00:00 Hey guys, this is Jen from Head to Toe and I know it's been such a long time since my last video.
00:06 As I said in my last one, I have been in the process of moving and I moved across the country from the Midwest and now I'm in LA.
00:16 So I know a lot of you guys were wondering like, "Oh, did you move to LA? Did you move to California?"
00:22 Yes, I did. I came out here and I've been out here so much in the last year. I absolutely love it out here.
00:28 I'm really excited and I'm really scared because it's such a big change for me. You know, I'm just like a Midwest girl.
00:35 You know, I'm not like used to these big cities.
00:37 Today I thought I would do the tag that I missed a while ago. It's my favorite summer things tag.
00:45 And I thought it would be appropriate since this is actually the last day of summer for this year.
00:51 So I think, you know, it's a pretty good roundup of the whole summer and what I've been using.
00:57 Oh, and I also want to say a tutorial will be coming next week.
01:01 I'm not just trying to toss in these tag videos to push it off or anything.
01:06 I will be doing that once I have furniture.
01:09 We've been sleeping on an air mattress.
01:11 So when we have all of our things and we're all settled, I will definitely be getting right back into the tutorials.
01:18 So anyway, my favorite summer things tag.
01:21 But the first one is what is your most worn nail polish?
01:27 So for me, obviously my favorites videos, I've mentioned some of these throughout the summer.
01:31 I have been wearing this polish a lot. It's from China Glaze.
01:35 It's one of their neons. It's called Surfing for Boys.
01:38 And it's this really gorgeous pinky hot orange kind of hybrid coral color.
01:45 I just love it. I love it on my fingers. I love it on my toes.
01:48 I think it is a really good representation of summertime and wanting bright colors and everything.
01:54 So this is my first summer favorite.
01:56 Number two, what's your most worn hair product?
01:58 And for me, that has to be this.
02:01 This is Shu Uemura Art of Hair Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil.
02:07 It's a mouthful.
02:09 This is a hair serum. I forgot to say that.
02:11 After I shower, I put it in my hair and it makes my hair so soft and silky.
02:16 I used to use Biosilk all the time.
02:19 Biosilk. I don't remember exactly what it's called.
02:22 The serum from Biosilk that everybody loves.
02:24 I do still like that, but I feel like that's a little bit heavier than this.
02:29 And I think it might have silicones. I'm not sure.
02:32 This one doesn't have any silicones.
02:34 It smells heavenly.
02:37 Like a flower that isn't too floral.
02:41 It's just really nice and light and it makes my hair feel so healthy.
02:47 It doesn't feel like I put anything heavy or sticky in my hair.
02:50 So I've been loving, loving, loving this.
02:52 Number three is what's your most worn bag?
02:55 And that has to be this one right here.
02:57 I just got it not a crazy long time ago,
03:02 but I wanted to include it because I've been wearing it literally nonstop since I purchased it.
03:09 It's from the Coach Legacy Collection.
03:12 I love the giant tassels.
03:14 I'm a huge fan of anything with tassels or little details like that.
03:19 And it's just leather.
03:21 I don't have a ton of Coach stuff.
03:24 I'm not usually somebody who wears things with big logos on it,
03:29 but my mom had some of these really old school vintage Coach bags that had the turn lock.
03:36 And I love anything with a turn lock.
03:38 I really love Coach vintage leather bags.
03:42 And the Legacy Collection, from what I understand,
03:45 it's sort of like bringing that old style back.
03:48 So I'm a huge fan of that.
03:50 I got really lucky because I found this at a Coach factory store,
03:53 so it was super discounted.
03:55 And I was so excited because it's actually selling in the regular Coach store.
03:59 So it just has the little silver logo in the back.
04:02 And it actually fits more stuff than you'd think.
04:05 It's just a really simple sort of like brightly colored bag.
04:10 I like blue because it matches anything.
04:12 I can just wear it with like any outfit.
04:14 I think it also comes in like red and green and a couple other colors,
04:17 but this is the one I've been wearing all the time.
04:21 The next question is, "What are your most worn shoes?"
04:25 So that is a tie between two different ones.
04:29 First, these are my Sam Edelman sort of like T-strap flat sandals.
04:36 I wear this pretty much any time I'm leaving the house to run errands
04:41 just because they're flat so I can walk miles in these.
04:45 And the other pair of shoes that I've been wearing a ton of are these wedges.
04:50 They're by Report, and I bought them at Nordstrom Rack.
04:54 And they just have a little ankle strap.
04:56 They're like woven.
04:58 And what I like is the wedge heel.
05:01 It means they're really easy to walk in, and they make my legs look longer.
05:05 So I've been loving those.
05:07 Okay, so the next question is, "What are your most worn accessories?"
05:10 And I actually wore them today because I knew I'd be doing this video.
05:14 So there's three different things.
05:16 My rings, I've been really into these like stacking rings.
05:20 I have a few different sterling silver just kind of like simple kind of rings.
05:26 I have several. Today I'm just wearing three of them.
05:28 I've also been wearing these earrings a ton.
05:31 This one's a lock, and this side is a key.
05:34 I bought these at a thrift store, so I don't even know.
05:38 I think they're kind of like handmade.
05:40 They don't even have any markings on them, so I'm not sure where they're from.
05:44 But I love them, and again, they kind of--I feel like they match everything.
05:48 So I've been wearing these a lot.
05:50 And then this necklace, I have a little bow necklace.
05:54 It's just a little silver bow. I bought this from ASOS last year, maybe two years ago.
06:00 I'm not exactly sure.
