00:00 Hi my angels and welcome back to my channel. So recently it was the premiere of the Bajirao
00:25 Mustani movie trailer. So for those of you guys who have no idea what I'm talking about,
00:30 Bajirao Mustani is a new Bollywood movie coming out in December and one of my favorite actresses
00:36 and beauty and style icons called Deepika Padukone was wearing a look very similar to this
00:43 and I was so inspired by this makeup look because it was something so simple yet so elegant, so chic
00:51 but so glamorous at the same time and I was like I cannot wait to film this look and put it onto
00:56 my channel. So that is what I am here to show you guys today. So I have got a very similar hairstyle
01:01 to what she was wearing and including my jewelry and top as well. So yeah I guess if you would like
01:08 to see how to get this makeup look then please keep watching. So as you can see my hair is all
01:15 already done and then I'm moving straight onto skin. So I'm putting some of this Pixi makeup
01:20 fixing mist onto my face and it smells so lovely and rosy and fresh. I'm just patting that into my
01:26 skin before moving on to the eyes. So I'm using these post-it stickies and I'm keeping a few
01:33 millimeters space underneath my eyes like you can see here so we have a really nice dramatic wing
01:39 that we're going to create next. Then I wanted to put a base on my eyelids so here I'm using the
01:45 Too Faced shadow insurance in Lemon Drop. I have no idea why my eyelids look so red and sore,
01:51 they didn't hurt but I have no idea why they're so red. I'm just putting this on to act as a nice
01:56 base and then I'm taking WOS from the Naked Basics 1 palette and I'm just putting that all over my
02:03 eyelid as a really nice neutral eyeshadow shade which matches the rest of my eyes. Now for the
02:10 dramatic eyeliner I first went in with a gel eyeliner, this is the one from Anastasia Beverly
02:14 Hills and you want to make sure that the eye line that we do doesn't go too far up where our eye
02:20 crease is. So what I'm doing first is I'm getting this product on a lip brush and I'm just going
02:25 ahead and lining my upper lash line. It doesn't have to be very neat but we're just going to
02:30 slowly map out where we want this line and then we're going to try and kind of even the top part
02:35 of the eyeliner out. So you want to make it as smooth as possible and then you also want to drag
02:41 the product out to where the sticky tape is. And here I'm just fixing up the line to make sure it's
02:47 nice and smooth and the next step that you want to do is grab a matte black shade of eyeshadow,
02:52 this is the one from the Naked Basics palette as well and you want to pack that product on top of
02:57 the eyeliner. This is going to reduce any kind of eyeliner of the gel transferring onto your eyelids
03:04 and it's going to make everything look more intense. Now I'm going to do the exact same
03:08 thing onto the other eye and you want to try and make sure that both of your eyes are looking as
03:13 even as possible as always and you want to try and make sure that it's looking as neat as possible as
03:18 well. So you want to make sure that the line that you can see right at the top of the eyeliner is
03:24 really nice and smooth. And again we want to make sure that we go on top with a black matte eyeshadow
03:31 to lock everything in place and this is a crucial, crucial step because otherwise you're going to get
03:36 product transferring on to your eyelids. So here you can see me just packing that colour on and
03:41 just making sure that every little bit is covered. And once I was happy with that kind of stage I
03:48 went and took all of the sticky tapes off so I could see what it was looking like afterwards.
03:53 Then I basically grabbed that same gel eyeliner and I lined my upper waterline. This actually
03:59 worked really, really well because I didn't get any transferring onto my lower lash line at all.
04:04 And then I moved on to mascara and for that I'm using the Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara from
04:09 Maybelline and I'm just putting a good coat of this onto my eyelashes. I didn't want to do
04:14 anything too dramatic because we were going to go in with some really dramatic long eyelashes.
