00:34 Portuguese police will be conducting it. British
00:36 officials will be monitoring it. But is this all being
00:39 prompted because of the latest news that woman who came out
00:43 saying that she was Madeline McCann was later debunked is
00:45 there any connection to that bringing a new attention or
00:49 renewed attention to the story.
00:50 >> That's a very good question of all 7 good morning and good
00:54 afternoon here in the UK on this quite sobering time this
00:57 morning. I'm just going to start with the first thing I
00:59 want to say is that I think it's blowing up the news as we
01:02 speak and there are developments coming in a
01:04 minute by minute. No it's not linked to do this thing of the
01:08 go claiming to be Madeline McCann. She was just a poor
01:12 unfortunate person that was looking for attention and
01:16 looking to obviously gain what she could have that situation
01:19 that this is story this is
01:21 not linked to that in any way shape or form as you said they
01:25 are placing best to get the disappearance of the can say
01:27 that they've had certain tips up to pops in the last few hours
01:32 here in the UK as well and some breaking news to give you the
01:35 Metropolitan police have just released a statement and said
01:38 they have traveled to Portugal to watch. So they can inform
01:41 Madeline McCann family of any updates why they search this
01:45 part of the reservoir now this is all linked to the prime
01:49 suspect in the case Christian Brooke now he was in the area
01:53 where Madeline can went missing 16 years ago, there are phone
01:57 records. I didn't buy that he could be in around the time
01:59 that she went missing and he said that he was in the camp
02:02 and he denies any involvement.
02:03 But yeah, it's very sobering time at the moment, but I just
02:07 want to say it's not linked to any way shape or form to the
02:09 goal to claim that she could possibly be back in the cat a
02:12 couple of months ago, even though that did get the media
02:15 attention. Here this is I think completely separate from from
02:19 that this is something that.
02:22 >> Interesting timing, a very interesting timing because I
02:24 did I just talked to you about that story and you're able to
02:27 enter that woman, but as far as this suspect you mentioned
02:31 Bruckner police are saying that yes, Christian land not water
02:34 he's never been charged this man, but he's a convicted sex
02:37 offender.
02:38 >> Correct so Christian Brock knows County serving time in
02:42 prison for breaking a 72 year-old woman around the same
02:46 area that nothing the camera missing. And German prosecutors
02:51 are trying to link him to the mud in the county case because
02:53 German prosecutors are convinced that he is the one
02:57 that obviously took much of the kind of way and unfortunately
03:01 murder test of German prosecutors and you know the
03:03 Portuguese authorities do you believe that much of the kind
03:07 of has sadly passed away and she's been murdered and she
03:10 could potentially be in this reservoir now from my own
03:13 personal as it's looking into story as well. German
03:16 prosecutor Christian Walter said that they can't disclose
03:20 any background at the moment, but they have received certain
03:22 tip-offs and my gut instinct is telling me that we're going to
03:26 get something within the next few hours or the next few days
03:28 and very sad time for the muck and the county family as well
03:32 came during the camp because I had to be a scene out to the
03:35 window, whatever she claims and I was coming out and saying
03:39 that she potentially could be not limit and not blowing up
03:41 social media and then blowing up the news we now put this
03:44 blowing up the news as well. But this is more sobering and
03:47 this is more, you know, it's a very sad time for the muck and
03:50 the county family and for anybody that's part of the
03:52 story of the last 16 years as well.
03:54 >> Yeah, quite some time to not have closure, Kate and Jerry
03:58 holding on hope at the same time if they have indeed found
04:01 this little girls remains it would mean for them at least
04:04 some way of closing this chapter as far as the
04:07 investigation.
04:08 >> They also start to interrupt you they are focusing the
04:10 search on the ground at the moment as you said, the latest
04:15 news is coming to 20 offices, a current 20 police officers
04:18 currently digging beside the site the reservoir in Portugal
04:21 and they're pushing police there as well so it's a
04:24 developing story as we speak so you know we could sit here and
04:29 speculate, you know what the outcome might be, but it is an
04:32 ongoing investigation and I think it's important just to
04:34 stick to those facts and to be careful of people like
04:37 junior, 15 or junior Wendell he will be coming out to try and
04:40 link themselves to this story as well like I've always said
04:43 with I do hope that she does get the support that she needs
04:47 but this is the time where we just need to look at the facts
04:49 and see what's coming through with the story because like I
04:53 said in my gut feeling I think that we could be reaching a
04:55 conclusion of the biggest.
