00:00 Hey everyone, today I've done a date night hair and makeup tutorial for you guys.
00:12 It's something really sort of glitzy and girly and I just love this kind of makeup.
00:16 So if you'd like to see how I got from left to right, then just keep watching.
00:22 Starting with a tapered blending brush, I'm using the shade Sunset from the Stila in the
00:27 light palette.
00:28 I'm using this as my transition shade, so I'm using a big fluffy brush to just get it
00:31 all into my crease.
00:32 Now I'm going in with a gorgeous shade, Bubbly.
00:35 I'm just packing this on my eye just for a bit of sparkle.
00:46 Now using the shade Sandstone, I'm just going to place this into my crease just to darken
00:50 up the look and create a bit more depth into the eye itself.
00:54 But I'm not going to go too harsh because I don't want this to end up being another
00:57 smoky eye.
01:00 I'm now placing that same shade on the outer part of my eye.
01:22 Now with the shade Kitten, I'm just going to place this in my inner eye area.
01:26 I think it's the tear duct area, but I always say the wrong word.
01:29 This just helps to open up the eye a bit and I just think it's really pretty.
01:32 I'm just going to curl my eyelashes and apply a coat of mascara.
01:35 I'm using the Essence I Love Extreme Crazy Boy Mascara.
01:41 And once again with Kitten, I'm just going to use this as my brow bone highlight.
01:45 It just helps to open up your whole eye and I think it just completes the eye look altogether.
01:51 Now taking some makeup remover, I'm using the Micellar Cleansing Water.
02:01 So I'm just going to use this to erase any fallout I've had from my eyeshadow and just
02:06 create a crisp, straight, clear, nice line.
02:10 If you know what I mean.
02:11 So now I'm just applying some falsies.
02:16 This is of course optional, but this is just what I like to do.
02:24 Time for foundation.
02:25 I'm using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush with my Double Wear Estee Lauder Foundation
02:29 and I'm just going to pop this onto my face and then buff it in with my favorite brush
02:34 at the moment.
02:35 I love the buffing brush.
02:38 What is your favorite brush for foundation?
02:40 Because I cannot find anything better than this.

02:57 Now I'm using the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer just to clean up all the mess from underneath
03:01 my eyes.
03:02 I'm just going to dab this on and then use a sponge to dab it out.
03:08 I'll blend it out, but you can see what I'm doing.
03:17 Now returning back to the eyes, I'm using Sandstone and I'm going to put this on my
03:21 lower lash line.
03:22 I'm doing this after the concealer just because it's a bit more dramatic once it's on after
03:27 you've cleaned it up, if that makes any sense.
03:30 And then using Kitten, I'm just going to pack this on my T-Ducks once again just to brighten
03:36 up the whole look.
03:41 So now I'm just applying some more mascara to my bottom lashes.
03:45 I always do this after my concealer so there's no more cleaning mess and all that kind of
03:50 stuff.
03:51 So I'm just going to put it on my bottom lashes and help to just bring a bit more drama to
03:54 the look.
03:55 So now with my Hoola Bronzer by Benefit, I'm just going to place this onto my cheekbones
04:01 and I've angled the brush upwards.
04:03 So I'm trying to blend it upwards into my temples and then a little bit on my forehead.
04:09 Now using, I believe it's Rocateur Blush from Benefit, I'm just going to put this on the
04:14 same brush and put this on the apples of my cheeks.
04:21 Oh my god, this product.
04:25 I just bought Soft and Gentle by MAC and it's incredible.
04:30 Just look at, oh, it's amazing.
04:33 I love it.
04:34 So I'm just using this as my highlight.
04:36 I've only just recently been starting using this.
04:38 I bought this about a week ago and I'm in love with it.
04:42 It's now my favorite, favorite, favorite highlighter.
04:45 So I'm putting some on my Cupid's bow and down my nose.
04:47 So using Lady Danger from MAC, I'm just going to pop this onto my lips.
04:51 It's a very cool red tone.
04:54 It's almost got a hint of orange in it and I'm loving this shade.
05:00 And now it is definitely time to sort out this hair.

05:26 And so firstly, I'm just using the Truffle products in my hair, running it through with
05:29 my fingers.
05:30 This product makes my hair very soft and smooth and it can be used as an anti-frizz
05:35 serum, heat protectant, and it's also good to just add shine to your hair.
05:39 And now it's time to pop on the gloves and get started.
05:43 So firstly, of course, I'm just going to clip the top half section of my hair behind my
05:48 ears and just concentrate on my bottom bits of hair first, if that makes sense.
05:55 So I've heated up to 200 Celsius.
05:57 I'm just going to wrap it around the curler and I like to approach the hair from the back.
06:03 So I like to just wrap it around the curl with my arm behind my head and start at the
06:06 back.
06:07 And then once I let go, I just squeeze it all together and then drop the curls to create
06:12 a very loose effect.
06:18 So as you can see, I'm just repeating this in different sections.
06:21 I like to keep my sections quite thick because I don't like really tight curls.
06:25 I'm into more like the loose curls.
06:26 So this is the difference that it's made and I haven't even brushed it through or anything.
06:30 It's incredible.
06:31 So I'm just going to take out my hair and concentrate on the top part.
06:37 Once again, I'm just going to brush everything through and throw back the curled bits that
06:41 I've already done.
06:42 And I'm loving how healthy and shiny my hair looks whenever I go out after using this.
06:46 It's amazing.
06:47 So for the very front part of my hair, I make sure that I'm curling it away from my face.
07:00 So I wrap it around like this on an angle.
07:03 It gives it a lot more volume I find.
07:05 It just gives a lot more bounce and I really like it.
07:08 And I'm just going to tease my hair and we are done.
