00:00 (upbeat music)
00:02 Hey guys, so today I'm gonna be doing
00:15 this very dark, smoky eye tutorial for you.
00:18 This is like a modified version of that classic bombshell look
00:21 with the super highlighted cheeks and the intense contour,
00:24 the smoky eyes, the nude lips.
00:26 You know, you used to see this everywhere,
00:29 you know, like all the Playboy Bunnies would wear this
00:31 and Pamela Anderson made this famous,
00:33 but you know, just more of an up-to-date version.
00:35 And I used colors from the Lorac Pro Palette.
00:38 I've gotten a lot of you guys asking me
00:39 how I feel about this palette.
00:41 I really do love it.
00:41 I don't reach for it as often as I wish I would.
00:44 That's amazing!
00:46 Oh my God, my eyeshadow just broke.
00:48 Lovely!
00:50 I really love the colors that I use.
00:52 I think they're beautiful on all different eye colors.
00:54 They're absolutely gorgeous.
00:56 It's something that you wouldn't expect.
00:57 It's not just a black, smoky eye.
00:59 The technique that I am using is extremely easy.
01:02 It looks like it's complex
01:03 when you're looking at me right now,
01:04 but you will be surprised by how easy it is.
01:06 And you can do this technique with any colors
01:08 that your heart desires.
01:10 So I hope you enjoy this look
01:11 and I will see you guys in my next video.
01:13 Bye!
01:14 First thing I am going to do
01:20 is put this Brown Now Grease Paint Stick.
01:22 This is a very old product from MAC.
01:25 You can get a Maybelline Colorstay Tattoo.
01:28 There's one literally in this exact same color,
01:30 but I've already primed my eyes.
01:31 Then over top of that,
01:32 I'm just gonna put this at the base of my lid
01:35 and rub it around with any brush.
01:36 I'm using a precision brush by Sigma,
01:39 and then I use my fingers as well.
01:40 This does not need to be precise.
01:42 Just get the darkness on the bottom of your lid.
01:45 And then I'm gonna go in with Creme Brulee by Makeup Geek.
01:47 Again, I am obsessed with this eyeshadow.
01:51 And I am just gonna rub it around with a Sigma E25,
01:54 I believe it's just like the MAC 217.
01:57 And I'm just gonna put this in the crease.
01:58 Now, just a warning, when you start looks like this,
02:01 it always looks really weird and messed up
02:04 for the first half,
02:05 and then all of a sudden it comes together.
02:07 I'm gonna use the Lorac Pro Palette.
02:08 I'm gonna use this Garnet shade.
02:10 And this is a lot like MAC's Antiqued.
02:13 It's this really beautiful, rusty,
02:16 it's a brown with a red tint in it.
02:19 It is gorgeous.
02:20 It is so similar to MAC's Antiqued.
02:22 I held them next to each other
02:23 and they're the exact same color.
02:25 And I'm just gonna put this on a 242 brush by MAC
02:28 and push this all over the lid, up into my crease.
02:30 A little bit further into my crease than I normally do.
02:33 As you can see, I'm literally putting it in there sideways
02:35 and just dusting it back and forth.
02:38 Then I'm gonna take another Makeup Geek eyeshadow
02:40 in Coco Bear.
02:41 Love this.
02:42 It's similar to MAC's Brown Script,
02:44 but I think I like it even better.
02:45 Her eyeshadows have so much pigment
02:48 and they are so easy to blend.
02:50 It's amazing.
02:51 So anyways, I'm gonna start on the outer corner of my eye,
02:54 really working this into the crease,
02:55 but I'm going to bring it into the inner corner as well
02:58 because this isn't a cat eye look.
03:00 This is a very blown out, smoky eye.
03:02 So you want that color to go just as much upward
03:05 as you do outward.
03:06 You're gonna wanna bring it all the way
03:08 into the inner corner of the eye as well
03:09 when you don't have tons of product on your brush.
03:12 Then I'm gonna take MAC's Copper Ring.
03:14 This is totally optional.
