01:37 British Light Heavyweight Champion from 2016 beat Miles Shinkwin and then lost out to Frank Bullioni
01:45 the other defeat on his record was against Dan Aziz in 2021 and that defeat prompted the decision
01:52 to step up to cruiserweight and you look how big he is makes you wonder how on earth he ever made
01:56 Light Heavy. Yeah most of his career obviously at Light Heavy former Light Heavyweight Champion Burton
02:03 and he's moved into the cruiserweight division real big problems and
02:12 six foot four will carry the weight well it's quiet sort of opening this two lads you get the
02:19 sense just sort of feeling each other out but now Burton tries to step in but Zorro slipped away from
02:26 that attempt to big right hand comfortably enough so at the moment the pace is pretty slow suited
02:32 Burton he can use that jab and that long straight right hand obviously it's a bit of a scouting
02:37 mission this first round especially for Zorro but his feet are a little bit too slow so at the moment

04:58 but that'll be a dangerous shot for him well Zorro certainly not looking like a

05:08 that's better solid right hand and the crowd applaud that one slipped the attempted
05:16 attack from Burton and landed a cracking right hand counter a better shot there from Zorro
05:24 and what he's doing sensibly here is quite clever he's using that jab of his to the body just takes
05:29 the attention away from that right hand that will follow over the top to try and draw the arms down
05:34 of his opponent and the elbow so that's why he keeps pumping that jab into the body and then
05:40 you look for that right hand over the top he's absorbed a lot of jabs from Burton Zorro and a
05:46 lot of them have found the targets as the blood on his face tells me that's a good right hand from
05:51 Zorro as Burton tried to unload an uppercut
05:55 it's better from Zorro is he starting to settle into the fight now
06:02 yeah better work for him and again there's that jab to the body then the right hand follows

06:11 Burton's got to be aware of that and that body shot comes in ready for the right hand over the top

06:29 what's important for Burton is he has to hit the target John if he misses he falls in and that's
06:36 when he's going to be open so that jab of his very very important but so is his right hand
06:40 occasionally the right hand misses the target he's got to hit the target otherwise he falls in
06:46 he was out jabbed by Zorro then it was the head of Burton which was rocked back
06:50 by the left-hand lead and Zorro having a much better spell Burton for me fairly clearly taking
06:57 the opening round but Zorro right back in it here and might be getting the better of the second

11:56 of the round I thought Burton was a lot more confidence in his work and probably nicked the

21:15 Zorro not the experience that Burton has of long distance fights he's only once been past six rounds

26:00 the fight's all over and as Zorro's turned it round the biggest night of his career and a tremendous
26:07 right hand and Jose Burton took some terrific shots there the fight's all over in that seventh
26:16 round and Zorro is the new champion what an end to the to the contest that was for Zorro a couple
26:22 of quality right hands Burton just straight off onto the ropes the first one was an absolute cracker
26:27 but the second one sent him to the canvas and he's up now is everything's okay Jose Burton's no
26:34 problem with him at all but what a contest that was but Zorro had to find those quality shots I
26:40 thought he was behind in the contest but he's found the quality the power in those shots there
26:45 the precision in the punches yeah that was impressive from in there well it was particularly
26:50 impressive because there's a very good argument that Jose Burton was ahead there but he comes back
26:56 with some tremendous work and I'm afraid to say there's a bit of crowd trouble on the far side of
