00:00 Hi everyone, today I am going to do a drag look for you.
00:08 Everyone's probably thinking, you're a girl, why are you doing drag?
00:10 The reason I'm doing drag is because so many people have asked for it.
00:13 If you want to have a watch and want to learn how to do drag, it's great for you, but this
00:16 is for the people that really want it as well.
00:18 So before you say, oh my god, you look drag, I meant to, so that would be a compliment,
00:22 thank you.
00:23 Right, what I've got to start off with is, I just bought a hairnet because I've got long
00:28 hair, well not long hair, because I've got reasonably longer hair, I have to have something
00:33 for the tape to stick to and if it's going to stick to my hair it's going to move.
00:37 So I've just put a hairnet on and then what I've done is I've got this tape that you can
00:42 buy at Boots or I'm sure any other chemist, super drug, anywhere like that.
00:48 This is called Micropore and it's basically surgical tape and I've used it just to lift
00:53 my brow.
00:54 So if you see, one's going to be a lot higher and I've put a bit around the jawbone here,
00:57 I'm going to do the other side so you can see.
01:00 It doesn't matter, you can see, I am going to foundation over this bit anyway, but my
01:05 wig is going to cover it, so it really doesn't matter.
01:08 If you've got shorter hair you hardly need to use as much, but I obviously haven't, so
01:14 I just pop this, make sure it grips tight and it should pull the hair so you can see
01:20 how it's going to pull it and then stick it round and you'll be lucky, you can get your
01:25 jawbone in with that as well.
01:28 So it's restricting my movement, like I've been in the real wars.
01:34 But that's the price of beauty.
01:38 Who needs surgery when you can use Micropore tape?
01:41 Okay, another bit.
01:45 Obviously people's faces aren't as tight, my face is quite tight anyway, you're going
02:01 to see a huge lift, especially for fellas, you're going to see your brows lift dramatically
02:08 so they're more in shape of a ladies brow.
02:11 I think I've got enough on there, that's tight enough, I'm very tight in the forehead.
02:16 I'm going to get Pear Soap, which is this one here.
02:20 You can get it in most kettles.
02:22 I'm going to use some warm water and I'm just going to dip that into the Pear Soap and give
02:29 it a good rub over.
02:33 Get rid of my brows a bit.
02:36 I'm going to use MAC Studio Tech foundation.
02:51 I'm going for an NC25.
02:53 Right, this is where it gets complicated.
02:58 My skin's quite an even colour.
03:00 Guys, you'll find that your skin is, if you've got a stubble line, you might find airbrushing
03:05 better.
03:06 If you do get stubble line, it's normally going to be a bit greyer.
03:10 So what you want to use is a slightly pinkier foundation.
03:13 Lots of companies do a pinkier foundation with a slightly pinkier undertone.
03:16 And what it will do is, if you put a yellow foundation over the top of that area that's
03:20 slightly greyer, it's going to go ashy and it's going to show that you've got something
03:25 on there.
03:26 So you want something with a slightly warmer tone, something that's slightly pinker, so
03:29 when you put it on it will stop that ashiness coming through.
03:32 MAC do NW foundations, lots of other companies do a slightly warmer tone foundation as well.
03:42 So I'm putting the foundation over the tape.
03:45 It's fine.
03:46 To be fair, you're not going to see the tape anyway, which is why I've pulled it quite
03:50 far over, because I'm going to put a wig on right at the end.
03:53 You might find you need to build it more and more just to get the skin very even.
03:57 My Bobbi Brown concealer palette.
04:02 Oh, I'll just use this one here, over my brows.
04:10 This is a fantastic palette for drag because it has so many colours.
04:16 You can use it as foundation as well.
04:17 So I'm just going to push that over there.
04:26 You can use MAC Studio Finish concealer for this too.
04:39 I haven't powdered the foundation because I'm going to do the eyes.
04:46 To be honest, I'm not sure if I might use glitter, so it's probably going to fall down.
04:50 So that's why I haven't powdered because I'll have to give it a good clean over the skin
04:57 afterwards.
04:58 I am going to just powder over the brow though, just to seal that into place.
05:08 And I have got MAC Studio Fix because it's a really strong powder.
