And now they're getting rid of Title 42, which I put on, which kept people out that were
00:03:47 sick and had problems.
00:03:48 And, Mr. President, we have a lot of questions about immigration to get to tonight.
00:03:51 Obviously, that's a big topic, especially given what's expected to happen tomorrow.
00:03:55 But I want to talk about the influence you have over your voters.
00:03:58 It's very clear that you are very influential over them.
00:04:00 You have a lot of impact.
00:04:01 I've been to many of your rallies and seen it up close, which raised a lot of questions
00:04:05 about the influence that we saw that you had on them on January 6th and your supporters
00:04:08 when they attacked the Capitol.
00:04:10 Do you have any regrets about your actions on January 6th?
00:04:14 Well, you know, January 6th was again, we go back to it.
00:04:18 But January 6th had to do with the fact that hundreds of thousands of people and you don't
00:04:22 see the pictures very often.
00:04:24 A lot of the people here probably were there January 6th.
00:04:27 It was the largest crowd I've ever spoken to.
00:04:30 That was prior to the walk down to the Capitol building.
00:04:34 I don't think and I've spoken to hundreds of thousands of people.
00:04:38 I've never spoken to a crowd as large as this.
00:04:40 And that was because they thought the election was rigged and they were there proud.
00:04:45 They were there with love in their heart.
00:04:47 That was an unbelievable and it was a beautiful day.
00:04:51 And what I was asked to do, I wasn't involved in it very much.
00:04:54 I was asked to come in.
00:04:55 Would I make a speech?
00:04:56 I made a speech.
00:04:57 I said, walk peacefully and patriotically, you know, many different things.
00:05:01 In fact, I brought a list of things.
00:05:03 I don't want to bore the audience, but we can go sentence after sentence after sentence
00:05:07 of things I said and things I put out.
00:05:11 One of the big problems was that Nancy Pelosi, crazy Nancy, as I affectionately call her,
00:05:16 crazy Nancy Pelosi and the mayor of Washington were in charge, as you know, of security and
00:05:21 they did not do their job.
00:05:22 You're in charge.
00:05:23 They are.
00:05:24 Well, I offered them national guard.
00:05:26 I said, we'll give you soldiers.
00:05:27 We'll give you a national guard.
00:05:29 We'll give you whatever you want.
00:05:30 And they turned me down.
00:05:31 And in fact, she turned me down.
00:05:33 She took excuse me.
00:05:34 She turned me down in writing.
00:05:36 They turned me down.
00:05:37 I was texting Defense Secretary Chris Miller at the time.
00:05:39 He says you never gave a formal order to deploy the National Guard.
00:05:43 But when it shows me just the opposite, he wrote a book and he's a fantastic guy and
00:05:49 he was ready to go.
00:05:50 They turned him down.
00:05:51 If you look, the mayor of Washington, D.C., lovely lady, she said, we don't want to.
00:05:57 We don't like the look.
00:05:58 Nancy Pelosi said, oh, we don't like the look.
00:06:00 If they would have had just I offered them ten thousand soldiers.
00:06:04 I said it could be 10.
00:06:05 It could be more.
00:06:06 But I offered them specifically ten thousand soldiers.
00:06:10 If they would have taken five hundred soldiers, you wouldn't have the problem.
00:06:13 They turned it down.
00:06:14 And if you look at the inspector general report, he says they turned it down.
00:06:18 They made a terrible mistake.
00:06:19 Well, Chris Miller was your acting defense secretary.
00:06:22 He says you never gave that order.
00:06:23 But back to what happened on that day.
00:06:24 You said you weren't say that he has testified that he did not say that.
00:06:28 But you said you weren't very involved that day.
00:06:30 You did tell your supporters to come to Washington.
00:06:32 You tweeted about it, about that speech that happened on the rally.
00:06:34 Am I allowed to say that when they went to the Capitol and they were breaking into the
00:06:39 Capitol, smashing windows, injuring police officers?
00:06:41 Why did you why did it take you three hours to tell them to go home?
00:06:44 I don't believe it did.
00:06:45 Oh, let me pull it out.
00:06:46 I have to.
00:06:47 So.
00:06:48 So if you look at.
00:06:58 On January 5th, the day before, I said, please support our Capitol Police and law enforcement.
00:07:04 They are truly on the side of our country.
00:07:06 Stay peaceful.
00:07:08 Stay peaceful.
00:07:09 This was the day before.
00:07:10 And this was in the form of Twitter.
00:07:12 Now use truth.
00:07:13 Truth social.
00:07:14 I think it's far superior.
00:07:15 OK, I hope everybody's.
00:07:17 I hope everybody's on truth.
00:07:19 If you look, January 6th at two before two thirty.
00:07:23 I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful.
00:07:27 This is right after as it was happening.
00:07:30 But what happened is they took it down.
00:07:33 I don't know why.
00:07:34 I think they took it down because it was so good.
00:07:36 They didn't like it being up there.
