10 Heatless Hairstyles for Fall

00:20 So for today's video, I wanted to show you.
00:22 I got my dark lip, my dark nails,
00:24 and I'm just celebrating fall in all of its glory.
00:26 So for today's video, I wanted to go ahead and show you
00:28 some really simple, really easy heatless hairstyles
00:31 that you can rock on an everyday basis.
00:32 And these hairstyles are all so perfect
00:34 to go with those fall sweaters, fall hats,
00:36 and every other fall accessory that I know
00:38 you got lying in your closet.
00:40 So if you're interested, just sit back, relax,
00:41 and let's get into the video.
00:43 Whoa, here's a shocker.
00:44 So my hair is actually pretty short.
00:46 I recently got a haircut, and I've really
00:48 been missing my long locks that I used to have.
00:50 So for today's hairstyles, I decided
00:51 to incorporate my Luxy Seamless Hair Extensions.
00:54 And the colors I'm going to be using specifically today
00:56 are the Ombre Chestnut and the Ombre Blonde.
00:58 Together, these are a perfect match for my hair.
01:00 So I just grab the two shades, clip them right
01:01 on top of each other, and then I go ahead
01:03 and put them into my hair.

01:07 So now that all my extensions are clipped in and blended,
01:13 here are 10 heatless hairstyles for the fall.
01:15 So heading into a right away, I want
01:16 to show you this cute little half-up ponytail
01:18 that I always do.
01:19 Instead of bringing your hair back like most people do,
01:21 I actually like to bring it right up.
01:23 This creates a lot more volume right at the roots,
01:25 and it gets your ponytail to look a lot more effortless
01:27 and cute.
01:29 After you have all your hair combed back,
01:30 you're just going to secure that down with a little elastic.
01:33 And then I like taking a little comb
01:34 and actually pulling at the roots even more just
01:36 to create more volume and more texture right in that area.
01:40 And that's it.
01:41 This hairstyle is so effortless, so chic,
01:43 and it honestly suits everybody.