04:20 For the eyelashes I used Wispy Sweet Nothing from Velour and I'm just applying these on to my top
04:26 lashes as you can see here. And I felt like these would be the perfect shape because Lipika looked
04:31 like she was wearing very kind of long and curled lashes. So I thought these would be the perfect
04:38 kind of ones to go for. And once I'd got them on I wanted to cover up any band that you could see,
04:43 so I'm just taking the Maybelline Matte Mastering Eyeliner and doing that. And this dries max so
04:48 you're not going to be able to see any glossiness when your eyes are shut. So once that's all done
04:53 I'm wiping any kind of fallout underneath my eyes because obviously we used a very,
04:59 very dark eyeshadow so you want to make sure that your base isn't done first. So once I was happy
05:04 with that and I sharpened up the edges of the eyeliner, I moved on to my foundation and for
05:09 that I used the Maybelline Matte and Poreless Foundation because Lipika looked like she had
05:13 very kind of matte skin. She didn't really look like she had anything glossy going on. So I'm
05:18 just applying this all over my face with my damp beauty blender and again just doubling up the
05:22 coverage and any areas that I felt like I needed it. You can use your favorite foundation in this
05:27 stage, you don't have to use this one. And then I moved on to my lips very, very quickly. I'm just
05:31 putting the Bestam Beauty Lip Mask on my lips just so that they're nice and hydrated before we put
05:36 any lipstick on at the end of this tutorial. Next up was to fill in my brows. I will leave a full
05:43 link of my brow routine in the info box below, but in this look I wanted to make sure that I
05:48 kind of did thicker brows because Lipika has very, very nice full brows and unfortunately I'm not
05:54 blessed with full brows so I had to kind of work with what I had. And so once I was done with that,
05:58 I moved on to concealer and I'm using the Naked Skin Concealer from Urban Decay in the shade Light
06:04 Neutral. And I'm basically being very careful when I draw this underneath my eyes because you don't
06:09 want to kind of go into any of the eyeshadow. But I'm putting triangles underneath my eyes,
06:14 putting a little bit on my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, around my mouth and my chin,
06:18 before I blend all of that away with my damp beauty blender as always. And again, you don't
06:24 have to do this step, but this is just personally how I like to highlight my face, just so that it
06:29 doesn't look very, very flat. Then I moved on to a very, very natural cream contour. So I'm using my
06:35 Laura Mercier Contour Palette to contour my cheeks and the brush that I'm using is the Real Techniques
06:41 Contour Brush. And as you can see, it just gives a very, very natural contour because Lipika has
06:47 amazingly chiseled cheeks and just a chiseled goddessly face. So I wanted to make sure mine was
06:53 looking as similar to that as possible. And then I also did slightly contour my nose as well. And
06:59 I blended those lines away with my damp beauty blender. So once I was done with all those stages,
07:06 it was time to set everything. So I set my under eyes using the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting
07:10 Powder, and I'm using a damp Real Techniques sponge to do this. I really like the flat
07:15 edge of this. I feel like it works really well for setting the under eyes and all of that.
07:19 And then for the concealer, I set it using the Hoola Bronzer by Benefit. So I'm just going over
07:26 the areas where we contoured with the cream contour. And I'm using this amazing Kevin Aucoin
07:30 brush, which I got recently. You can get it from Cult Beauty, which I will link in the info box
07:35 below for you all. I think it's such a good brush. So once I was done with that, I added the slightest
07:41 natural highlight to my cheeks. And I used the Kevin Aucoin Celestial Powder for that. You can
07:46 use your favorite highlight if you really want to, but this just gives a very natural daytime,
07:51 everyday glow. For my cheeks for blush, I wanted to go with something pinky because that's what
07:56 Libba Guy looked like she was wearing. So here I'm taking the Physicians Formula Blush in the shade
08:01 pink, I believe this is. And I'm just putting this on to my cheeks just to give me the slightest bit
08:06 of color. Now we're going to fix the eyeliner. So I'm taking that same Master Ink Matte Eyeliner
08:12 from Maybelline and I am winging my eye out. So you don't want to do anything too dramatic.
08:19 You just want to make sure that the eyeliner has got a thick, strong wing on the outer part.
08:27 So you can kind of see me doing it here. It's quite hard to explain, but you just want to make
08:30 sure you're not thinning it out. You're keeping it very chunky. For my lower waterline, I use the
08:36 Rimmel Nude Eyeliner. So here I'm just putting a little bit of that on to my lower lash line.
08:42 And once I am done with that, I'm just cleaning up the wing ever so slightly with some concealer.
08:49 So now there's only a couple more steps to go. We're doing our mascara. So we're finishing the
08:54 bottom lashes off. So I'm using the same Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara on to my lower
08:59 lashes, just to give them some sort of definition. And the eyes are now complete. For lips, I use
09:05 the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream first in the shade Abu Dhabi. But the more I kind of looked at this
09:11 look, I felt like it was too kind of warm, and I wanted to cool it up a little bit. So I did go
09:18 over the top with the same lip cream, but in the shade London, just to kind of make it a little
09:24 bit more cooler and a little bit more browner. And that, you guys, is the final look. I am totally
09:32 obsessed with this makeup. I think it's such a glamorous look to wear for pretty much any
09:38 occasion, especially party season coming up, if you want something very chic and glamorous.
09:42 But I personally really, really, really love it. And of course, I love the figure. If you would
09:47 like to see any more Bollywood-inspired looks, please leave me comments below.
09:51 And I guess that's all for now. And I will see you all in my next video. Bye.
