00:12 Yes, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the MU stand.
00:15 This is your preview for Manchester City versus Manchester United.
00:20 Manchester United will face our Crosstown rival Man City
00:24 in the 2023 Emirates FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium.
00:29 This weekend, the Reds have a chance to make it to a domestic double.
00:34 It's a domestic cup double with a victory over Pep Guardiola's side.
00:38 Obviously, Man City also pursuing a second trophy in the upcoming.
00:44 They've won the Premier League already. We've won the Carabao Cup.
00:48 This is another trophy that we could grab.
00:50 City also have a chance to claim a treble themselves
00:55 with the Premier League title already in the bag.
00:58 As I mentioned, the Blues will face Inter Milan in the Champions League Final
01:02 seven days on from our FA Cup meeting.
01:05 But in this show, guys, in this show, we are going to cover the team news,
01:10 the predicted starting lineup, the current form,
01:13 head-to-head score prediction at the end.
01:15 So make sure you stick around and get involved
01:18 by letting us know who should be in the starting 11.
01:23 Okay, let me just quickly move into the team news.
01:26 Before I do that, guys, if you're enjoying these previews,
01:29 make sure you smash the like on the stream, subscribe to the channel
01:31 if you are new to the channel.
01:34 Okay, team news.
01:35 So, Anthony Martial has actually ruled out with a hamstring injury.
01:41 This is a big blow, I think. This is a big blow.
01:45 We're expecting Martial to start this game,
01:47 but now he's not going to be able to play the final against Man City.
01:53 The big question remains on whether or not the forward Anthony
01:58 will be fit to face Manchester City.
02:00 Having been forced off against Chelsea on May 25th,
02:04 Tenhack provided something of a positive update
02:08 regarding Anthony's fitness following our most recent victory over Fulham.
02:14 So he said we've all seen how he came off and it did not look great,
02:19 but the first assessment is not too bad.
02:22 There is a good opportunity.
02:23 He is available for the cup final next week, said the boss just days ago.
02:28 So this is a positive thing.
02:30 If we can actually get Anthony back for this final, I think it's going to be huge.
02:34 It's going to be massive.
02:36 We know already Lissandro Martinez, Marcel Sabitzer, and Donny Van De Beek
02:41 have all been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
02:45 So those players are not going to be available in terms of Manchester City.
02:51 So let's quickly take a look at the Manchester City's team news.
02:56 So Pep Guardiola, he obviously could provide us an update ahead of the final
03:01 on Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Wielisz, Akanji, and Ruben Diaz later this week.
03:07 These players all missed that 1-0 defeat against Brentford
03:13 on the final day of the Premier League this season.
03:16 It was mentioned that unspecified problems,
03:19 so we don't know exactly if they're going to be fit.
03:22 If you ask me, I think those players are going to be available in the final.
03:27 For sure, they're going to be available in the final,
03:30 but remains to be unclear whether they will be available for the final.
03:35 Okay, so lineups.
03:37 So this is the lineup.
03:41 Okay, this is the lineup that has started against Fulham.
03:44 We've won against Fulham 2-1, and this is the team that has started.
03:47 I think I'm going to make a few changes here.
03:49 Okay, so David de Gea.
03:51 I don't think we need to make any changes for David de Gea.
03:54 David de Gea saved the penalty at Old Trafford for the first time
03:58 since October 2014 with United winning.
04:01 And we were actually not winning.
04:03 We were actually 1-0 down against Fulham.
04:05 It could have been a different story if he didn't save that penalty kick
04:08 because it could have been 2-0 for Fulham.
04:10 But thanks to David de Gea, he made that save.
04:13 For sure, he is going to start.
04:15 He's going to start this final.
04:17 Very unlikely for him.
04:19 And I do believe Juan Bosaka has been the dominant player in that position.
04:23 And I do think Juan Bosaka will start ahead of Dalot.
04:27 So we are going to take off Dalot and put Juan Bosaka in.
04:30 Ahir Maguire, I don't need to discuss anything about this player.
04:34 I mean, hopefully he leaves in the summer,
04:36 but he is not going to be starting this game.
04:39 He cost us the Europa League.
04:41 So Varane starts with Lindelof.
04:43 Malasia was impressive.
04:45 Let's be honest.
04:46 He was impressive against Fulham.
04:48 But we're not playing Fulham.
04:49 We're playing Manchester City.
04:51 And I do think if Luke Shaw is 100% fit,
04:54 Luke Shaw is going to be selected for this game.
04:56 This is going to be the back four or should I say the back five.
04:59 Casemiro and Fred started the game.
05:01 Casemiro, of course, conceded that penalty
05:04 with a clumsy tackle or trip on Tom.
05:08 What's his name? I think it was Tom.
05:10 But all in all, he played well.
05:11 He played well in that game.
05:12 Casemiro transformed our team.
05:15 I keep saying I know Rashford won the two trophies,
05:19 the best player of the year and a certain man's supposed to be a trophy.
