00:00 boxing world before but she has had over a hundred and five fights you know mixed
00:04 with Muay Thai, kickboxing and bare knuckle. She is the bare knuckle boxing
00:09 championship for the female division here in Thailand. She is going up against
00:15 Kulanok from Thailand who is making her professional boxing debut
00:20 however she has got a Muay Thai boxing background and she has got a gold medal
00:24 from the CFC Muay Thai in Vietnam as well. I'm excited to see this one Kulanok
00:30 representing Thailand in the red and then Fanny Palumpi representing
00:35 Greece in the blue. Now when I was speaking with Fanny before she said one
00:42 of her favorite fighters are a lot of the fighters that think a lot you know
00:45 Buakaw, Senchai, Nong Er all of these legend of the sport. Fanny is a
00:51 legend here in Thailand I would say I mean she is a fantastic fighter she has
00:55 got the BKFC belt she beat Suri's Manfredi in just a fantastic war
01:01 which you can go see on YouTube so yeah Fanny has been in this ring several
01:04 several times before but again Kulanok is representing Rin Muay Thai
01:08 which is a fantastic gym and also KC in Chaiapum. A nice big right hand by
01:16 Kulanok.
01:20 Fanny's a very very intelligent fighter doesn't usually rush into anything
01:24 thinks about everything that she is doing everything is very calculated as
01:29 you can see there she's dodging all the shots both fighters taking their time on
01:33 this four-round fight and both fighters landing some nice flurries in the center
01:42 of the ring. Fanny looks like she's throwing a lot of jabs to the body maybe
01:46 trying to set up a big headshot later on in the fight but both fighters look very
01:51 calm and it looks like Fanny is looking to counter Kulanok as she walks in.
01:58 A nice lead hook landed by Kulanok as well the ref telling him to
02:07 fight however I don't think the ref realizes that these fighters are
02:10 actually trying to get information from each other they're both fainting trying
02:13 to get a little bit of movement from the fighter so I don't usually like telling
02:17 fighters to fight I like unless they're running away which they're not.
02:22 10 seconds to go.
02:24 It's a nice head movement by Kulanok just getting underneath the shot of
02:29 Fanny and that was a very close round. Not a lot of shots were being landed but
02:35 a lot of information was being downloaded by both opponents so again
02:39 even when shots are not being landed something is still going on in both of
02:43 these opponents minds. They're slightly edging towards their opponent they're
02:48 getting little flinches trying to get some movement they're using lots of
02:52 feints they want to see what their opponent would do if they threw a jab so
02:57 what they do is they pretend to throw a jab and try and get some information
03:00 from their opponent. So yeah Fanny Paluppi she has been in that ring several
03:07 several times over a hundred and five professional fights 17 in amateur she
03:14 said for this fight she's been working a lot more on her cardio and power I mean
03:18 this is a four-round fight with a lots of lots of intensity as well boxing is a
03:22 completely different sport you need to train for it very differently so yes she
03:26 does have a Muay Thai background but again the way you move in boxing is
03:29 completely different. Fanny was supposed to actually fight internationally to
03:35 defend her BKFC belt on several occasions however a lot of complications
03:39 happen so you will be seeing Fanny fighting around the world representing
03:43 her BKFC title so keep an eye out for Fanny but again Kulana Anok
03:49 representing Thailand a pro boxing debut she said one of her favorite
03:54 fighters is Tank Jitamonkorn she said I really like his deadly style.
04:03 Kulana Anok has fought Muay Thai and Super Champ and she's also fought on the
04:07 RWS Stadium so Kulana has been everywhere in Thailand and fought on all of the main
04:13 stages already so this may be their pro boxing debut but again she's been in
04:18 this ring several several times. Round number two underway.
04:26 Both fighters a little bit more aggressive now and Fanny looks a little
04:30 bit off balance when she gets hit by that shot.
04:34 Kulana Anok representing Thailand in the red shorts and Fanny Palumpi
04:41 representing Greece in the black shorts and the blue trim.
04:47 Kulana representing Rin Muay Thai, Fanny Palumpi representing the Venom Muay Thai gym
04:56 in Pattaya and a nice lead hook by Kulana Anok. Kulana Anok is landing some
05:03 more clean shots against Fanny which a lot of people did not expect a lot of
05:07 people expected Fanny to just walk through Kulana. But again Fanny does like
05:14 to take her time and just pick her shots with a nice jab. She's a good
05:18 counter puncher and as soon as Kulana is coming in Fanny is landing some
05:23 nice combinations as well. Very nice movement by both of these fighters so
05:32 again they may be new to professional boxing but they have been in the boxing
05:36 ring several several times in Muay Thai, kickboxing, bare knuckle. A nice jab
05:43 landed by Kulana Anok. Kulana Anok needs to throw more combinations she's
05:49 landing with a jab but doing nothing else with it she needs to throw a double
05:52 jab and then a right hand and a nice shot landed by Fanny. Fanny has got the
06:00 reach she needs to use that to her advantage. Keep on the back foot and for
06:05 lots and lots of jabs.
06:08 Both fighters circling each other and a nice combination landed by Fanny. Again
06:19 Fanny throwing some nice combinations leaning back thinking about every shot
06:23 and that is end of round number two. Now the first round was very close but I
06:32 think that second round was taken by Fanny. I think she landed a lot of clean
06:36 shots. Let's see some of the fight replays. Look at that fantastic look at
06:40 the hand speed the camera can barely keep up with how fast those hands are. So as
06:47 you can see Fanny is going for the counter punch strategy. She's trying to
06:52 bait her opponent in with a jab and then throws a counter punch as soon as her
06:56 opponent leans in and there it is again.