03:15 This look does not need this color,
03:17 but I get so many comments from my subscribers
03:20 telling me all the time that you guys own Copper Ring,
03:22 so I thought I'd throw it in there.
03:23 I just put it on the ball of my eye
03:24 just for an extra pop of dimension.
03:27 Now I'm gonna take MAC's Smolder Eye Kohl.
03:29 L'Oreal has a great eye kohl at the drugstore.
03:32 It's like the exact same thing.
03:33 And just rub this on the base of the lash line
03:36 as sloppy as you want.
03:37 Take any black.
03:38 I'm gonna use the one from the Lorac palette.
03:41 This is kind of a gray though.
03:42 It's not really that black next to other blacks,
03:45 but it doesn't matter.
03:46 Just take it on any smudgy brush and just smoke it out.
03:50 So you just wanna rub it back and forth
03:52 and take it upward.
03:53 And then that outer corner, kind of flick it
03:55 so that you get some depth and dimension
03:57 in that outer corner as well.
03:59 Again, none of this is precise.
04:01 That's why it's such a fun, easy look.
04:03 It's just so smoky.
04:04 Then I'm gonna take Nude.
04:06 For some reason on camera, it's not showing up that much,
04:09 but it has good pigmentation.
04:10 And I'm just gonna use that
04:11 to highlight underneath of my brows.
04:14 Just for that typical highlight
04:15 that I have to have in every video.
04:18 Then I'm gonna take Makeup Forever HD Foundation.
04:20 I am in shade 123, in case you are curious.
04:24 On my Holy Grail Sigma Flat Top Kabuki Brush,
04:26 this is the F80.
04:28 And I know it doesn't match my skin,
04:29 but that's okay because it matches my neck and my body.
04:32 I promise you.
04:34 I use a Clarisonic on my skin every night,
04:36 so my face is never the same color as my body
04:40 'cause I'm constantly exfoliating.
04:41 I'm filling in my brows with the Anastasia Brow Wiz.
04:45 This is in, what's the color?
04:46 Soft brown.
04:48 And I'm giving my brow a lot of definition
04:50 because of the smoky eyes that we're doing
04:53 and this bombshell look that we're going with.
04:54 I wanna give them a lot of arc.
04:57 Okay, and then I'm gonna use
04:58 MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW20.
05:01 I have been using 25, but I'm using 20 for this look
05:03 because this look really calls for a really highlighted face.
05:07 So I'm using 20 in my beauty blender.
05:09 Whoops, sorry about my phone.
05:10 And then I am just going to rub that out
05:12 with my finger in the inner corner.
05:15 And as always, I'm taking Emphasize Pro
05:17 Highlighting Powder by MAC.
05:19 You can get this online.
05:20 You don't have to have a pro card or anything.
05:22 And I'm going to just dab this all under my eye area.
05:25 I'm not using tons of it, just a tiny bit,
05:27 and this will just kind of make everything blend easier
05:30 when we go in with blush and everything else.
05:33 Now that I have that set, I'm gonna do my under eye color.
05:35 I'm using Coco Bear once again,
05:37 the same color by Makeup Geek that I use in my crease.
05:39 And I'm using a 212 brush by MAC.
05:42 And I'm just gonna push this deep into the lash line.
05:44 Make sure you bring it up in that outer corner
05:46 and connect it to the eye shadow that is on top of the eye.
05:50 And then any pencil brush,
05:51 I think this is a Sedona Lace one,
05:53 they all do the same thing.
05:54 And I'm just gonna smoke that out.
05:56 You can go in with more Coco Bear
05:58 or you can grab some Creme Brulee, whatever you want.
06:01 Just make sure that you smoke it out.
06:02 Take your time with this.
06:03 A lot of people are afraid to smoke out
06:05 their bottom lash line really harshly,
06:06 but don't be 'cause this will really complete the look.
06:09 Make sure you connect it to that outer corner
06:11 like you see me doing right now.
06:13 Then I'm gonna take MAC Shroom.