00:07:38 I am asking this is and we didn't know until I got it back, because now I have 90 million
00:07:43 people waiting for me to go back.
00:07:45 But I'm on truth and I'm staying on truth.
00:07:47 Listen, I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful.
00:07:51 No violation that we want.
00:07:53 No violation.
00:07:54 We want no violence.
00:07:56 Remember, we are the party of law and order.
00:07:58 Respect the law and our great men and women in blue.
00:08:01 Thank you.
00:08:02 But January 6th at two thirty.
00:08:03 That was very early.
00:08:04 Mr. President, I looked at the same timeline that you did.
00:08:07 No, I know, but you didn't report that.
00:08:09 You know why?
00:08:10 Because it was we did report it.
00:08:11 I was taken down.
00:08:12 It was taken down.
00:08:13 But when it was clear to you that they were not being peaceful, you saw them rushing the
00:08:16 Capitol, breaking windows.
00:08:18 They were hitting officers with flagpoles, tasing them, beating them up when it was clear
00:08:23 they weren't being peaceful.
00:08:25 Why did you wait three hours to tell them to leave the Capitol?
00:08:28 They listened to you like no one else.
00:08:30 You know that they do.
00:08:32 I agree with that.
00:08:33 So why did you tell them to go sooner?
00:08:34 Nancy Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi and the mayor are in charge.
00:08:36 I assume they were able to do their job.
00:08:38 They weren't.
00:08:39 But Pelosi is not in charge of Capitol security.
00:08:40 And if you remember, I made a video right outside the Oval Office in the Rose Garden.
00:08:46 And I'm very proud of that video.
00:08:48 I didn't have a script.
00:08:49 I don't need scripts like a certain person that's in there right now.
00:08:52 The video, it came out much later after they had already attacked the Capitol.
00:09:00 There was a beautiful video and it said, I mean, I don't want to read it all, but you
00:09:04 have you have to go home now.
00:09:07 We have to have peace.
00:09:08 We have to have law and order.
00:09:10 We have to respect our great people of law and order.
00:09:13 We love the people of law and order.
00:09:14 We can't play into the hands of these other people.
00:09:18 We have to have peace.
00:09:20 Please go home.
00:09:21 I said that.
00:09:22 You know, they did order.
00:09:23 They took that down.
00:09:24 And you know, to this day, it hasn't been put up.
00:09:27 And the reason is it's so good and so conclusive that all of this nonsense and all of the tens
00:09:33 of millions of dollars that have been spent are just wiped away with this one.
00:09:38 And they've never put it back up.
00:09:39 They had another one that they did the same video that you referenced there.
00:09:42 It wasn't posted until 417 p.m.
00:09:45 They breached the Capitol at 2 p.m. video was posted or 7 before.
00:09:51 Actually a little bit before that.
00:09:53 Right.
00:09:54 So that's my excuse me.
00:09:55 In that three hours, over a hundred and forty officers were posted after the first one I
00:09:57 just read, though, and that was at 2 o'clock.
00:09:59 But I think the reason the timeline is so critical here, because going back to your
00:10:03 influence is another three hours over one hundred and forty officers were injured that
00:10:07 day and a person named Ashley Babbitt was killed.
00:10:11 Yes.
00:10:12 You know what?
00:10:13 She was killed and she shouldn't have been killed.
00:10:15 And that thug that killed her.
00:10:16 There was no reason to shoot her at blank range, cold, blank range.
00:10:22 They shot her and she was a good person.
00:10:25 She was a patriot.
00:10:26 There was no reason.
00:10:27 There was no reason.
00:10:29 And he went on television to brag about the fact that he killed her.
00:10:33 That the officer was not bragging about the fact that he killed her.
00:10:36 But one person who was at the Capitol that day, as you know, was your vice president,
00:10:40 Mike Pence, who says that you endangered his life on that day.
00:10:44 I don't think he was in any danger.
00:10:46 Mr. President, do you feel that you owe him an apology?
00:10:49 No, because he did something wrong.
00:10:50 We should have put the votes back to the state legislatures and I think we would have had
00:10:54 a different outcome.
00:10:55 I really do.
00:10:56 He doesn't have the authority to do that.
00:10:57 The vice president does not have the authority to reject those.
00:11:03 This one not just now because it's interesting.
00:11:06 Let's keep it interesting.
00:11:07 Right.
00:11:08 I like Mike Pence very much.
00:11:10 He's a very fine man.
00:11:11 He's a very nice man.
00:11:12 He made a mistake.
00:11:13 His lawyer said you cannot move.
00:11:15 I called him the human conveyor belt.
00:11:17 I said even if the votes you mean.
00:11:19 I talked to his lawyer, even if the votes are absolutely fraudulent, he can't say yes,
00:11:23 he can say that.
00:11:24 And the Democrats played it and the RINOs played it.
00:11:27 And then the election was over.
00:11:29 They told him he couldn't do it.