07:01 So I think Fanny is now finding her timing and her rhythm and like we said
07:05 in the first round Fanny is just trying to find her timing trying to use lots of
07:11 fence and trying to understand her opponent and Kulana Anok is used to
07:15 fighting in Muay Thai so she's used to taking the first round off and relaxing
07:19 and then usually gets more active in the later rounds. So the third round for
07:24 both of these Muay Thai style fighters should be very exciting.
07:29 Fanny's only loss in professional boxing was against Michelle Preston in 2017 so
07:43 again that was such a long time ago that Fanny hasn't had a chance to actually be
07:46 in the professional boxing area. She has fought a lot in BKFC which obviously is
07:51 boxing but without the gloves and Fanny holds the belt which she took from
07:56 Suri Manfredi and the interesting thing is they both fought again in MMA and
08:02 Suri won that fight in MMA. Some shots of our audience right now waiting for this
08:10 fight to get underway. Fanny always looks cool calm and collected like nothing
08:17 fazes her. Kulana Anok is the exact same just looks like she's enjoying herself
08:22 dancing her way to the ring. Round number three underway we've got Fanny Peloupi
08:28 representing Greece in the black and the blue and we've got Kulana Anok
08:32 representing Thailand in the red from Rin Muay Thai gym. A nice uppercut landed by
08:41 Fanny and Fanny needs to throw more combinations put them together.
08:48 Anok looking for that lead left hook as well.
08:59 Kulana Anok is just walking forward to Fanny. Now Fanny is a counter puncher so
09:05 in order to be a counter puncher you need to use a lot more feints. Kulana Anok
09:11 cannot simply just walk towards Fanny and expect to win she needs to use a lot
09:15 of feints. Set it up with a jab go to the body keep your opponent guessing.
09:22 Kulana Anok needs to bait Fanny into throwing some punches as a counter but
09:28 again Fanny has now found her rhythm and landed a nice double jab.
09:33 Both fighters in the clinch the ref breaks them telling them to keep their heads up.
09:42 Fanny looks very focused but so does Kulana Anok and a nice right hand by Kulana.
09:49 But Fanny is just teeing off on the head both fighters trading.
09:55 Kulana Anok just lands a nice right hand down the pipe and hits Fanny on the chin but
10:04 keeps putting her head down the ref will tell us to stop doing that. If Fanny reads
10:09 this well Fanny will for a big uppercut.
10:13 Ten seconds to go of the third round and Fanny looks like she's found her time and
10:22 just landed a four-piece combination and another one. What a fantastic way to end
10:27 that round three I think Fanny has now found her timing and is winning this fight.
10:31 Now if Kulana wants to come out and win this fight she needs to be a little bit
10:43 more active let's see a fight replay here. So Anok did very well just
10:49 taking the fight to Fanny but again she needs to do more of that in the round.
10:56 Look at that jab by Fanny constantly throwing it out and again Fanny with the
11:02 stepping back combinations some fantastic counter punching going on and
11:07 there is the co-promoter of Evolution Fight Series.
11:16 Fanny is representing Venom Muay Thai gym in Pattaya and has got an absolute legend in
11:21 her corner in the Muay Thai world. Kulana Anok representing Thailand and the Rin
11:26 Muay Thai gym. I think Fanny is now just taking this victory and we have got one
11:35 more round to go. If Kulana wants the win she needs to take it to Fanny
11:42 she needs to get her in the corner or against the ropes and just throw whatever
11:47 she has. Fanny is a nice tall counter punching style fighter in order to beat
11:54 somebody like that you need to set up a lot of fence and bait your opponent into
11:59 throwing counters that don't exist. Once they throw that counter then you need to
12:02 pounce on your opponent but I'm not sure if Kulana has it in her to win this
12:07 fight but again this is boxing one punch can change the outcome.
12:13 Both fighters ready to go. Fourth and final round. Kulana Anok in the red
12:27 representing Thailand and Rin Muay Thai gym. Fanny in the blue representing Greece and
12:32 Venom Muay Thai gym.
12:35 Both fighters in the center of the ring both landed big shots both trading jabs
12:46 and landing at the same time. A nice right hand landed by Kulana Anok.
12:54 Fanny needs to throw some more jabs and a nice combination landed by Fanny.
13:04 Looks like Fanny is looking to catch her opponent as she's walking in.
13:15 Fanny still looks like she's got a lot of energy and Kulana looks like she's
13:23 trying to pretend she's got a lot of energy but not really doing anything
13:25 with it. This is the fourth and final round you need to prove that you want to
13:29 win this fight. Fanny's Kulana telling her you need to go you need to keep
13:37 pressing. I'm very impressed with these two fighters who are mainly Muay Thai
13:46 fighters and now in the professional boxing industry. They're representing the
13:55 sport very well. Some nice combinations landed by Fanny and Kulana is just
14:00 charging forward. I think Kulana has ran out of ideas on how to beat this long
14:09 style by Fanny and a nice jab in the face.
14:14 Kulana Anok needs to make this fight a little bit dirty. Ten seconds to go. A
14:19 nice hook landed to Fanny but I think just not enough. A very nice fight for
14:28 the Kerr main event. On my own official scorecard I would have given that one to
14:34 Fanny. I think she just dominated at least three rounds then probably all
14:38 four of them but again Kulana Anok didn't go down to any shots. Let's see
14:42 some fight replays. She almost knocked Fanny back with some shots off balance.
14:50 Some nice jabs by Fanny landing and getting underneath the shots and throwing
15:01 a combination by Fanny and that was where Kulana Anok had a very good
15:05 moment. She pressed Fanny against the ropes.
