00:10 Hi guys! So today I will be doing the power of makeup video. I just saw
00:17 NikkieTutorials video and I could really relate to everything that she said about
00:25 that makeup is a bad thing right now. Everyone thinks that you want to
00:31 impress someone when you're doing your makeup or that you don't like how you
00:35 look, like insecurities and stuff. And also the thing when people see you on
00:46 the internet and they say that the person with full-on face with makeup is
01:00 not you, that you don't look the same, you know. And I get that a lot. I don't think
01:08 it's a bad thing though. I know that I look very different from when I'm bare
01:13 faced like now and when I have makeup on. For example my eyebrows. I do shave
01:23 them right here because I want to be able to have different eyebrow shapes
01:29 from day to day and just play around with makeup. That's what I love and yeah
01:37 that's what I want to do. I think the worst thing that I could like ever
01:42 imagine would be to look the same way every single day, like the same hairstyle
01:49 and makeup look. Yeah I would hate that. That would suck. And I know that this is
01:56 my face and I do love my face and how I look when I don't have makeup on because
02:02 this is me. But when I have a full face of makeup, very like arched brows and
02:10 this smoky eye and like over lined lips, that's still me. But a more creative
02:24 me I guess. Oh well, so this video will be me doing half of my face full glam and
02:33 the other one will be my bare face. And yeah, I hope you enjoy.
02:42 So first off I always use a foundation to just even out my skin tone. As you can
02:56 see it's still very pale. I don't use a darker foundation or anything like that.
03:01 And then I use a lighter concealer to highlight and conceal.
03:10 It makes me look so red. Oh well.
03:21 Now to contour. That's also one of the things that people get really upset
03:31 about. That you don't have like the cheekbones that you think that they have.
03:42 Cheekbones and no cheekbones.
03:52 And then of course a highlighter and for that I will be using the elf 8 blush in
04:13 pinktastic I think.
04:17 And I like to take some on my nose and keep it low. And now for the brows. One of
04:33 the things that people get most upset about. People just hate when I like do
04:41 this very arched eyebrows. I don't really get why. Because I'm not the typical
04:49 natural girl and I don't do natural. I like to overdraw my lips and I like to
04:57 overdraw my eyebrows. I like to have weird hair and you know. So I will just
05:05 fill in my brows the way that I want them to look today. And for that I use
05:14 the Anastasia the brow pomade in dark brown together with the tiny little brush.
05:23 So I'm just going to go in with the brush and just kind of blend it in. And then I'm just going to go in with the brush.

05:57 First off I will be using a pigment from Peaches makeup. It just looks like this.
06:04 Nothing special. It's just a nude base color.
06:12 When I look straight forward you can't really see much of my my lid. So I like
06:24 to do a kind of over-the-top crease color I guess. Yeah and for that I use a
06:34 Makeup Store smog.

06:41 This eyeshadow is also perfect for people with very pale skin to like
06:52 contour and stuff. I have actually seen that it looks exactly the same as I
06:59 think it's called Fawn from the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette that I used to
07:05 contour. It's like the same color. So you can see it's very similar and this is
07:14 not really a tutorial. This is just like showing me, showing you that I can look
07:25 different but it's still me. And then I will just be using a makeup store
07:35 color called Dramatic.

07:44 You guys who saw NikkieTutorials video saw that she was like doing this inner
07:54 tear duct wing thing and I haven't really done that ever so I wanted to try

08:32 And also with eyeliner I like never follow my real like... you should have it
08:40 right here but I usually go just underneath it and do a wing. It just like
08:48 opens up my eyes just a little bit more and I really like it.

09:14 As I said the over lining of my lips is always something that I see in my
09:20 comments and you know on Instagram and all of that. And some people think
09:30 that I don't know that I overdraw my lips and you know that I don't know that
09:37 you can see it and I know that you can see that I over line my lips. Of course
09:42 you can see it and I have a oversized piercing... what's it called? Yeah it's
09:50 oversized so that's why it's like huge but as you can see I don't have a lot of
09:56 lips like my top lip is not even there. So I always like to overdraw it because
10:03 why not? Okay I will use a dark brown lip liner from NYX and I will draw in my
10:12 lips as I want it to be today. Maybe tomorrow I will have just like a sheer
10:23 lipstick on and no over drawing at all and the day after that I will have like
10:31 these really overdrawn even for me lips like neon pink or something I don't know