00:11:30 And Mike said to me, I can't do it.
00:11:31 The lawyers told me you can't do it.
00:11:32 They can't do it.
00:11:33 But the lawyers were wrong, because right after the election, they all met the RINOs and the
00:11:38 Democrats and they worked out a plan to make sure that future vice presidents don't do
00:11:44 what I said you could do.
00:11:45 That's not what happened.
00:11:46 You're referring to the Electoral Count Act.
00:11:48 I've read I've read that there is there is no authority.
00:11:50 No legal experts, including Republican legal experts, say that he does not have that authority.
00:11:55 But I want to change the law, then saying that you can't do it.
00:11:59 They didn't change the law.
00:12:00 They strengthen the law because they were worried about the strength of it.
00:12:02 You could do it.
00:12:03 That's not what it means.
00:12:04 Thank you.
00:12:05 They strengthen the right to do it.
00:12:09 They convinced him he didn't.
00:12:12 And it was a horrible thing for our country.
00:12:14 If you would have sent those votes back to Georgia, Pennsylvania and other states, Wisconsin,
00:12:19 which if you look at Wisconsin, they virtually admitted now that the election was rigged.
00:12:24 If you would have sent those votes back to many of those states, they would not come
00:12:28 back in the affirmative.
00:12:30 And remember what I said.
00:12:32 And you just said it pretty much.
00:12:34 You admitted what I said was right.
00:12:35 I said he didn't have the right to do it and he did have the right to do it.
00:12:40 And that's why they changed the law, taking that right away.
00:12:44 I should note that your campaign paid for a recount that happened in Wisconsin.
00:12:47 It actually had more votes for President Biden by the end of it.
00:12:50 But I want to move on to Wayne Beyer.
00:12:51 He's a retired attorney from North Conway.
00:12:53 So many illegal votes were cast in Wisconsin.
00:12:56 And if you look in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, they had so many legal illegal votes.
00:13:01 They didn't even know what to do with them.
00:13:03 You're absolutely right.
00:13:04 Mr. President, there weren't any fraudulent votes in Wisconsin.
00:13:06 I do want to get to the audience.
00:13:07 So we have questions for you from the audience.
00:13:09 A retired Wayne Beyer is a retired attorney from North Conway.
00:13:13 He has previously served in Republican administrations.
00:13:15 He volunteered for the Republican Party in the twenty twenty two midterms.
00:13:18 He voted for you in twenty twenty.
00:13:20 What's your question for the president?
00:13:22 Thank you for coming, Mr. President.
00:13:23 Thank you.
00:13:24 My my my question to you is, will you pardon the January six rioters who were convicted
00:13:31 of federal offenses?
00:13:33 I am inclined to pardon many of them.
00:13:36 I can't say for every single one because a couple of them probably they got out of control.
00:13:42 But, you know, when you look at Antifa, what they've done to Portland, and if you look
00:13:46 at Antifa, look at what they've done to Minneapolis and so many other so many other places, look
00:13:52 at what they did to Seattle and BLM, BLM.
00:13:57 Many people were killed.
00:13:59 These people I'm not trying to justify anything, but you have two standards of justice of this
00:14:05 country and what they've done.
00:14:07 And I love that question because what they've done to so many people is nothing, nothing.
00:14:13 And then what they've done to these people, they've persecuted these people.
00:14:17 And yeah, my my answer is I am most likely if I get in, I will most likely I would say
00:14:22 it will be a large portion of them.
00:14:24 You know, they did a very.
00:14:25 And it'll be very early on.
00:14:26 And they're living in hell right now.
00:14:33 So when it comes to living in hell and their policemen and their firemen and their soldiers
00:14:38 and their carpenters and electricians and their great people, many of them are just
00:14:42 great people.
00:14:43 Mr. President, one of the people who was convicted was a former policeman, but he was convicted
00:14:48 of attacking a police officer, I should note.
00:14:50 But when you said you are considering pardoning a large portion of those charged with crimes
00:14:55 on January 6th, does that include the four Proud Boys members who were charged and convicted
00:15:00 of seditious conspiracy?
00:15:01 I don't know.
00:15:02 I'm not going to look at their case.
00:15:03 But I will say in Washington, D.C., you cannot get a fair trial.
00:15:07 You cannot.
00:15:08 Just like in New York City, you can't get a fair trial.
00:15:11 Speaking of New York, I want to ask you about a significant verdict that was reached yesterday.
00:15:18 I know this is something you want to weigh in on as well.
00:15:21 A Manhattan jury found that you sexually abused the writer E. Jean Carroll and defamed her.
00:15:25 You've denied this.
00:15:27 But what do you say to voters who say it disqualifies you from being president?
00:15:30 Well, there aren't too many of them because my poll numbers just came out.
00:15:33 They went up.
00:15:34 I think I'm the only person in history who had a charge like that.
00:15:42 And usually you leave office, you say, I'm sorry, but I'm going to back home.
