Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, expressed his vision for creating an artificial intelligence (AI) business to compete with Google and Microsoft. During The Wall Street Journal's CEO Council Summit in London, Musk hinted at the possibility of involving Twitter, which he acquired last year, in this endeavor. Musk also mentioned the potential profitability of Twitter, stating that the company could become cash-flow positive as early as next month. He highlighted the use of AI in Tesla's advanced driver-assistance features and suggested that Twitter and Tesla could partner with an AI company, similar to Microsoft's relationship with OpenAI. Musk also emphasized SpaceX's long-term goal of establishing a self-sustaining city on Mars and expressed his intention to travel to space with the company at some point in the future.
