00:00 Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
00:14 Today I am doing a smoky eye look with two different lips.
00:19 I used the color Sin by MAC and Matte Passion by Milani.
00:25 The reason I did this, to be honest, I'm going to be completely honest, this is because when
00:29 I was doing this look, I had intentionally, I was like, man, I have never, like I haven't
00:33 used this color yet, so I put it on and then I was like, girl, I didn't like the way it
00:39 looked on me.
00:40 But I know a lot of people like doing really, really dark lips, so I was like, why don't
00:45 I do two things, two alternatives, a really bright lip and a really dark lip.
00:49 So you guys choose whichever lip you guys want to match this eye with.
00:53 I used the Shade and Light Eye Contour Kit by Kat Von D.
00:58 I really, really apologize for my really, really pale face.
01:02 I know I tried to contour as...
01:05 I got a tan and then I went to Macy's to get my Estee Lauder foundation and they didn't
01:10 have my color, like the darker shade that I want.
01:12 And it's my baby, but okay, anyways, if you guys want to know how to get this look, if
01:22 you guys want to know how to get this look, just keep on watching.
01:25 Alright guys, so first I'm going to start off with my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer.
01:29 I'm just going to place this all over my face, my cheeks, my chin, my forehead.
01:35 Then I'm going to use the Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion.
01:38 I'm going to place this all over my eyelids, just to make sure all my eyeshadow stays on
01:43 nice and neat.
01:44 So then I have to replace this with this nice, convenient little brush.
01:47 We're going to go ahead and blend everything out.
01:57 Then I'm going to use this beautiful Shade & Light Contour Kit.
02:00 It's so pretty.
02:01 I'm going to start off with the color Aladdiness and we're going to place this all over the
02:06 crease.
02:07 This is a really good transition shade.
02:08 I love using neutrals like this and like coffee-like colors to transition.
02:13 Either, it doesn't matter if it's like a really bright eye or a really dark eye.
02:18 I'm going to do the same thing on the other eye.
02:26 It doesn't matter if it looks a little harsh right now, but as you guys will see, we're
02:31 going to use a lot, a lot of blending.
02:38 We're going to go ahead and place Aladdiness on the other eye and blend it out as well.
02:42 I'm using this Sonia Kashuk Blending Brush in number 116 and this is the Just Up Big
02:49 Eyeshadow Blending Brush and we're just going to blend it all out.
02:52 Then I'm going to go in with the color Shaxx and we're going to place this on the outer
02:57 corner but mainly focusing where the transition shade is, not so much on the eyelid.
03:02 We're going to go ahead and place another color on the eyelid, but as you guys will
03:06 see when we blend it out, it's going to go ahead and move down a bit.
03:09 It looks a little harsh right now, but when we blend it out, once again, blending is key.
03:14 We're just going to blend it out.
03:17 How many times am I going to say blend?
03:22 Then we're going to go in with the color Salios and we're going to place this all over the
03:27 eyelid.
03:28 This is a really matte white color, if you can't already tell.
03:44 And then once the eyelid is done, we're just going to blend everything out again.
03:48 This Just Up Brush is a really good blending brush.
03:51 The bristles are so, so soft.
03:54 Then we're going to go back in with the color Aladdiness.
03:58 That's how it looks for now.
03:59 We're going to go in with Aladdiness and place this above the transition shade just to make
04:03 it look more natural.
04:05 We're going to outline it with this color.
04:11 And we are done for the eyes for right now.
04:13 Oh, no we're not.
04:14 We are going to go back in with the color Salios and place it back on our eyelid.
04:22 Then we're going to go in with the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in the shade Sand.
04:27 I know it's very, very light for my skin.
04:29 I tried to blend as much as I can.
04:31 You guys know what happened.
04:32 I couldn't get my hands on my darker shade.
04:34 But that's why we do lots and lots of contouring so that it looks like it fits with my neck
04:39 a little bit.
04:40 And we're not done with the eyes.
04:41 We're going to come back and do some more things to our eyes, but you guys will see
04:46 that later on.
04:47 So we're just going to blend all this foundation out.
04:56 Then using my Stay Matte Rimmel Powder, I'm going to place this all over my face just
05:01 to make sure my foundation stays on.
05:03 Then I'm going to go back, like I said, to our eyes.
05:05 And I'm using the Maybelline Master Conceal with this angled brush.
05:09 And I'm just going to place a little bit on the angled brush and outline my eyebrows.
05:13 This also really helps to clean up not only your eyebrows.