05:24 He won both trophies.
05:26 I do think that Casemiro deserves at least to take one of them.
05:29 In my eyes, I thought Casemiro has been the best player for Manchester United.
05:34 Without him, I think this team won't be achieving what we have achieved so far,
05:39 the Carabao Cup and also finishing in the top four.
05:43 It would not be possible without Casemiro.
05:45 And I do think he was the best player.
05:47 He was the best player of the year.
05:49 We're not going to have a lot of the balls.
05:51 And what we do, we want a player that can create a chance from deep.
05:55 And that is Eriksen.
05:57 Eriksen definitely is going to help us create chances in transition.
06:01 We might see Bruno push to the wing or push to the side.
06:05 I don't think Garnaccio will start this game.
06:08 In my eyes, and I do think that he is going to be on the bench.
06:13 And I do think Sancho did play on the right-hand side against Fulham.
06:17 But in this game against Man City, he will be on the left.
06:21 We know for sure Anthony Martial is not fit.
06:23 Rashford has to be pushed inside and play as a striker.
06:27 But Sancho on the left and put Anthony on the right.
06:30 So this is going to be the team, I think.
06:32 This is the team that should play against Manchester City.
06:36 Do you guys agree or disagree with this?
06:39 Just do let me know in the comment section.
06:41 So head-to-head.
06:42 You're looking at head-to-head.
06:44 The past, I don't know, five games, there has not been a draw between these two teams.
06:49 So don't expect anything less than that.
06:52 I don't think there's going to be a draw.
06:53 I think we're going to win or we're going to lose.
06:55 These two teams, we rarely draw games.
06:58 Man United have won only twice.
07:01 And have lost three games.
07:03 So this is going to be a tricky one.
07:05 What's going to happen in the FA Cup final?
07:07 I know Manchester City are our favourite, but I don't think it's as easy as that.
07:11 I don't think it's going to be as straightforward as that.
07:14 I think we're going to have surprises.
07:16 And I'll give you guys my prediction.
07:18 Teams form.
07:19 Okay, so going into this game, of course we know Man City have won the Premier League.
07:23 They've won three games in their past five games.
07:27 The last game they played, they've lost against Brentford, which is a good thing.
07:31 Hopefully somehow it hurts them.
07:36 I don't think it will, but somehow it kills their momentum.
07:40 It kills their confidence.
07:42 Hopefully it does.
07:43 I mean, I don't think all the starters played against Brentford.
07:47 So they might not take that game seriously.
07:52 The fact that they lost the game.
07:54 But I do hope that it kills their momentum.
07:57 They've drawn against Brighton as well.
08:00 But these two results have come after already being a champion.
08:05 So I don't know how much you can put into it.
08:09 Did they really take these two games seriously?
08:11 I doubt it.
08:12 I doubt it.
08:13 So they might not tell us the whole story here.
08:15 But looking at Manchester United's team form, we've lost against West Ham.
08:20 But after that, we've won four in a row, including against Chelsea and Fulham.
08:25 So we're in good shape, guys.
08:27 We are in good shape.
08:28 But the confidence is really high for Manchester United.
08:31 And I'm confident.
08:32 I'm confident going into this final.
08:34 Okay, here it comes.
08:35 This is going to be my prediction.
08:37 Okay, whether we see an end-to-end classic or a more closely fought contest remains to be seen.
08:45 We don't know what kind of game it's going to be.
08:47 But one of these teams are for sure guaranteed to lift a second trophy of the season.
08:52 I mentioned that earlier.
08:54 And I think it's going to be us.
08:55 I think we're going to win our second trophy.
08:57 Manchester City, of course, possesses superiority in terms of possession and attack.
09:06 But United could definitely exploit them in a counterattack.
09:10 And I do think that Manchester United are going to sit back and counter with Anthony.
09:15 That's why I desperately want Anthony to start this game.
09:18 Anthony and Sancho and Rashford, they're going to cause a lot of issues.
09:22 And Bruno Fernandes is just behind them for sure.
09:25 We are going to cause a lot of problems for Manchester City.
09:29 We've shown it at Old Trafford this season already.
09:32 So it is possible, guys.
09:34 It is possible that we could definitely beat Manchester City on the counterattack.
09:38 They might dominate ball possession, but we might dominate creating chances on the counter.
09:45 Just sitting back, absorb pressure, and just hit them on the counterattack.
09:50 And I do think United could definitely win this game.
09:54 And I'm definitely going for 2-1.
09:57 Marcus Rashford is going to be on the score sheet, and Bruno Fernandes is going to be on the score sheet.
10:03 So we'll see, guys. We'll see on Saturday. I cannot wait for that game.
10:07 Thank you all for watching. Be sure to join us for the Watch Along on Saturday.
10:13 And also let us know in the comment section what you guys think about the lineup and what is your score prediction for the game.
10:20 Do leave it in the comment section.
10:22 Thanks again for watching. I'll see you guys on the next one.
10:25 Peace!
