00:00 Sailor Moon has been such a huge part of my life. I grew up with her and she's one of
00:05 my biggest role models. To honour the release of the official Sailor Moon crystal trailer
00:10 and to show my excitement for the reboot, I want to share with you guys a quick Sailor
00:14 Moon inspired makeup tutorial. The wig and the Artemis backpack can be purchased at Spree
00:19 Picky and I'll link to all the items in the description. Enjoy!
00:23 Start by taking your best coverage foundation, something really strong, and apply in circular
00:38 motions to create a really perfect matte face effect. Once the foundation is completely
00:47 blended in, take a dark coloured concealer and apply to the sides of your nose, your
00:51 cheekbones and the sides of your forehead. This contours and creates a slimmer effect,
00:56 like a cartoon character. Make sure you blend this in completely to the foundation so you
01:03 don't have any dark marks on your face. For the base of the eye makeup, take either a
01:09 yellow or a white concealer and apply to the entire eyelid and down to the tear duct area,
01:14 pulling it just underneath where your waterline is. Blend it out slightly with your fingertips.
01:23 Before applying any powder, I would suggest applying your contact lenses, if you're going
01:28 to be wearing any. Next, take a white, preferably shimmery eyeshadow and apply to all the areas
01:33 we just used concealer on, as well as upwards towards your eyebrow, creating an arch for
01:38 your brow bone. Next, take a light powdery blue colour and apply in a V shape at the
01:51 sides of your eyes over your crease. Then, using a good quality blending brush, blend
01:57 out and upwards. Take a soft white concealer and even out the edges of the makeup. For
02:17 the eyeliner, I would suggest either a gel or a liquid. You want the inner corner line
02:21 to be as thin as you can possibly get it, coming up thicker towards the outer corner.
02:33 To create a wide-eyed anime-style look, you want to have a very thick line just a little
02:38 bit further away from your waterline to make the eyes look like they're really open. Take
02:43 an angled brush to buff out the edges of the bottom line and join the top and bottom line
02:47 together. Then, using the thinnest tipped brush you have, create tiny little eyelashes
02:51 along this bottom waterline. Use a light eyeshadow for the eyebrows, you just want to get them
02:57 light enough to match the wig. You want your lashes to be as big and cartoony as possible,
03:02 so I'm using Eyelure in 120. Next, take the pinkest blush you have, smile and apply to
03:09 the apples of your cheeks. Using a lip brush and a light pink lipstick, I'm using Snob
03:13 from MAC. Apply to the insides of your lips, then take a darker coloured pink and apply
03:18 to the outsides of your lips. To finish, just powder over any imperfections, put your tiara
03:24 on and your wig, and you're done! Hooray! Tsuki ni kawatte, oshiyoki yo!
