00:31 hair tutorial, perfect for the summer.
00:33 I wanna do some really like intense beachy waves.
00:36 This is kind of inspired by the Tone It Up girls.
00:39 They always have great beachy hair.
00:41 So I am using my NuMe wand today.
00:44 I love this wand, it's the reverse curling wand.
00:46 It's a little bit bigger on the bottom
00:48 and smaller on top.
00:49 That's how I get kind of like the ends to fade out.
00:52 It looks really pretty.

01:34 Okay, so today I am using my NuMe wand.
01:37 I love this wand.
01:39 Literally heats up in seconds and it gets like super hot.
01:42 It gets a little bit thicker at the bottom here to thinner,
01:45 so it's great for like that really beachy,
01:47 more like natural look,
01:49 like it looks like you got out of the beach
01:50 and are out of the, what's it called?
01:53 The ocean.
01:54 And that's why your hair looks like this.
01:56 So that's what we're going for today.
01:58 All right, you guys have seen me do this a million times.
02:00 Take a one inch section with your wand,
02:03 wrap it around, leave two inches out at the ends.
02:07 I start by going away from my face
02:09 and then I do the next section towards my face
02:13 and I keep alternating the curls each time.
02:17 You only have to hold it for a few seconds.
02:19 This wand heats up so fast
02:21 and then make sure that you finger comb each section
02:24 after you're done before they set.
02:26 Move on to the next section and do it the same way.

03:19 Okay, so now we are onto the top half.
03:24 So you want to grab your dry shampoo.
03:26 This is really important to give you lots of volume
03:29 and lots of texture in your hair.
03:31 So I use Batiste, which I've said before.
03:34 I take it right on either side of my part.
03:37 (hair dryer blowing)
03:40 And then on the side of my head.
03:45 My crown.
03:48 And a little like right there.
03:53 Okay, and now go on curling like normal.
04:00 You want to let this sit in your hair
04:02 for a good five to 10 minutes
04:03 and like really work in, soak up all the oils
04:06 and give your hair like lots of nice volume.

04:46 and sometimes the second layer,
04:48 I always spray my L'Oreal Boost It High Lift Creation Spray.
04:51 This is just like teasing in a can and I love it,
04:56 but I'm almost out of it now.
05:01 So now I'm just going to tease, tease, tease, tease.
05:06 Tease, tease, tease.
05:16 Okay, so I tease it as high as it will go.
05:23 See what I mean?
05:30 And I'll fix it.
05:31 But if you guys are having a hard time
05:41 getting your hair to tease, get this spray.
05:44 Seriously, see how good it works.
05:46 And just leave it and curl the rest of your hair.
05:52 Just leave it.
05:53 I know it's probably hard.

06:57 Okay, so now you should have everything curled.
07:00 Go ahead and just tame down that tease a little bit
07:04 and finger comb your hair so it's not like too, too curly.
07:10 Definitely wanna do this on hair
07:25 that is not freshly washed
07:27 because that will give you more texture and volume also.
07:30 Okay, so now for the fun part we want.
07:39 So now we want to go ahead and use a sea salt spray.
07:42 I am using the one from Tigi.
07:44 Just spray it all over
07:48 and start to really scrunch your hair up,
07:53 mess it up.
07:54 (spraying)
07:56 Get underneath.
07:59 (spraying)
08:01 I'll even use a comb a little bit to kind of tease it up.
08:18 (spraying)
08:21 You wanna keep the tippy top kind of smooth.
08:29 I mean, you can make it teased obviously,
08:30 but not too, too frizzy.
08:33 Okay, so that side's pretty much how I want it.
08:38 Now I'm gonna work on this side.

08:45 Okay, so now you can leave it like this,
08:57 but I'm going to change it up a little bit,
09:00 do something a little bit more fun.
09:01 Okay, so this part is super easy.
09:03 All you need are four bobby pins.
09:06 So trust me when I say it's so quick and easy,
09:09 but it's a great technique to do
09:12 if your bangs aren't going the way that you want them to.
09:15 So that happens to me a lot,
09:16 like they just don't curl right
09:17 or they're not laying right.
09:19 So I do this real quick,
09:20 pin them up and it makes them look better.
09:23 So all you do is just grab the front few pieces
09:25 and then I kind of bring it like over my tease section,
09:31 right behind my ear,
09:35 open my bobby pin
09:38 and slip it in.
09:41 Take another bobby pin
09:45 and go the opposite way,
09:48 go from under if I can get it.
09:51 Okay.
09:59 Same thing on the other side, so quick.
10:03 Take your bangs
10:07 over the teased area,
10:09 right at your ear,
10:12 pin once,
10:15 take your other bobby pin,
10:18 pin twice,
10:24 bring some hair out.
10:28 Okay, so see how quick that is?
10:34 And I think it looks really cute too.
10:36 And then it doesn't change the back.
10:37 So you don't even need to worry about like looking in a mirror
10:39 and making sure it looks good in the back
10:41 because you're not even messing with the back at all.