00:15:46 I'm back home to my family and everything.
00:15:48 I'm going to be resigned.
00:15:49 My poll numbers went up and they went up with the other fake charge, too, because what's
00:15:53 happening is they're doing this for election interference.
00:15:57 This woman, I don't know her.
00:15:59 I never met her.
00:16:00 I have no idea who she is.
00:16:02 I had a picture taken years ago with her and her husband, nice guy, John Johnson.
00:16:06 He was a newscaster, a very nice man.
00:16:09 She called him an ape, happens to be African, African-American, called him an ape.
00:16:13 The judge wouldn't allow us to put that in.
00:16:16 Her dog or her cat was named Vagina.
00:16:20 The judge wouldn't allow to put that in.
00:16:22 All of these things.
00:16:23 But with her, they can put in anything.
00:16:26 This is a jury of nine people who found you liable of sexual abuse.
00:16:31 Do you think that that will deter women from voting for you?
00:16:34 No, I don't think so, because I think the whole thing, just so you understand, ready?
00:16:39 I never met this woman.
00:16:42 I never saw this woman.
00:16:44 This woman said I met her at the front door of Bergdorf Goodwin, which I rarely go into
00:16:48 other than for a couple of charities.
00:16:51 I met her in the front door.
00:16:53 She was about 60 years old.
00:16:54 This is like 22, 23 years ago.
00:16:57 I met her in the front door of Bergdorf Goodwin.
00:16:59 I was immediately attracted to her and she was immediately attracted to me.
00:17:03 And we had this great chemistry.
00:17:06 We're walking into a crowded department, so we had this great chemistry.
00:17:10 And a few minutes later, we end up in a room, a dressing room, at Bergdorf Goodwin, right
00:17:15 near the cash register.
00:17:17 And then she found out there are locks on the door.
00:17:19 She said, I found one that was open.
00:17:21 She found one.
00:17:22 She learned this at trial.
00:17:23 She found one that was open.
00:17:25 What kind of a woman meets somebody and brings them up and within minutes you're playing
00:17:29 hanky panky in a dressing room?
00:17:31 OK, I don't know if she was married then or not.
00:17:34 John Johnson.
00:17:35 I feel sorry for you, John Johnson.
00:17:36 Mr. President, can I?
00:17:37 Think of it.
00:17:38 I know you're recounting what she said, but Mr. President, let me just if I could, because
00:17:44 you asked the question.
00:17:45 Just so you understand, if I was walking in at the park, because I was very famous then
00:17:48 and I owned the Plaza Hotel right next door and I own buildings around it.
00:17:52 I'm not going into a dressing room of a crowded department store.
00:17:57 Then I say if she was being raped and by the way, they said she wasn't raped.
00:18:01 OK, that was her charge.
00:18:02 It was it.
00:18:03 They found they found her.
00:18:05 Say what they did.
00:18:07 They said he didn't rape her and they didn't.
00:18:09 I didn't do anything else either.
00:18:10 You know what?
00:18:11 Because I have no idea who the hell she is.
00:18:12 But I don't know who this woman is.
00:18:13 Can I ask you, given you're recounting your version?
00:18:15 I don't know.
00:18:16 And I tell you this.
00:18:17 But Mr. President, are you ready?
00:18:18 Can I?
00:18:19 Can I swear on my children, which I'd never do?
00:18:21 I have no idea who this woman.
00:18:23 This is a fake story, made up story.
00:18:27 We had a horrible Clinton appointed judge.
00:18:29 He was horrible.
00:18:31 He allowed her to put everything in.
00:18:33 He allowed us to put nothing in.
00:18:35 Mr. President, this is a fake story.
00:18:36 You're recounting your version of events here right now to the audience.
00:18:39 You referenced the trial.
00:18:41 You did not go to the trial and actually testified.
00:18:43 Do you wish that you had testified?
00:18:44 No, it wouldn't have made a difference.
00:18:46 This is a rigged deal.
00:18:47 This was a my lawyer said, sir, you don't have to do it.
00:18:51 I actually said, I think I should.
00:18:52 It would be respectful.
00:18:53 They said, sir, don't do it.
00:18:55 This is a fake story and you don't want to give it credibility.
00:18:58 Once again, you go.
00:18:59 One thing you did do it.
00:19:00 And I swear.
00:19:01 And I've never done that.
00:19:02 And I swear to I have no idea who the hell she's a white president.
00:19:09 You did not testify in person in this trial.
00:19:12 There was a tape deposition of you from October in it.
00:19:15 You defended the comments that you made on that excess Hollywood tape about being able
00:19:19 to grab women how you want.
00:19:21 Do you stand by those comments?
00:19:23 I said, if you're famous and rich or whatever, I said, but I said, if you're a star, you
00:19:29 are.
00:19:30 And I said, women let you.
00:19:32 I didn't say you grab.
00:19:33 I said, women let you know, you didn't use that word.
00:19:36 But if you look, women let you now.
