00:26 so I'm not gonna do too much of an intro
00:28 and get right into it.
00:29 I get asked a lot about what products I recommend
00:33 from the drugstore, what products I like from the drugstore,
00:35 and kind of all those burning questions.
00:37 So I'm gonna talk about what I like from the drugstore
00:40 and what I would recommend to you guys.
00:42 I also might be able to incorporate some of these things
00:44 into a starter makeup kit,
00:45 things that you might not have used before
00:47 and if it's your first time using makeup,
00:49 these are the things that I would recommend.
00:50 So I'm gonna go through this in the order of
00:53 like face, eyes, lips, 'cause that's kind of
00:56 the simplest thing.
00:57 And the first thing I'm gonna talk about is primer.
00:59 I only recommend two primers from the drugstore
01:01 and these are both from L'Oreal.
01:02 One is the Nude Magic Blur Cream
01:04 and the other one is the L'Oreal Lumi Magic.
01:07 And I find that both of these prolong the wear of my makeup
01:11 and they don't make my makeup sink into pores
01:13 or anything like that and I really recommend them.
01:15 For foundation, I usually only reach for two.
01:17 First one being my True Match Foundation
01:19 from L'Oreal Paris and the second one being
01:22 my Revlon Colorstay in oily combination.
01:25 They're the only two foundations I reach for,
01:26 they're the only two foundations that I find
01:28 that I repurchase and repurchase and repurchase.
01:31 They're the only two foundations that I would recommend.
01:33 So for concealer, now I think that the drugstore
01:35 is actually a great place to get concealer
01:37 because they do have a lot of good branded concealers
01:40 and these three would be my all-time favorite.
01:42 So the Maybelline Fit Me, which I've talked about
01:45 tons of times before, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
01:50 and the newest one to my collection
01:52 and I think my favorite of the three
01:53 is the concealer from True Match from L'Oreal Paris
01:57 and my color is in vanilla.
01:58 And I've used it today and I use it a lot of the time.
02:01 I just think that they are the best concealers,
02:03 they give the best lasting power
02:04 and they don't crease as much under the eye
02:07 and that's exactly where I want to wear them.
02:08 Next I'm gonna talk about powder
02:10 and the only two powders that I recommend for your face
02:13 are the e.l.f. Under Eye Setting Powder,
02:15 which is a loose powder and it has
02:17 light reflecting particles in it.
02:19 So it's really great at highlighting underneath your eye,
02:21 brightening up that area and I absolutely love this
02:25 and I have reused this and repurchased this to death.
02:29 The second thing I recommend is the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
02:32 I always have this in an empties video.
02:35 I continuously have this in my collection.
02:38 I've repurchased about 30 of these in my life.
02:40 I absolutely love it.
02:42 Next up are bronzers and I recommend two.
02:45 The one of them is the NYC Sunny Bronzer.
02:48 It's just a gorgeous bronzer.
02:49 And the second one is from L'Oreal Paris,
02:51 it's called Brunette Harmony.
02:52 So they're the two bronzers that I recommend.
02:54 The reason why I recommend them is because
02:56 number one, they're not shimmery
02:58 and number two, they're not sheer.
02:59 So they're great for contouring your face.
03:01 I used this one today to contour.
03:03 I just think that they have really great lasting power.
03:06 I'm gonna talk about this bronzer a little bit more
03:08 because the next one, the next thing I wanna recommend
03:10 is highlighters and the only one I like from the drugstore
03:12 is this highlighter, believe it or not,
03:14 and it looks like that.
03:15 And I'll just swatch it on the back of my hand.
03:17 You can see it there, kinda glistening away.
03:19 The only one that I recommend from the drugstore
03:21 because I think it is the only one worth talking about.
03:24 I usually don't go for drugstore highlighters
03:27 because I find that they lack in pigmentation
03:30 and usually they kinda just look just really, really
03:33 shimmery and they end up making you look a bit oily.
03:35 But I think this one just does a great kinda sheen
03:38 on the skin.
03:39 It gives you just the right amount of luminosity
03:41 and it's not kind of like oily looking on your skin.
03:44 So next I'm gonna talk about blushers
03:45 and for me, hands down, the best blushers are from Sleek
03:49 and they look like this.
03:49 So that's just one of them there for instance.
03:51 Like I mean, look at the pigmentation in that.
03:53 This one's called Flamingo.
03:54 The other one that I have in my collection
03:56 is called Rose Gold and they look like that.
03:58 They're both very, very, very pretty.
04:00 Rose Gold reminds me a lot of Nars' Orgasm
04:02 and look how pigmented they are.
04:04 Like just look at that.
04:05 It's super pigmented.
04:08 Like look at that from a blush.
04:10 That is just crazy pigmentation.
