Marjan Island Resort, UAE

During one of my Dubai trips for Choppershoot.com, we spent a day flying around some of the luxury resorts on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah UAE. One of the resorts, the Hilton Double Tree, happens to be the single biggest hotel in the middle east with 700+ rooms, and the second resort, Rixos, gets close with 600+ rooms. Both resorts are pure luxury, with countless outdoor and indoor pools, playgrounds, watersports and huge private beaches.
We were not lucky with the weather, since it's normally sunny 95% of the time and we managed to catch that one overcast day. Especially the high winds made the shoot quite difficult at some point and forced me to use the bigger drones for a lot of these shots. But in the end the client is happy with the results and so am I. The final edit of this footage combined with some DJI Inspire footage has been published on the Marjan Resort website and social media. Go check that out if you're curious!