00:19:39 They said, will you take that back?
00:19:40 I said, look, for a million years, this is the way it's been.
00:19:45 I want to be honest.
00:19:46 This is the way it's been.
00:19:47 I can take it back if you'd like to.
00:19:49 But if you're a famous person, if you're a star, and I'm not referring to myself, I'm
00:19:54 saying people that are famous, people that are stars, people that are rich, people that
00:19:59 are powerful.
00:20:01 They tend to do pretty well in a lot of different ways.
00:20:04 OK.
00:20:05 And you would like me to take that back.
00:20:06 I can't take it back because it happens to be true.
00:20:09 I said it's been true for one million years, approximately a million years, perhaps a little
00:20:13 bit longer than that.
00:20:14 So you stand by those comments?
00:20:15 I don't want to lie.
00:20:16 Mr. President, here's what she wants to say.
00:20:18 Let's get to the audience questions tonight.
00:20:19 A rich and famous person has no advantage over anyone else.
00:20:23 Well, you do have an advantage.
00:20:24 And I say unfortunately, but that's the way it is.
00:20:27 You said fortunately or unfortunately.
00:20:28 Well, fortunately or unfortunately for her.
00:20:29 We have a lot of audience questions to get to tonight.
00:20:32 I want to go back to the audience.
00:20:33 We've got Danielle Rieger.
00:20:34 She works as an oral surgery assistant.
00:20:37 She's a Republican activist from Derry.
00:20:39 She's a New Hampshire delegate for you in 2020.
00:20:41 What's your question?
00:20:42 Hi.
00:20:43 Thank you so much for coming to New Hampshire to answer our questions.
00:20:47 My question is regarding the economy.
00:20:50 Over the past two years, we have seen the prices for everything skyrocket from food
00:20:55 to gas to utilities and insurance costs.
00:20:58 Many people's bills are up several hundred dollars a month, including mine.
00:21:02 If elected president again, what is the first thing you would do to help bring down the
00:21:07 cost to make things more affordable?
00:21:10 Oil baby drill.
00:21:14 We were energy independent.
00:21:22 We were soon going to be energy dominant.
00:21:25 And nobody had ever done what I did.
00:21:26 We got oil down to a dollar eighty seven.
00:21:29 Actually, it fell lower than that.
00:21:30 In some cases, we had to save the oil companies.
00:21:33 The price was getting so we were doing incredibly.
00:21:35 We had the greatest economy in the history of our country, probably the greatest economy
00:21:39 in the history of the world.
00:21:40 We're energy independent, soon to be energy dominant.
00:21:43 We were going to be bigger than Russia and Saudi Arabia put together times two.
00:21:48 We have more liquid gold under our feet than any other nation, any other nation.
00:21:53 And these stupid fools ended it.
00:21:57 And energy went from a dollar eighty seven and even lower for gasoline for a car.
00:22:02 They went from a dollar eighty seven to five, six, seven, eight and even nine dollars.
00:22:07 And your electricity bills went through the roof.
00:22:09 Your heating bills went through the roof.
00:22:11 And that's what started inflation.
00:22:13 And it hasn't stopped because people are paying now for bacon and for eggs and for the two
00:22:18 and three times what it was just a little while ago.
00:22:21 We created the greatest economy in history.
00:22:24 A big part of that economy was I get got you the biggest tax cuts in the history of our
00:22:28 country, bigger than the Reagan cuts, bigger than any.
00:22:33 And also, Caitlin, also, as you know, we got the biggest regulation and regulatory cuts.
00:22:41 We this place was rocking and then we were given a gift from China and China paid a big
00:22:46 price.
00:22:47 And let me tell you something, I took in hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes from China.
00:22:53 But prior to covid coming in and then I rebuilt the economy again a second time.
00:22:58 But we had prior to covid coming in as as from China, from Wuhan, which I said it came
00:23:03 from Wuhan.
00:23:04 Everybody said, oh, you're wrong about that.
00:23:05 You're wrong.
00:23:06 It came from Wuhan.
00:23:07 I said it right from day one.
00:23:08 So we had the greatest economy in the world.
00:23:11 Here's the story.
00:23:13 They made energy so high and energy is all invasive.
00:23:16 It is massive as an industry and as a cost.
00:23:20 It lifted everything.
00:23:21 If you don't, if you made donuts, if you made no matter what you did and we had inflation,
00:23:27 the likes of which I guess we haven't had, as I said, for 52 years.
00:23:30 But I think more than that, we had no inflation.
00:23:33 We had the lowest energy prices we've had in decades.
00:23:37 This country was rocking and rolling.
00:23:39 And by the way, we had the most secure border in the history of our country.
00:23:42 We have more questions on the economy.
00:23:43 I want to make sure we get to all of those.
00:23:44 As you know, the U.S. right now could be just three weeks away from defaulting on its debt.
00:23:51 That could mean millions of jobs lost, people not getting their Social Security payments.