06:15 This is my favorite highlighter
06:17 in the entire world for the eyes.
06:18 And I'm not gonna put it actually in my inner corner,
06:21 like on top of the shadow.
06:22 I'm gonna do it around it just to open up that area
06:26 just to give it more highlight, bring more attention.
06:28 And then just use any mascara
06:30 and put a coat of mascara on the lashes.
06:32 This is by L'Oreal.
06:34 And then throw on any lashes that you want.
06:36 You will see the difference in these eyes with lashes.
06:39 It really completes this look.
06:41 And I do not know what lashes these are.
06:44 It kills me.
06:45 They were not in the right packaging.
06:46 They're beautiful and I have no idea what they are.
06:48 I'm gonna go on a hunt.
06:50 Okay, now I'm gonna use Bobbi Brown Golden Light Bronzer.
06:54 I cannot say enough good things
06:55 about this bronzer right now.
06:56 Seriously, this is my favorite bronzer
06:58 I think I've ever used.
06:59 It is so beautiful.
07:00 It blends out immaculately.
07:02 It is just, it looks like it's airbrushed.
07:05 I'm using the same NARS brush that I used in my last video.
07:08 I hear you guys asking me for all kinds of tutorials on it.
07:11 So I will be doing that soon.
07:14 And I'm just gonna buff this out.
07:15 I'm giving myself a pretty harsh contour
07:17 and then I'm just going to put it along the hairline as well
07:21 just to give a lot of definition and sculpting to the face.
07:25 And then after that,
07:26 I'm going to put mascara on the bottom lashes.
07:28 If you're curious, I'm using Lancome Hypnose.
07:32 If you don't have long bottom lashes,
07:34 you can totally skip this step.
07:35 It's not crazy important, but mine look weird without it.
07:38 Then I'm gonna use MAC Peaches Blush.
07:40 This is a matte blush.
07:41 It's got like an orangey coral in it.
07:44 I'm gonna use a, this is a 129 brush by MAC.
07:47 But you know, they're all the same, like I said,
07:50 all these brands have the same brushes.
07:51 And I'm going to blend that in on the apples of my cheeks
07:54 and mix it with that bronzer to make it look really flawless.
07:57 Then I'm gonna use Hard Candy.
07:59 This is the tiki bronzer, highlighter, whatever.
08:02 And I'm gonna use a big fan brush
08:04 to highlight in my cheekbones.
08:05 I found out that this has mineral oil in it.
08:08 I looked at the ingredients and I'm really, really sad
08:10 because this highlighter is absolutely gorgeous right now.
08:13 So I'm in a sticky situation.
08:15 I don't know what to do.
08:17 Okay, I'm going to use Costa Riche.
08:20 This is an eyeliner.
08:21 It's an eye kohl by MAC.
08:22 And I line my waterline with it
08:24 and it's this beautiful red color.
08:26 If you have light eyes, even brown eyes,
08:29 Kim Kardashian used to wear this all the time.
08:30 It is so beautiful.
08:32 But I knew that a lot of you aren't gonna have
08:35 this red eyeliner or this exact shade.
08:37 So I just wanted to show it to you
08:38 but I'm gonna cover it up with a black eye kohl
08:40 because everyone has that.
08:42 So you can see what it looks like with black.
08:44 Now I'm gonna use two joysticks
08:46 by the Kardashian line, Chroma.
08:49 One is in Babydoll and one is in Au Naturel.
08:53 And I'm going to put both of them on my lips together
08:55 to get a nice nude shade.
08:57 I don't like things super, super washed out nude.
08:59 So to me, this is pretty much as nude as I go.
09:02 And then I'm just gonna go back and do some touch-ups
09:04 just to blend all the eyeshadow out once again,
09:07 just using any blending brush
09:09 just to make sure there's no lines.
09:11 And then I'm gonna set everything
09:12 with Urban Decay Makeup Spray and we are done.
09:16 I hope you enjoy, guys, and I will see you soon.
09:18 Mwah, bye!