06:02 But I love it. It's just simple. It hangs down at the right length on me.
06:07 And again, it matches everything.
06:09 With all the moving, I only have just like a little bit of jewelry that I've been wearing every single day
06:15 that just kind of matches everything.
06:17 So those are my go-to things this summer.
06:19 The next question is, "What's your most worn clothing item?"
06:22 Maybe you guys could even kind of guess this one.
06:26 I wore it a lot during "Away We Happened."
06:29 Wes from Wong Fu Productions, he kept joking that it's my jean jacket
06:35 because my character's name was Jean on "Away We Happened."
06:38 So this is my light denim jean jacket.
06:41 Honestly, this was like super cheap.
06:44 I got it from Stephen Berry's, I think it was called.
06:48 It's like not even in business anymore because they closed down.
06:51 Jean jackets are something that kind of go in and out of style like every four or five years.
06:56 So I don't throw away my jean jackets because I know they're going to come back.
07:01 This wasn't that cool when I bought it, but then it went out of style and now it's back in style.
07:06 So I've been wearing this nearly every single day.
07:09 Basically every time I leave the house, I grab it in case I get cold.
07:12 So, light denim jean jacket.
07:14 Okay, so number seven is, "What's your most worn foundation?"
07:18 And I talked about this one in my last favorites video.
07:21 I'm wearing my Everyday Minerals Mineral Foundation.
07:24 I was using quite a lot of different liquid and cream foundations the early half of the summer
07:31 and my skin really kind of broke out.
07:34 And I don't know if it's just the heat and the humidity combined with the things that are in the liquid foundations,
07:40 but I have really sensitive skin.
07:42 And ever since I've been using this, my skin has really calmed down a lot.
07:47 So I feel like one of the reasons I was breaking out was trying all of these different foundations.
07:52 So I used this when I first got into makeup, which was, I don't know how many years ago.
07:57 It was a long time ago.
07:58 So I went back to it and the great thing about minerals is they don't ever go bad.
08:03 They don't hold bacteria.
08:04 So I pulled out my really old foundation and I've been loving this, wearing this pretty much every day,
08:11 anytime I have to leave the house.
08:12 It's not the best photogenic kind of makeup because it does reflect light.
08:18 So if you're doing any sort of like flash photography or doing filming like this, it's probably not the best option.
08:25 I probably look a little bit shiny because it's reflecting a little bit differently.
08:28 But on a day-to-day basis, it looks so natural.
08:33 It feels so natural and it doesn't break me out.
08:36 So yeah, that's been my go-to this summer.
08:38 Okay, so the next question is, "What's your most worn blush?"
08:42 Again, again, again, again, with the whole moving process, I have put all of my makeup, it's all packed away.
08:49 And this is the one that I've kept out.
08:52 It's the Balm Frat Boy.
08:54 So I really do like this, but honestly, I miss my Coralista Benefit blush because it just has a little bit more glow to it.
09:07 So I would say this is my most worn, but my favorite is probably, for the summer, is probably Benefit Coralista.
09:14 So I like both of those.
09:16 This is just a matte, peachy pink blush.
09:19 And I'm wearing it today and it's just, it's very flattering for every day.
09:23 I would use the light hand because it's very, very pigmented.
09:26 But the good thing is it's not chalky.
09:28 So I think it probably would work on a very wide range of skin tones.
09:33 So my most worn lip product, this was also in my last favorites video, it's the Holika Holika Juicy Shine Lip Balm.
09:40 It is a tinted lip balm and I am wearing it right now.
09:44 I have been grabbing this for like every single occasion.
09:49 And the reason is because it's moisturizing, plus it gives color.
09:53 Also, after it wears off, it kind of leaves a nice pink stain on your lips. So you don't have to keep reapplying all the time.
10:03 This one's the raspberry one.
10:05 And number 10 is what's your most worn mascara.
10:07 This is my favorite mascara for like pretty much this whole last year.
10:11 And it is the Urban Decay Canon Ball.
10:14 This is a very waterproof mascara.
10:17 It holds my curl really well. It has fibers in it so it's lengthening.
10:21 But I will also say that on really, really long days this summer, I do find little fiber particles on my face.
10:33 It will kind of like flake off.
10:35 So I don't know if this is for everybody. I don't know if contact wearers would be really good with this.
10:41 I think after I'm done with this tube, I might go back to my favorite CoverGirl Lash Exact Waterproof Mascara.
10:49 Just to compare since it's been probably about a year since I've used it.
10:55 It was my old to kind of fall back standby.
10:57 So we'll see.
10:59 I do love this though.
11:01 This is my current favorite, but I just want to make sure it's really my favorite.
11:06 But I love this. I do recommend it if you haven't tried it yet.
11:09 So the very last question is what's your most worn eyeshadow this summer.
11:13 And that has to be my old school Stila Barbie palette.
11:17 So this was an eyeshadow palette maybe was that like two years ago?
11:23 It kills me that this was limited edition.
11:26 But I know you can get these trios individually just like directly from Stila.
11:33 So I've been using these three quite a lot.
11:35 I'll put this on the lid and contour with that and highlight with that.
11:38 And I've also been using this silvery charcoal color like crazy.
11:44 I'll just do like an entire smoked out eyeliner thing with that gray.
11:50 And with this navy blue I'll use that and play some black.
11:54 And that dark brown is good with this lighter copper color.
11:58 So I've just been using this to death because it's just super easy to travel with.
12:02 Again, Stila if you're listening to me please come out with this palette again.
12:06 It's one of my favorite palettes of all time.