00:23:56 People believe it would put the U.S. economy into a recession.
00:23:59 On that topic, I want to bring in Marta Surveya, a student here at St. Ann's home.
00:24:03 She is an undeclared voter who did not vote in 2020.
00:24:05 Marta, what's your question?
00:24:07 Hi, Mr. President.
00:24:09 So my question is, what do you think about the United States current debt situation and
00:24:13 how can we move forward?
00:24:16 Such an important question.
00:24:17 So we're at thirty three trillion dollars, a number that nobody ever thought possible.
00:24:23 When we had our economy rocking and rolling just prior to Covid coming in, like literally
00:24:28 we were making a fortune and oil, we're going to make so much money from oil.
00:24:32 We're going to start paying off debt.
00:24:34 But then with Covid coming in, we had to do other things.
00:24:36 We had to keep this country alive because it was so serious.
00:24:40 But we have to get the country back.
00:24:41 We have to lower energy prices.
00:24:43 We have to lower interest rates.
00:24:45 Interest rates are through the roof.
00:24:46 Energy has to come down.
00:24:47 It all has to come down.
00:24:48 And we have to start paying off debt.
00:24:50 But when we have a debt limit and they use that very seriously, I mean, they came in,
00:24:55 Schumer came in with Nancy Pelosi and they were using a will violate it.
00:25:00 We'll do whatever.
00:25:01 They talked a whole lot different than they do right now.
00:25:03 I say to the Republicans out there, congressmen, senators, if they don't give you massive cuts,
00:25:09 you're going to have to do a default.
00:25:11 And I don't believe they're going to do it before, because I think the Democrats will
00:25:15 absolutely cave because you don't want to have that happen.
00:25:19 But it's better than what we're doing right now, because we're spending money like drunken
00:25:24 sailors.
00:25:25 So just to be clear, Mr. President, you think the U.S. should default if the White House
00:25:29 does not agree to the spending cuts Republicans might as well do it now because you'll do
00:25:32 it later, because we have to save this country.
00:25:35 Our country is dying.
00:25:37 Our country is being destroyed by stupid people, by very stupid people.
00:25:40 You once said that using the using the debt ceiling as a negotiating wedge just could
00:25:46 not happen.
00:25:47 You said that when you were in the Oval Office.
00:25:49 So why is it different now that you're out of office?
00:25:51 Now I'm not president.
00:26:01 The U.S. defaulting would be massively consequential for everyone in this room.
00:26:05 For all of you don't know.
00:26:06 It's psychological.
00:26:07 It's really psychological more than anything else.
00:26:09 And it could be very bad.
00:26:10 It could be maybe nothing.
00:26:12 Maybe it's a you have a bad week or a bad day.
00:26:15 But look, you have to cut your costs.
00:26:18 You're spending seven trillion dollars on much of it on nonsense.
00:26:24 Seven trillion dollars on nonsense.
00:26:26 We've got another voter to get all of that money that was wasted.
00:26:30 And frankly, the Senate should have never approved it.
00:26:32 Get all that money that was wasted.
00:26:34 And if they don't get rid of that, you'll have to default.
00:26:36 Mr. President, we've got another voter here.
00:26:38 And by the way, you're going to default eventually anyway.
00:26:41 But it's going to be much messier.
00:26:42 I don't think you'll have to default.
00:26:44 I think if the Republicans hold strong and they say we want five.
00:26:49 Let's say we want five trillion dollars off.
00:26:51 I really think the Democrats have no choice but to do it.
00:26:55 And if I win, they're going to be doing the same thing to me in two years.
00:26:58 I guarantee you that.
00:26:59 Mr. President, we've got another voter here tonight.
00:27:00 And they did that before.
00:27:01 Bobby Petrino has been waiting very patiently.
00:27:03 He's a student at St. Anselm.
00:27:05 He's a member of College Republicans.
00:27:06 He's an undeclared voter right now.
00:27:08 He supported you in 2020.
00:27:10 Bobby, what's your question for President Trump?
00:27:12 Hi, thank you for coming.
00:27:13 This is a bit of a pivot.
00:27:14 But with gun violence and mass shootings in the news cycle recently, I'm worried that
00:27:18 state governments and the federal government are going to act to repress gun rights.
00:27:22 Under your administration, you instructed the Department of Justice and the ATF to ban
00:27:26 bump stocks.
00:27:28 If elected president again, how would you act not only to defend our Second Amendment
00:27:31 rights, but to restore rights that have been taken from us, such as, by example, recently
00:27:35 the ATF's ruling on the pistol stabilizing braces?
00:27:38 As you know, the bump stocks are actually a very unimportant thing.
00:27:42 And NRA, I went with them and they said it doesn't mean anything.
00:27:45 Or actually, all they do is teach you how to shoot very inaccurately.
00:27:48 So we did that.
00:27:49 There's been nobody that's protected the Second Amendment, as you know, like I have.