04:12 You gotta be careful with these blushers
04:14 'cause like I said, they're very pigmented.
04:16 So just a little bit of this goes a long way.
04:17 Another blush product I recommend is from NYX.
04:20 These are so inexpensive and they look like that
04:23 and look how bright that is.
04:25 Look at it.
04:26 So bright, super, super bright.
04:27 I'm running out of places to swatch.
04:29 That's it there.
04:30 It looks really, really bright.
04:31 I also recommend just for convenience purposes
04:34 is also the BH Cosmetics Blush Palette
04:37 and there's 10 different blushes in this
04:39 so there's tons of choice and these are really great.
04:42 They're pigmented and they're just really creamy
04:45 and they're just really nice blushes.
04:47 I think they're about eight euro, nine euro.
04:49 I think maybe 12.
04:50 I'm not really sure.
04:51 So for brow products, I only recommend two.
04:53 The first one being the ELF Eyebrow Kit.
04:55 It comes with a powder and a wax
04:57 and if you watch my channel from the beginning,
04:59 I have gone through I think two of these maybe
05:02 in the life that I've been on YouTube.
05:03 So two in a year and a half.
05:05 So I just think that it is something great
05:07 to have in your collection.
05:08 They come in like I think four different colors
05:10 so there's something for everybody
05:12 and they're under a fiver.
05:13 The next brow product I recommend from the drugstore
05:15 is from L'Oreal Paris and this is the Brow Artist Plumper.
05:19 I always forget about this.
05:20 I don't know why but every time I use it,
05:22 I love it so much.
05:23 It comes in a little tiny little wand like that
05:26 and you just brush it through your eyebrows
05:29 and it puts back in place any eyebrows
05:31 that are going astray and it also coats any eyebrow hair
05:34 that you may have missed with your powder,
05:36 fills in areas that are sparse
05:38 and it sets your eyebrows as well.
05:40 Like not like crazy set like these hard stuck on eyebrows
05:43 but it just sets them in a nice way
05:45 and I just think this is a great product.
05:46 My bases are a difficult thing to get right
05:49 in the drugstore.
05:50 I find that there's very little choice
05:51 and also I find that the things that you do use
05:54 don't perform very well.
05:55 Like I mean they crease and they're just not long,
05:58 they don't have a longevity.
05:59 The products that I recommend for bases
06:01 are these color tattoos from Maybelline
06:04 and I have a few colors there.
06:06 I just find that these are amazing bases
06:08 and I use them constantly.
06:10 They're hugely pigmented.
06:11 For instance, I'll show you the green one here.
06:13 This is called Edgy Emerald it's called
06:16 and just look at that there.
06:17 It's just great pigmentation
06:19 and they're really, really, really nice.
06:20 So affordable and they're everywhere as well.
06:22 You know, that's a bonus, Jonas.
06:24 For eye shadows I recommend these guys.
06:26 These are the L'Oreal Infallibles.
06:28 These guys are amazing.
06:30 I just have three here to show you.
06:32 So I'm gonna show you the green shadow
06:33 because I love it so much.
06:34 This one is called Permanent Khaki
06:37 and it looks like that.
06:38 You can see that they're glistening away on my finger
06:40 and we'll just swatch it here.
06:42 Like look at it, it's so pigmented
06:44 and just has a gorgeous sheen off it.
06:45 They're all similar to that.
06:47 Like they're all really pigmented and really nice
06:49 and they also come in matte colors.
06:51 So one that I have in a matte color
06:53 is called Coconut Chic and it looks like that
06:55 and it's just a matte cream color
06:56 which I use underneath my brow bone.
06:58 You can get these on eBay, you can get them online.
07:00 Other eye shadows that I do love from the drugstore
07:02 are these things from Catrice.
07:04 These are the Liquid Metal.
07:06 I've tried a few of them but that's it there.
07:07 It's really, really shimmery.
07:09 These are the ones that I recommend the most from Catrice
07:12 'cause they're the most hyper pigmented.
07:14 Next for eyes, I recommend Sleek Cosmetics.
07:17 These are great little palettes.
07:19 There's like 10 shadows in each of them.
07:21 So this is just one of the palettes for instance
07:23 and this is called Storm Palette
07:26 and look at the shadows here.
07:27 So these are so buttery and creamy.
07:29 So you have a mixture of like matte and shimmery shades.
07:33 That's what they look like there.
07:34 They're super pigmented.
07:36 Let's just swatch them down here.
07:39 Look at that pigmentation, look at it.
07:41 But you get 12 in a palette and some, like I said,
07:43 they're a mixture of matte and a mixture of shimmery shades
07:45 and these are 10 euro.
07:48 I mean, how cheap is that for all those eyeshadows
07:51 and you can create tons of different looks.