05:18 If you find that your skin is really hard to cover, then try using something like Dermablend
05:24 because it obviously has a lot more coverage that's going to cover well.
05:29 I've got a colour taupe which I'm going to use for the contouring of the cheeks.
05:35 But just beforehand, I'm going to just use it just to see where my eye shadow is going
05:42 to be.
05:43 Basically, my eye shape has changed now because I've made a lot more space because the brows
05:48 are going to be blanked out.
05:49 So I'm going to just create myself an artificial socket for a bit of shape.
06:15 MAC Stud Eyebrow Pencil because it's reasonably dark.
06:23 Sorry, I keep knocking this.
06:24 I'm still going to start from my brow.
06:25 I'm just going to go up super high.
06:26 I'm going to do the same thing on the other side.
06:53 So that's pretty much the shape I want.
07:02 Let's get a little bit of Illamasqua.
07:12 This is the silver from Dystopia.
07:17 It doesn't come in this container but this is a test one that we got sent.
07:20 I'm going to use that over there.
07:25 That will cover it.
07:30 And then I'll put something else there.
07:35 I have got this Nubar eye shadow and there's a really nice pale, like frosted white in
07:43 it.
07:44 I'm just going to use that.
07:51 You can see how it's giving it a nice shimmer through there.
07:54 You can see slightly where mine were but I need to look really closely.
07:59 I'm going to use the black tide which is that one there with a NARS short stem brush.
08:21 I'm just going to use that for my shape that I want to create and then lift it up.
08:51 Blend that through.
08:52 And also underneath the eye.
09:19 Black eyeliner.
09:22 I'm going to go for Smolder from MAC.
09:23 I'm going to pop that inside the eye.
09:24 Really try and drag it along that lash line.
09:25 And on the underside of the eye.
09:26 I hate doing that.
09:27 I'm going to do that silver that I used for the brows, the mascara.
09:51 I'm going to blend that through in a second.
10:20 And then I'm going to use a bit of MAC.
10:22 This is Reflex Transparent Pink.
10:23 And I'm going to push that through my brow bone.
10:24 Which is amazing.
10:25 I might pop a little bit here too.
10:26 And then I'm going to pop that in the middle of my brow bone.
10:53 It looks fantastic over the silver.
11:00 What I'm going to do is I'm going to bring a little bit of the pink blusher just through
11:05 that little gap there.
11:06 There's not much makeup.
11:08 I'm using Illamasqua Powder Blush in Nymph.
11:29 Which I really like.
11:30 It just brings the colours a bit more together.
11:31 I'm going to put a little bit of 3D silver because I think it wouldn't be a proper drag
11:32 without a bit of glitter in it somewhere.
11:33 A little bit of EZR.
11:40 I'm not sure if MAC still do this.
11:41 I think they do.
11:42 If not, they do mixing mediums.
11:45 So you can use the eyelash or the eyeliner.
11:55 Eyeliner mixing mediums.
11:56 I'm going to only use a small amount of this.
11:57 I think I might just put a bit in this.
11:58 You just pop this on first.
12:05 Leave it to set for a little while.
12:16 And just get your glitter.
12:22 See that?
12:24 It's amazing.
12:26 I only want to put it on that part of the eye because I don't want it to be all glitter
12:30 all over because it ruins the whole shape of it.
12:31 So I'm just putting it there.
12:32 A little bit just under the eye.
12:33 I'm sparkling.
12:48 Not too much actually fell underneath the eye.
12:51 I'm going to come back with the liner.
12:52 No, actually I'll do it now.
12:53 Why not finish the eyes?
12:54 I always do this, go off into attention and do something else.
12:59 Clinique black.
13:07 Just along the lash line.
13:11 It's not completely necessary because it doesn't show that much with these colours.
13:17 But I just like that it gives a little bit more definition at the lash line.
13:30 Another godsend is MAC Q-tips.
13:35 Basically they've got makeup remover on already so you just break them off.
13:41 And the eye makeup remover is on there.
13:43 So I'm just going to sweep clean under here.
13:47 I'm also going to give my hands a little wipe over because I've got a lot of black on them
13:53 from doing that.
