00:12 do a basically battle of the cleansing balms. I don't know about you guys, but I've been hearing so much stuff about cleansing balms.

00:20 makeup wipes are not good for you, but when you're so lazy at night, like it's so easy to just, you know,
00:26 take a makeup wipe, take off your makeup, then cleanse your face. But since this year,
00:30 I decided to really focus on skincare and really clearing out my skin.
00:34 I decided to give cleansing balms a chance and I've been loving them.
00:39 Even though sometimes I really don't feel like it, it just feels so good to just remove your makeup with a hot cloth and just,
00:44 yeah, it just feels amazing, I have to admit. Even when you feel lazy, it just, it feels really nice.
00:52 So I've been pretty good. I've been using them, like I said, for two weeks each so I could review them for you today.
00:58 So let's start with the first one that I have. It's from the Body Shop and it is the Chamomile
01:04 Sumptuous Cleansing Butter.
01:06 So this is the cheapest of the bunch. If you compare, I will add like the number like for gram.

01:19 But Body Shop always have like a really good promotion. I got mine at like 72% off because I
01:26 can explain quickly, like Body Shop, it's easy. They always have like 50% off. If you have their card,

01:43 So basically got my cleansing balm at 72% off and which makes it like extremely cheap, really affordable.

01:54 I really personally like the scent. It is a
01:58 solid transparent whitish consistency as you can see.
02:03 So as you massage it into your skin, it will start melting off your makeup and then you add a little

02:13 Then you add a little bit of warm water into your face and it starts to get a little bit more milky.
02:18 Not the most milky one of the bunch but still and it just feels amazing, did not irritate my skin.
02:25 Took off my makeup, left my face feeling really soft and moisturized. Plus personally, I like the packaging. It's like a tint container.
02:34 Personally, this one I haven't used on my eyes. You can do it, but it just haven't pretty.
02:40 This is the first one I tried and I was just using normal remover, eye makeup remover on my eyes.
02:45 Then we'd use this on my face and it did a really nice job. I really liked it.
02:50 I thought it might irritate my skin because I have really really sensitive skin and it did not. My cheeks were not even red,

03:27 So after I'm done using this one in the backup that I have, I will not repurchase this.
03:32 Not because it's not a good cleansing balm, because it is. It's just that I found something that I like better.
03:38 The second one that I have, it is the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm.
03:44 This is like a cult favorite. Everybody loves this and I agree with them.
03:50 Again, same type of cleansing balm. It is clear and it is solid and when you massage it into your skin, it melts off.
03:57 Some people said it was drying, but I haven't had any issue with it and I have extremely dry skin, so I don't know about that.
04:05 But yeah, it took off my makeup really well. When you add a little bit of water, it starts to melt.
04:11 It becomes a little bit more milky, a little bit more than the Body Shop one.
04:15 Again, I did not try to remove my eye makeup with this, just because this was the second one that I tried
04:23 and I was just using normal eye makeup remover, so I can't say about that, but it did remove my face makeup really, really well.
04:30 This one is unscented, so I would recommend this. If you're looking to try the cleansing balm, any cleansing balm,
04:37 this is the one I would recommend, just because it's unscented. There's like really few ingredients,
04:42 so there's like almost no chance you will have any reaction to it.
04:47 And yeah, it does a great job. It is somewhat affordable, it is like in between the two other ones that I'm talking about.
04:54 But yeah, pretty affordable for the price. You get quite a lot. So it will last you forever, because like you can see,
05:01 I've used it for over two weeks and that's all, it's gone. So it will last me forever, especially since I have so many now.
05:11 So this one would be the one I would recommend for first users, for anyone that has like really sensitive skin,
05:17 this is the one to try, because it is not the most expensive one and it is the one that has no scent
05:23 and I haven't had any issue with drying out my skin or irritating it, so this is the one I would recommend to anyone.

05:36 The last one I'm reviewing for you today is the REN No.1 Purity Cleansing Balm.
05:41 So again, a huge container, actually the biggest one of them all. It is the most expensive one.
05:47 Again, I will just let a little mark saying price. This is the only one that's actually a yellowy colour.
05:56 The consistency is a little bit different from the two other ones and it is one of the issues I have with the product.
06:02 It is a little bit more sticky and as you rinse it off, it leaves your skin feeling sticky, which I'm not the biggest fan of.
06:11 I had no issue with the two other ones with that. And the second issue I have is the scent.
06:17 It's supposed to be smelling like rosa, sedifolia, which I suppose is somewhat roses, but...
06:27 It doesn't smell bad, it's just that it reminds me of those bug candles.
06:36 You know, the candles that you use to not scare bugs, but make them go away.
06:43 And yeah, it really smells like that to me. Like... Oh, what's this?
06:50 I'll just leave the name or something on the screen, but yeah, that's what it smells like, which is my issue.
06:57 But the problem is, I love this. So as the other one, I would put this on, massage it into my skin to remove the makeup,
07:05 add a little water, and this one turns extremely milky, which I really, really enjoy.
07:10 I wish the two other ones were actually doing this. But, like I said, when I remove it, it leaves my face feeling a little sticky,
07:17 like there's something still on there. And then I usually use my normal cleanser afterwards, but still.
07:23 The next morning, this is the one that makes my skin look the best, which I'm really torn because I prefer the Clinique one when I'm using it,
07:33 except the fact that it doesn't turn as milky as the REN one. But I like that it leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth and clean.
07:42 But the REN one leaves my skin feeling a little sticky, even though it feels clean. It's just that the next morning, my skin seems to prefer the REN.
07:52 So basically right now, I'm kind of torn. I'm not sure which one I will be repurchasing.
07:57 The good thing is I still have a lot of products, so I can really use them and really try and decide which one I like the most.
08:04 But as of now, I'm really confused. This one I actually tried using on my eyes, and it removed my makeup really well.
08:10 As long as you don't have a crazy amount of makeup. If I'm just wearing a little bit of mascara every day, it's fine. It removes your makeup.
08:17 But if you have, like today, a lot of eye makeup going on, I would remove my makeup first.
08:23 So, in conclusion, I'm not sure which one I will be repurchasing. Like I said, I still have a lot of products, so I can try them a little bit better
08:35 and try to decide which one I like the most. But like I said, the next morning, my skin seems to prefer the REN.

08:46 Not that it really caused any bumps or anything on my face, but almost, if I can say that.