07:52 I have, I think, about seven or eight of these palettes
07:55 and I bought these like two years ago, three years ago even
07:58 and I'm still using them today.
07:59 Final thing for eyes I wanna talk about are from Barry M
08:02 and these are their pigments and you can see them in there.
08:05 Do you know what, let's swatch this blue one here.
08:06 These are so pigmented.
08:08 I've used these in tutorials before
08:11 but I actually need to start breaking them out again.
08:13 So they look like that, that's just one of them.
08:15 Oh my God, ooh.
08:16 There we go, ah, look at, ah.
08:20 So that's it there.
08:21 A little bit of these goes a long way.
08:23 Always a special offer in Boots as well.
08:25 You get three for two and I recommend these
08:28 to anybody who likes loose shadows.
08:30 Next for eyeliners, I recommend two.
08:33 I recommend this one, this is from Maybelline.
08:35 This is a gel liner and it's just a black one.
08:37 I recommend that over all gel liners.
08:40 The second one I recommend is for those of you
08:42 who've been using eyeliner for a little bit longer.
08:44 It's a tricky little product to work with
08:45 when you first get it but it gives amazing results.
08:48 A really crisp, fine winged liner and it's from Collection.
08:51 This is a fast stroke eyeliner.
08:53 I used to use this so much and I've only now recently
08:56 started to kind of venture into different eyeliners
08:58 but I still go back to this, I love it.
09:00 For mascaras, L'Oreal all the way.
09:04 I don't recommend any other mascaras over L'Oreal.
09:07 These are just two of my favorites at the moment.
09:09 This is the Carbon Black L'Oreal Voluminous.
09:11 It's my favorite one, as you can see,
09:12 it's not even been opened.
09:14 I have backups and backups of these 'cause I love them.
09:17 I always pick them up when they're on special.
09:18 And the other one is, again, from L'Oreal Paris
09:21 and it is the Volumillium Soakture.
09:23 And I love this one at the moment.
09:25 It's the one in the purple tube.
09:26 The Miss Manga is another one from L'Oreal that's great
09:29 and the L'Oreal Telescopic is by far one of my favorites.
09:33 The last thing for eyes that I recommend are eyelashes
09:36 and these are from Allure.
09:38 These are my favorite eyelashes.
09:40 I have tried tons of lashes, expensive, cheap,
09:44 middle of the road, natural, synthetic, everything.
09:47 And I constantly go back to the Ardell ones.
09:49 I love the 113, the glamour ones,
09:52 and I love the Wispies and the Demi Wispies.
09:54 These company can do no wrong when it comes to eyelashes.
09:57 They're the most natural, they're the easiest to apply,
10:00 they have thin bands, you can get so many different
10:02 varieties, you can have dramatic or you can have subtle ones.
10:05 You can get lashes for nighttime, lashes for daytime.
10:07 I think that these are an incredible eyelash brand.
10:10 Next, I'm gonna move on to lips.
10:12 So my first thing I wanna talk about are lip liners
10:15 and I recommend Jordana lip liners.
10:17 You can buy Jordana on Beauty Joint.
10:19 You wanna get them online, you can't get them in Ireland.
10:21 Unfortunately, not yet.
10:23 Absolutely love Tawny lip liner,
10:25 it's one of my favorite ones.
10:26 It's a nudey pink type of color.
10:29 It's just my lips only better.
10:30 It's it there.
10:31 And Cabernet is one that I am reaching for a lot
10:35 and that's just it there.
10:36 It's just that real dark plum color.
10:37 They're so long lasting, really easy to apply.
10:40 The only thing I wish that they came with was,
10:42 you know the way some of them have
10:43 little sharpeners in the end?
10:44 I find that they lose their sharpness
10:46 and they become blunt very easily.
10:48 These are the ones I recommend.
10:49 And I also like Essence and Catrice lip liners.
10:52 Lipsticks, where do I start with lipsticks?
10:54 So many brands have amazing lipstick.
10:57 For me, the king of lipstick products from the drugstore
11:00 would have to be Maybelline.
11:02 I have to give it to Maybelline.
11:03 They do a fantastic job with the formulation
11:06 of these lipsticks.
11:07 I love their new nude shades that they have out.
11:10 This one here is Tantalizing Taupe.
11:12 It's just this gorgeous nude shade.
11:14 I don't know if you can see.
11:15 Oh, look at my arm.
11:16 Oh my God.
11:17 Hang on.
11:18 It's just there, over there.
11:19 I don't know if you can see that,
11:20 but it's a gorgeous nudey brown color
11:22 and it's just really natural on.
11:24 Another one I love is Feel Pink.
11:26 I have repurchased this to death.
11:28 I think I bought a couple of backups of it as well.
11:30 And that's it there.
