00:03Today I'm going to explain a science fiction film from 2023
00:06called The Wandering Earth 2
00:08At the movie's beginning
00:10there is a lot of confusion and disorder
00:12Scientists inform everyone about a big problem called the Solar Crisis
00:16They say that if the Sun keeps getting bigger at its current rate
00:19it will eventually consume the Earth in a hundred years
00:22And in three hundred years
00:23the entire Solar System will be gone
00:26To deal with this
00:27the United Earth Government (UEG) decided to do something called the "Moving Mountain Project
00:33" This means they will build giant engines to push the Earth away from the Solar System
00:37But because this project is very expensive and uses up resources quickly
00:41people worldwide start having protests and riots
00:44The violent protests become even more intense when the UEG prohibits the Digital Life Project (DLP),
00:50a radical group that believes the future of humanity lies in computers
00:54The DLP is working on a program allowing individuals to transfer their minds onto a disk

01:30and one of them is Liu
01:32a pilot who arrives at the space station base

01:35he meets fellow trainee Han and develops feelings for her
01:38The new trainees are given a tour of the facility and then taken to the space elevator for their first test
01:43This elevator is the tallest structure ever built by humans
01:46and it moves upwards so quickly that many of them faint

01:50all the trainees receive good training
01:53While going through the training together
01:54Liu and Han spend time getting to know each other and eventually fall in love
01:58A batch of new astronauts arrive and join the elevator journey

02:29Han and Liu bravely fight against the terrorists inside their space cabin

02:36a highly intelligent quantum computer that finally manages to regain control from the hackers
02:41The terrorists, however
02:43place explosive devices on the space station
02:45which then crashes onto the base
02:47severely damaging the building
02:49Due to the extent of the destruction caused by the station crash
02:52the base is evacuated
02:54and the news reports announce a loss of approximately 3521 lives
02:59As a result of the tragedy and the significant loss of resources
03:02the riots and terrorist attacks intensified
03:05People begin demanding that the government revive the DLP project
03:09Zhou instructs his assistant to read the prepared speech
03:11urging the UEG to trust in the project once again
03:15A few weeks later
03:16cryo sleeping pods are transported to the Moon with the crew responsible for working on the lunar engines
03:21After awakening
03:22computer engineer Hengyu promptly checks his belongings to ensure everything is in order
03:27This includes the AI 550A and a recording of his daughter Yaya