05:16 My eyebrows were already filled before the video, but it also helps clean up the eyeshadow
05:21 that could be a little messy under the eye.
05:24 So I'm just going to outline under the eyebrows, in front of the eyebrows, above the eyebrows,
05:32 all the way to the end.
05:34 Then I'm just going to use this Jessup Concealer Brush and I'm going to blend everything out
05:38 nicely.
05:39 It kind of looks good that your around your eyebrows is a lot lighter than your foundation
05:43 because it looks like you just got your eyebrows done.
05:46 You know when you get your eyebrows done and then you're so red under or so white under?
05:50 I don't know why I like that feeling.
05:52 So we're just going to blend this all out.
06:09 Then we're going to go in with the color Salios again and we're going to use this as a highlight
06:13 under the brow bone.
06:21 Then I'm just blending again because like I said, you can never blend too much.
06:24 Then I'm going in with Salios again and placing this on the eyelid.
06:27 I promise this is the last time I do it, I think.
06:29 But I just really want this to be out there.
06:32 Then I'm going to use my Master Conceal again in the shade Light and I'm going to place
06:37 this, I'm just going to make a triangle under my eyelids, on both eyelids, and then we're
06:42 going to blend it out after with this big concealer brush by Jessup.
06:48 This is just to highlight my under eyes.
06:51 It's good to use a very, very lighter shade than your foundation to make sure that everything
06:55 looks highlighted.
07:17 This is what it looks like all blended out.
07:19 Then from the Shade and Light Kat Von D Contour Kit, I'm going to go in with Lyric, this really
07:24 light shade, and we're just going to use this to set our under eye and also highlight our
07:28 under eye.
07:29 Then I'm going to go in with the color Shadow Play from the Shade and Light Contour Kit
07:34 and we're just going to place this on our cheeks.
07:38 The contouring gets a little messy in this video just because my lighting looks horrible,
07:44 but we're going to go ahead and fix that.
07:46 So we're just going to place this on our cheekbones.
07:51 It looks a lot darker on my left side, but it's the lighting.
07:53 I put the same amount on both sides.
07:56 We're using this stipple brush just to outline it.
07:58 It's not really the way we contour, it's just to place the bronzer where we want it and
08:03 then later on we're going to go ahead and blend it out.
08:06 So don't worry if it looks very, very harsh right now, it's going to be blended all out
08:10 later on.
08:15 Also going to take Shadow Play up to my forehead.
08:18 I'm going to use it to outline my forehead and also put it up to the middle of my eyebrow.
08:24 This also usually helps for contouring.
08:26 It makes your forehead look a little smaller.
08:29 Like I said, it looks so, so harsh right now, but we're going to blend it all out.
08:37 I love this stipple brush for contouring because it really grabs the bronzer and it really
08:42 puts it on your face very, very well.
08:44 Then I'm going to use this sculpting brush by Real Techniques and then I'm going to use
08:48 this to blend it all out.
08:55 I grab a little bit more of Shadow Play and place it on the other side of my cheek because
08:59 it looks a lot harsher on my left side.
09:11 Then I realize how horrible the lighting is and once I fix the lighting, this is what
09:15 it looks like once we keep on blending.
09:17 I blended some more before changing the lighting, but this is what it should look like once
09:21 you are done blending.
09:22 Then I'm going to go in with the Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Brush in Rapture and
09:28 I'm going to place this on top of the bronzer.
09:39 Then using this big Real Techniques powder brush, we're going to blend everything out
09:43 together, everything on the cheeks, everything on the forehead, just to make sure everything
09:48 is nice and blended.
09:52 I don't know what happened, but I think my lips were really dry.
09:59 Then I'm going to go in with this Becca Illuminizer in Opal.
10:02 This is so beautiful.
10:03 Look how much it illuminizes.
10:06 That is so pretty.
10:07 So we're going to place this on top of the blush.
10:20 Then I'm going to go in with the color Sin by MAC.
10:23 This is a very matte lipstick.
10:25 We obviously place it on the lips because it's a lipstick.
10:28 I'm just going to go ahead and put it all over.
10:31 This makes your lips look very, very matte and pretty and dark.
10:34 This is really good for like fall or a night out, but definitely not every day.
10:43 I got a little ahead of myself and I didn't even do my eyelashes.
10:56 Then I'm going to go in with my Estee Lauder Incover Glow Mascara.
10:58 I did this off camera, but this is what it looks like once I place it all on there.
11:03 Off camera as well, I put on the Milani Passion color all over my lips.
11:08 So that is the final look.
11:09 I hope you guys enjoyed.