00:27:53 I protected it through thick and thin, not easy to do.
00:27:56 But we have a very big mental health problem in this country.
00:28:01 And again, it's not the gun that pulls the trigger.
00:28:03 It's the person that pulls the trigger.
00:28:05 And we have to protect our Second Amendment.
00:28:06 We have to protect our Second Amendment.
00:28:07 Mr. President, you dealt with a lot of mass shootings when you were in office.
00:28:12 This year, there have already been more than 200 mass shootings in 2023.
00:28:17 If you are reelected, are there any new gun restrictions that you would sign into law?
00:28:21 I would do numerous things.
00:28:23 For instance, schools, we would harden, very, very much harden.
00:28:27 And I also am a very believer.
00:28:28 I believe in teachers.
00:28:29 I love teachers.
00:28:30 I think they're incredible.
00:28:31 And they love the children, not quite like the parents, but they love the children in
00:28:34 many cases almost as much.
00:28:36 Many of these teachers are soldiers, ex-soldiers, ex-policemen.
00:28:40 They're people that really understand weapons.
00:28:41 And you don't need -- 5 percent of the teachers would be more than you could ever have if
00:28:45 you're going to hire security guards.
00:28:47 But in addition to that, have security guards.
00:28:49 You have to harden your entrances.
00:28:51 You have to make schools safe.
00:28:53 And you can make other places safe.
00:28:55 But it is a big mental health problem in this country, more than anything else.
00:29:00 And remember, we have 700 million guns, 700 million.
00:29:06 Many people, if they don't have a gun, they're not going to be very safe.
00:29:09 I mean, if they don't have a gun, it gives them security.
00:29:11 Now, you need them for entertainment.
00:29:13 You need them for hunting.
00:29:14 You need them for a lot of different things.
00:29:15 But there are people that if they didn't have the privilege of having a gun in some form,
00:29:24 many of them would not be alive today.
00:29:25 You know, there's a certain country that had a very strict policy on guns, very, very strict.
00:29:30 Which country?
00:29:31 Brazil.
00:29:32 OK.
00:29:33 Brazil.
00:29:34 Very strict.
00:29:35 And the former president of Brazil's -- and the killing was incredible.
00:29:40 They were walking into people's homes and killing people.
00:29:43 They had no protection.
00:29:44 He said, go out and buy guns.
00:29:45 People went out and bought guns.
00:29:46 And it went way down.
00:29:47 The numbers went way down because they had security.
00:29:50 If you look at Chicago, Chicago has the single toughest gun policies in the nation.
00:29:56 They are so tough, you can't breathe.
00:29:58 New York, too, and other places also.
00:30:00 All of those places are the worst and most dangerous places.
00:30:04 So that's not the answer.
00:30:05 No new restrictions that you would sign if reelected, Mr. President.
00:30:08 I want you to meet Julie Miles, a registered nurse from Merrimack.
00:30:11 She's a Republican who voted for you in 2020.
00:30:13 Julie, what's your question for the president?
00:30:15 Thank you, Mr. President.
00:30:16 Thank you.
00:30:17 I appreciate you answering this question this evening.
00:30:19 How do you plan to appeal to women voters in New Hampshire who are concerned about the
00:30:23 Dobbs decision and how states may change their laws?
00:30:26 It's such a great question.
00:30:27 And it was such a great victory.
00:30:29 And people are starting to understand it now.
00:30:33 You know that they wanted to bring it back to the states, but that was probably the least
00:30:36 important part of that victory.
00:30:39 Getting rid of Roe v. Wade was an incredible thing for pro-life because it gave pro-life
00:30:45 something to negotiate with.
00:30:46 Pro-life had absolutely nothing being stuck in Roe v. Wade to negotiate with.
00:30:51 And now what's happening, and I see it all over, deals are being made, deals are going
00:30:55 to be made.
00:30:57 And look, everybody that was president wanted to get rid and tried to get rid of Roe v.
00:31:03 Wade.
00:31:04 You mean Republicans?
00:31:05 Republicans.
00:31:06 For 50 years, this has been going on.
00:31:09 Actually a couple of Democrats, too.
00:31:10 But for 50 years, this has been going on.
00:31:13 I was able to do it and I was very honored to do it.
00:31:16 But by doing it, things are happening that are very, very positive.
00:31:20 And you have to I happen to believe in the exceptions, the life of the mother, rape,
00:31:24 incest, like Ronald Reagan believed in the exceptions.
00:31:27 But I happen to believe that.
00:31:28 I think it I think it's frankly important to do that.
00:31:31 But a lot of people are, you know, against that a relatively small, relatively small
00:31:36 number.
00:31:37 But the way I look, I think it's very important to say this.
00:31:40 I consider the other side to be radical because the other side under Roe v. Wade and other
00:31:45 things, the other side, they're radical because they will remember the debate with Hillary
00:31:50 Clinton.
00:31:51 I said rip the baby out of the womb at the end of the ninth month.