13:54 I'm going to need my concealer again, Bobbi Brown.
13:58 I'll just pop this under the eye.
14:00 Just going to take off that makeup.
14:12 So MAC Studio Fix Powder all over.
14:16 Don't be afraid to use a lot because you want to look perfect.
14:24 So I'm going to use the colour that we used earlier, taupe, taupe, taupe, however you
14:28 say it.
14:29 Just like that.
14:30 I'm going to use it just to bring out the cheekbones a little bit.
14:34 Basically on men, the cheekbones aren't, you don't have much of a cheekbone unfortunately.
14:41 Most faces are a lot more rectangular than women's because like our bodies we're a bit
14:45 more curved, most of the time anyway.
14:48 So what you want to do is you want to just hold your brush, feel where the cheekbone
14:52 is from the ear to about mid-cheek and then draw it on.
15:08 So we dip in here, so you do a little bit there, we're going to have our wig on anyway
15:11 so it makes no difference here.
15:25 So use your colour, you can use a small amount and that will just go, just to make the nose
15:35 look slightly smaller, can you see that?
15:47 Don't need much of it.
15:48 Might want to take it right up into the eyes as well so you can get that slightly more
16:06 feminine shape through the eyes as well.
16:08 So you can see how little I put through the nose but it really shows up.
16:11 I'm going to use a pink blusher.
16:13 This one is by Illamasqua.
16:17 I used it through the eye if you remember, nymph, and I'm going to buff that right the
16:23 way over the cheek.
16:27 I'm going to use, so I'm recycling all my colours, I'm going to use a little bit of
16:38 the MAC Reflex Pink and just push that through the cheekbone, down the centre of the nose
17:04 and on my cupid's bow as well.
17:32 My light's just blown so you'll have to excuse me, I have opened the window so that
17:36 it's a bit more natural light and hopefully that will be enough for you, sorry guys.
17:40 But right, let's carry on.
17:42 So I'm going to use false lashes and I'm going to use Lash 44.
17:47 Then MAC, these are limited edition lashes, 2O glue on the back of these.
17:54 You can see how full on these ones are, I might put two pairs of lashes on if these
17:59 aren't too full on.
18:10 Barry M lip pencil in 25.
18:14 I was going to use bright pink on the lips but I think I'm going to go orangey.
18:33 Little bit over the lip as well.
18:38 These lip liners go on so well.
18:45 Nuba lipstick and this is a bright orange.
19:00 And then because I want it a bit darker I'm going to go around it with MAC Curren.
19:29 The wig I'm going to wear is quite red, that's the colour of it, so I'm going to
19:33 use a little bit of Sketch through the brows so it brings a little bit of redness through
19:39 there.
19:40 It's a little bit warmer.
19:43 Now, let's put another pair of lashes on.
19:49 Let's get number 12's.
20:12 Sorry about the light, that's why I look very shaded in the neck.
20:32 OK I think that's pretty much done, I just need to put my wee wig on.
20:56 Obviously not!
21:04 I love this wig anyone.
21:10 And there you have it.
21:36 Sorry about the lighting, but that's because of light blue.
21:41 Oh awesome!
21:42 With a slightly warmer tone, something that's slightly pinker, so when you put it on it
21:46 will stop that ashenness coming through.
21:49 MAC do NW foundations, lots of other companies do a slightly warmer tone foundation as well.
21:59 So I'm putting the foundation over the tape, it's fine.
22:03 To be fair, you're not going to see the tape anyway, which is why I've pulled it quite
22:06 far over because I'm going to put a wig on right at the end.
22:10 You might find you need to build it more and more just to get the skin very even.
22:14 My Bobbi Brown concealer palette.
22:18 Oh, I'll just use this one here, over my brows.
22:27 This is a fantastic palette for drag because it has so many colours.
22:32 You can use it as foundation as well.
22:34 So I'm just going to push that over there.
22:43 You can use MAC Studio Finish concealer for this too.
22:56 I haven't powdered the foundation because I'm going to do the eyes and to be honest
23:04 I'm not sure if I might use glitter so it's probably going to fall down.
23:07 So that's why, I think that's why I haven't powdered because I'll have to give it a good
23:12 clean over the skin afterwards.