11:31 And then I love these Vivids as well.
11:33 So one of them I have on my lips over a lip gloss
11:36 or under a lip gloss and that is this one here.
11:39 And I love it.
11:40 This one is called You Should Flash.
11:42 And then the other one is called Shocking Coral.
11:44 And I've done a tutorial with that as well.
11:46 I'll link that down below.
11:47 Another brand that does it all so right
11:49 when it comes to lip products is Rimmel.
11:51 And their lipsticks in particular
11:53 are their best lip products.
11:54 So I have four colors here just to show you
11:56 because there are four different ranges
11:58 and I like all the ranges.
11:59 The first range is the Moisture Renew lipsticks.
12:02 And this is Sloane's Plum that I have here.
12:05 And it's just this gorgeous dark plummy color.
12:07 So that's it there on my thumb.
12:08 They're kind of sheer but they're buildable colors
12:10 and I just think that that one is lovely.
12:12 Next one is the Matte Lipsticks from Kate Moss
12:14 and they are in the black label packaging.
12:16 And this one in particular is number 20
12:18 and it's just this gorgeous, beautiful color as well.
12:20 It kind of matches my lipstick too.
12:22 Then there's the red label Kate Moss which I like too.
12:24 This is number 101.
12:26 This is a gorgeous pink color.
12:28 It's quite popular actually at the moment
12:30 because Kylie Jenner's lip, you know,
12:32 that kind of lip color that Kylie Jenner is wearing.
12:34 And the last lipsticks are from
12:35 the Lasting Finish collection and I love these too.
12:38 And that one there is number 004 Indulgence.
12:41 So I'm just swatching it there and it is super pigmented.
12:44 Look at that there.
12:45 It's kind of like a neon pink nearly.
12:47 Really pretty in the summertime.
12:48 Another brand for lipsticks is Wet n Wild.
12:50 I think these do a great job for a cheapy lipstick.
12:53 And I have Mauve Outta Here is one of my favorite ones.
12:56 And I'll swatch that on my wrist there.
12:58 And that's it there.
12:59 It's just this gorgeous pinky, mauvey, plummy,
13:03 I don't know what you'd call it
13:04 but it's just whatever that is, that's what I like.
13:07 And these are really, really nice.
13:08 Now they're all matte just to be aware of
13:10 so you do need to moisturize your lips before you use them.
13:13 And I just think that they are great for a cheap lipstick.
13:16 They're fantastic.
13:17 So second lastly, I wanna talk about these goodies.
13:20 And these are the only things I recommend
13:22 in these chubby sticks from the drugstore.
13:25 And these are all from Revlon.
13:26 So look, you can see all the different colors there.
13:28 I have the Lacquer Bombs, I have the Just Bittens,
13:31 and then I have the Matte Bombs which look like that.
13:33 So those chubby lip pencils from Revlon
13:36 are the only ones I recommend from the drugstore.
13:37 I think that they do the best job.
13:39 This one in particular is one of my favorite ones.
13:42 What's it called?
13:43 Showy.
13:44 Show you there.
13:44 That's it there.
13:45 And it's really, really pigmented.
13:47 These color burst things are great as well
13:48 because they last a long time on your lips.
13:50 They don't cling to any of your dry skin.
13:52 And they're really affordable.
13:53 And I always recommend to get these
13:55 when it's again three for two in boots
13:58 which they have like nearly once a month they do it.
14:01 Finally, the last products I wanna talk about
14:02 from the drugstore are lip glosses.
14:05 And the only ones I recommend are the NYX Butter Glosses.
14:08 These are the best glosses on the market
14:11 because they are super pigmented.
14:13 They're not sticky.
14:14 These are great and they last a long time on the lip.
14:17 My favorite one is Creme Brulee
14:18 but I don't have that here right now.
14:20 It's over at my boyfriend's house.
14:21 And these are the other colors in the range.
14:24 There's tons.
14:24 I think there's about 12.
14:25 So these are the ones that I have.
14:27 And my other favorite one is one that's on me now,
14:30 Strawberry Parfait.
14:31 I have that on over that Vivids lipstick from Maybelline.
14:34 Another one is Eclair, Maple Blondie,
14:37 Meringue and Vanilla Cream Pie.
14:40 So they're the other four that I have.
14:41 And I love them.
14:42 I absolutely think that they are fantastic.
14:45 There's nothing else I like as much
14:47 from the drugstore as them.
14:48 Rimmel do a nice kind of lip gloss
14:50 but it's not as pigmented as these.
14:52 It's quite sheer and I just never reach for it.
14:55 So I recommend these ones over any of the other lip glosses.
14:58 They're the only lip glosses that I ever have in my bag
15:01 and they're the ones that I reach for the most frequently.
15:03 So the ones I recommend.