00:31:54 They will kill the baby in the ninth month.
00:31:57 If you look at that crazy governor of Virginia from the former governor, where he said, no,
00:32:02 the baby will be born and then we'll decide essentially whether or not to execute.
00:32:06 But Mr. President, can we talk about what you would do if these are the radical people?
00:32:09 It's not the pro-life people that are out.
00:32:11 But if you are reelected and you're back in the Oval Office and you get legislation to
00:32:14 your desk, would you sign a federal abortion ban into law?
00:32:18 What I'll do is negotiate so that people are happy.
00:32:21 But the fact that we were able I was able I'm so proud of it.
00:32:24 We put three great justices on the Supreme Court.
00:32:26 We have almost 300 federal judges.
00:32:29 So you just to be clear, just to be clear, Mr. President, you you would sign a federal
00:32:35 abortion ban.
00:32:36 And I said this.
00:32:37 I said this.
00:32:38 I want to do what's right.
00:32:39 And we're looking and we want to do what's right for everybody.
00:32:42 What's right now for the first time, the people that are pro-life have negotiating capability
00:32:49 because you didn't have it before.
00:32:51 They could kill the baby in the ninth month or after the baby was born.
00:32:55 Now they won't be able to do that.
00:32:56 This is a really important question for you to answer, because this is something every
00:33:00 Republican, including those who are running against you for the nomination, are being
00:33:04 asked about is would you sign a federal abortion ban into law?
00:33:07 And many of them are going to give you the same answer as I am.
00:33:10 First of all, I am honored to have done what I did.
00:33:13 And a lot of people said they said in 150 years, he's now the most consequential president
00:33:19 because he saved so many lives.
00:33:21 And I'm honored to have done.
00:33:26 And because of what I've done, we now have a great negotiating ability.
00:33:29 It's what I do in life.
00:33:30 I negotiate.
00:33:31 We have a great negotiating ability.
00:33:33 And I think we're going to be able to get negotiating ability, because the question
00:33:36 that Republicans have and some of your allies on Capitol Hill said they want to introduce
00:33:41 legislation when it comes to banning abortion.
00:33:43 If they send it to your desk, would you sign it?
00:33:46 Some people are at six weeks.
00:33:48 Some people are at three weeks.
00:33:49 Where is President Trump?
00:33:50 President Trump is going to make a determination what he thinks is great for the country and
00:33:55 what's fair for the country.
00:33:57 But the fact that I was able to terminate Roe v. Wade after 50 years of trying, they
00:34:02 worked for 50 years.
00:34:03 I've never seen anything like it.
00:34:05 They worked -- and I was even -- I was so honored to have done it.
00:34:08 We are in a very good negotiating position right now only because of what I was able
00:34:13 to do.
00:34:14 And remember this.
00:34:15 Again, you talk about radicalism.
00:34:18 People that will kill a baby in the ninth month or the eighth month or the seventh month
00:34:23 or after the baby is born, they're the radicals, not the pro-leftists.
00:34:27 (APPLAUSE)
00:34:28 I just want to give you -- I just want to give you one more chance, though, because
00:34:29 you did not answer whether or not you'd sign a federal abortion ban or how many weeks into
00:34:36 pregnancy you believe abortion should be banned.
00:34:39 Can you answer either of those tonight?
00:34:40 Yeah, but I've given you -- I've given you the answer probably four times already.
00:34:42 Which one is it, though?
00:34:43 You haven't answered?
00:34:44 I'm looking -- I'm looking at a solution that's going to work.
00:34:46 Very complex issue for the country.
00:34:48 You have people on both sides of an issue.
00:34:50 But we are now in a very strong position -- pro-life people are in a strong position to make a
00:34:55 deal that's going to be good and going to be satisfactory for them.
00:34:58 If you weren't able to get rid of -- you wouldn't even be having a discussion if you weren't
00:35:02 able to get rid of Roe v. Wade, which put pro-life in a dead position, a horrible position.
00:35:08 They could kill the baby at any time they wanted to.
00:35:11 But we did something that nobody thought was doable.
00:35:14 And other Republican presidents -- and others, by the way -- they wanted to get it out.
00:35:18 They also wanted to bring it back to the states.
00:35:20 But bringing it back to the states is a less important issue than the issue that we just
00:35:24 talked about.
00:35:25 But that's why it's the question about a federal abortion ban.
00:35:26 You did not say yes or no to that.
00:35:27 You did not say how many weeks.
00:35:28 It depends what the deal is.
00:35:29 Lindsey Graham is a good man.
00:35:30 You did not say how many weeks.
00:35:31 He's got an idea.
00:35:32 And a lot of other people have an idea.
00:35:34 And I look at all the different ideas.
00:35:35 And a lot of people will be curious what your idea is on that.
00:35:36 And I'll make the right decision.
00:35:38 President Trump, we've got more questions to come for you tonight.
00:35:41 We'll be right back in just a moment.