23:13 I am going to just powder over the brow though, just to seal that into place.
23:25 I have got MAC Studio Fix because it's a really strong powder.
23:35 If you find that your skin is really hard to cover, then try using something like Dermablend
23:41 because it obviously has a lot more coverage that's going to cover well.
23:46 I've got a colour Taupe which I'm going to use for the contouring of the cheeks but just
23:52 beforehand I'm going to just use it just to see where my eye shadow is going to be.
24:01 Basically my eye shape has changed now because I've made a lot more space because the brows
24:05 are going to be blanked out.
24:06 So I'm going to just create myself an artificial socket for a bit of shape.
24:32 MAC Stud Eyebrow Pencil because it's reasonably dark.
24:40 Sorry I keep knocking this.
24:41 I'm still going to start from my brow.
24:42 I'm just going to go up super high.
24:43 Hi everyone.
25:13 Today I am going to do a drag look for you.
25:16 Everyone's probably thinking, "You're a girl, why are you doing drag?"
25:19 The reason I'm doing drag is because so many people have asked for it.
25:22 If you want to have a watch and want to learn how to do drag it's great for you but this
25:25 is for the people that really want it as well.
25:26 So before you say, "Oh my god, you look drag," I meant to so that would be a compliment.
25:30 Thank you.
25:31 Right, what I've got to start off with is I've just bought a hairnet because I've got
25:36 long hair.
25:37 Well not long hair but because I've got reasonably longer hair I have to have something for the
25:42 tape to stick to and if it's going to stick to my hair it's going to move.
25:46 So I've just put a hairnet on and then what I've done is I've got this tape that you can
25:50 buy at Boots or I'm sure any other chemist, super drug, anywhere like that.
25:57 This is called Micropore and it's basically surgical tape and I've used it just to lift
26:01 my brow.
26:02 So if you see, one's going to be a lot higher and I've put a bit around the jawbone here.
26:06 I'm going to do the other side so you can see.
26:09 It doesn't matter, you can see I am going to foundation over this bit anyway but my
26:14 wig is going to cover it so it really doesn't matter.
26:17 If you've got shorter hair you hardly need to use as much but I obviously haven't so
26:23 I just pop this, make sure it grips tight and it should pull the hair so you can see
26:29 how it's going to pull it and then stick it round.
26:32 You'll be lucky you can get your jawbone in with that as well.
26:38 So it's just stretching my movement, I feel like I've been in the real wars.
26:43 But that's the price of beauty.
26:47 Who needs surgery when you can use Micropore tape?
26:54 Okay, another bit.
27:06 See people's faces aren't as tight, my face is quite tight anyway.
27:10 You're going to see a huge lift, especially for fellas, you're going to see your brows
27:16 lift dramatically so they're more in the shape of a ladies brow.
27:20 I think I've got enough on there, that's tight enough, I'm very tight in the forehead.
27:25 I'm going to get Pear Soap, which is this one here.
27:29 You can get it in most kettles.
27:31 I'm going to use some warm water and I'm just going to dip that into the Pear Soap and give
27:38 it a good rub over.
27:42 Get rid of my brows a bit.
27:56 I'm going to use MAC Studio Tech foundation.
28:00 I'm going for an NC25.
28:02 Right, this is where it gets complicated.
28:06 My skin's quite an even colour.
28:08 Guys, you'll find that your skin is, if you've got a stubble line, you might find airbrushing

28:29 slightly greyer, it's going to go ashy and it's going to show that you've got something
28:34 on there.
28:35 So that's pretty much the shape I want.
28:46 Let's get a little bit of Illamasqua.
28:55 This is the silver from Dystopia.
29:00 It doesn't come in this container but this is a test one that we got sent.
29:03 I'm going to use that over there, that will cover it.
29:07 And then I'll put something else there.
29:16 I have got this Nubar eyeshadow and there's a really nice pale, like frosted white in
29:25 it.
29:26 I'm going to use that.
29:27 So you can see how it's giving it a nice shimmer through there.
29:37 You can see slightly where mine were, but only if you look really closely.
29:42 I'm going to use the black tide, which is that one there, with a NARS short stem brush.
29:50 And my lash line.
29:55 Pull it out.
29:58 That's just for my shape that I want to create and then lift it up.
30:20 Get a blending brush and just softly blend that through.
30:44 Go underneath the eye.
31:01 Black eyeliner.
31:02 I'm going to go for Smolder from MAC.
31:03 I'm going to pop that inside the eye.
31:04 Really try and drag it along that lash line.
31:27 I'm going to use that silver that I used for the brows, the mascara.
31:55 I'm going to sweep clean under here.
32:03 I'm also going to give my hands a little wipe over because I've got a lot of black on them
32:10 from doing that.
32:11 I'm going to need my concealer again, Bobbi Brown.
32:14 I'll just pop this under the eye.
32:15 Just going to take off that makeup.
32:29 So fixed MAC Studio Fix Powder all over.
32:37 Don't be afraid to use a lot because you want to look perfect.
32:41 I'm going to use the colour that we used earlier, Taupe, however you say it.
32:46 Just like that.
32:47 I'm going to use it just to bring out the cheekbones a little bit.
32:51 Basically, on men, the cheekbones aren't, you don't have much of a cheekbone.
32:57 Unfortunately, your faces are a lot more rectangular than women's because like our bodies, we're
33:01 a bit more curved, most of the time anyway.
33:05 So what you want to do is you want to just hold your brush, feel where the cheekbone
33:09 is from the ear to about mid-cheek and then draw it on.
33:24 Also we dip in here, so you do a little bit there.
33:27 We're going to have a wig on anyway so it makes no difference here.
33:42 So use your colour, you can use a small amount and that will just go, just to make the nose
33:52 look slightly smaller, can you see that?
34:03 Don't need much of it.
34:04 Might want to take it right up into the eyes as well so you can get that slightly more
34:22 feminine shape through the eyes as well.
34:24 So you can see how little I put through the nose but it really shows up.
34:28 I'm going to use a pink blusher.
34:30 This one is by Illamasqua.
34:34 I used it through the eye if you remember, nymph, and I'm going to buff that right the
34:40 way over the cheek.
34:44 I'm going to use, so I'm recycling all my colours, I'm going to use a little bit of
34:55 the MAC Reflex Pink and just push that through the cheekbone, down the centre of the nose
35:21 and around my cupid's bow.
35:26 A little bit of MAC, this is Reflex Transparent Pink and I'm going to push that through my
35:39 brow bone, which is amazing.
35:45 I might put a little bit here too.
36:06 It looks fantastic over the silver.
36:07 What I'm going to do is I'm going to bring a little bit of the pink blusher just through
36:12 that little gap there, there's not much makeup.
36:15 I'm using Illamasqua Powder Blush in Nymph.
36:21 Which I really like, it just brings the colours a bit more together.
36:36 I'm going to put a little bit of 3D silver because I think it wouldn't be proper drag
36:42 without a bit of glitter in it somewhere.
36:45 A little bit of EZR, I'm not sure if MAC still do this, I think they do.
36:51 If not, they do mixing mediums so you can use the eyelash or the eyeliner mixing mediums.
37:04 I'm going to only use a small amount of this, I think I might just pop it in this central
37:11 bit here.
37:13 You just pop this on first, leave it to set for a little while and just get your glitter.
37:28 See that, it's amazing.
37:34 I only want to put it on that part of the eye because I don't want it to be all glitter
37:37 all over because it ruins the whole shape of it.
37:40 So I'm just putting it there.
37:47 A little bit just under the eye.
37:53 I'm sparkling.
37:56 Not too much actually fell underneath the eye.
37:58 I'm going to come back with the liner.
38:00 No, actually I'll do it now.
38:01 Why not finish the eyes.
38:02 I always do this, go off into a tangent and do something else.
38:11 Clinique black.
38:15 Just along the lash line.
38:19 It's not completely necessary because it doesn't show that much with these colours.
38:25 But I just like that it gives a little bit more definition at the lash line.
38:38 Another godsend is MAC Q-tips.
38:42 Basically they've got make-up remover on already so you just break them off.
38:48 yarn makeup removers on there.