01:48 This next hairstyle is a little bit of a variation
01:56 of the half-updo as well.
01:57 You're just going to grab half of your hair,
01:58 and you're going to want to secure that down
02:00 in a little pony.
02:01 And then in order to hide the elastic,
02:02 I just grab a strand of hair, twist it right around,
02:05 and then make sure to bobby pin it right into place.
02:07 And what this does is it creates the illusion of no elastic,
02:10 and your hair just looks knotted into perfection.
02:13 So you can either sport the hair just like that,
02:14 or what I like to do sometimes is
02:16 create a little bun in the back.
02:17 So I just twist my hair around each other,
02:19 and then taking a little elastic, I secure that too.
02:21 I just love it.
02:22 It looks really tumbler-y and really nice
02:24 and so effortless as well.
02:27 If you don't want your bun to droop down,
02:28 another alternative is just to pin it up,
02:30 and then this just cleans up the look a little bit.
02:34 So this next hairstyle is perfect for those
02:36 of you who love braids.
02:37 After splitting my hair down to two,
02:39 I'm actually going to start braiding right
02:41 in the middle of my ear.
02:42 As you can see, I'm incorporating more hair
02:44 into the braid just so I can grab all the hair at once.
02:46 Once you guys get to the bottom of the ear,
02:48 you're going to want to start fishtailing.
02:49 So in order to fishtail, what you actually have to do
02:51 is you're just grabbing a little piece,
02:52 and then you're bringing it back,
02:53 grabbing another little piece, bringing it back.
02:55 It is really simple.
02:56 You can see exactly what I'm doing.
02:58 I'm just grabbing a little piece from the front,
03:00 bringing it back, and joining it into the hair,
03:02 and then grabbing another little piece, bringing it back,
03:04 joining it once again.
03:05 And then you repeat this process all the way down.
03:07 And it gets really, really easy once you guys practice this,
03:10 and it gives it a really cool textured effect.
03:12 Once you guys get relatively low to the braid,
03:17 you're just going to want to tie that off,
03:18 leaving some excess at the bottom.
03:19 And then you're going to want to do the exact same thing
03:21 on the other side of your head.
03:23 I definitely think that it's more flattering
03:25 to pull out a few pieces in the front of my head.
03:27 It just frames my face a lot nicer,
03:28 which is what I like to do.
03:30 And then in order to make these braids look full and thick
03:32 like you guys always see on Instagram and on Pinterest,
03:35 this is a trick.
03:35 You're actually just going to want to pull at the braid.
03:37 As you can see, I'm just taking little strands of the braid,
03:39 pulling it out while holding down the elastic.
03:42 And it gives it a really full look.
03:43 I mean, look at that difference.
03:44 That's incredible.
03:46 Once your braids are all done and secure
03:47 and looking all big and nice, you're all finished.
03:49 And I love to accessorize this hairstyle.
03:51 I love adding my little fedora hat.
03:53 I think it looks so cute with this.
03:54 And it gives me real fall vibes.
03:56 After that last hairstyle, this one is a breeze.
04:00 You're just taking your little front strands.
04:02 You're going to twist them away from your face
04:04 and then clip them right in the back of your head.
04:06 And then I just like to pull at the little strands
04:08 just to give them a bit more volume.
04:09 And that's it.
04:10 It's so great, so majestic looking.
04:11 And it looks like you did a little rope twist.
04:13 I love it.
04:15 So for this next hairstyle, we're
04:17 actually just going to continue off of the last one.
04:19 I'm just taking two little elastics
04:20 and I'm creating little pigtails right
04:22 at the bottom of my ear.
04:23 I'm doing that on both sides.
04:24 And then once again, to hide the elastic,
04:26 I'm grabbing a little piece of hair,
04:27 twisting it right around, and then bobby pinning it just
04:30 to hide the little excess.
04:31 I thought this hairstyle was just
04:33 the perfect little twist on the regular pigtails.
04:35 And guys, come on.
04:35 You're never too old to wear pigtails.
04:37 They're still my favorite hairstyle even today.
04:39 This next hairstyle is by far one of my favorites
04:45 and so perfect for those of you that
04:46 are scared of doing braids.
04:48 You're just going to want to grab two little pieces of hair
04:49 just from both sides of your head, as you see,
04:51 and then secure them together with a little pigtail.
04:54 And then pulling your finger right through,
04:55 you're going to want to take and twist the little ponytail
04:58 that you just created.
04:59 And then once again, you're going
04:59 to repeat the same process, incorporating more hair
05:02 each time.
05:03 So as you can see, grabbing two pieces of hair,
05:05 you're going to tie them together.
05:06 And again, you're going to pull it
05:07 right through that little hole you just created.
05:10 And then this gives you a really cool fishtail effect,
05:12 especially when you guys work your way down.
05:14 It looks so amazing.
05:15 And I'm not even joking.
05:16 I just did this five times.
05:17 And it's honestly such a great way
05:18 to get that fishtail effect for those of you who don't know
05:21 how to do a fishtail braid.
05:23 Seriously, though, with this hairstyle,
05:25 I actually fooled a couple of people.
05:26 And it's also a great one to accessorize.
05:28 I love adding a little baseball cap.
05:30 I think it's really cute for the fall time.
05:31 And it definitely complements this look really, really well.

05:37 Keeping with the whole twist theme, we're going to go ahead
05:41 and we're going to twist some more.
05:43 And actually, to create this little twist, all I'm doing
05:45 is I'm taking the front strands of my hair
05:47 and then I'm kind of twisting them away in this motion.
05:49 And each time I'm doing it, I'm gathering a little bit more
05:51 hair and incorporating it into the twist.
05:53 So it's kind of like a little French twist.
05:55 I love doing that.
05:56 And I either secure that down with some elastics or bobby
05:59 pins, and it gives your face a really nice framed effect.
06:01 And it looks beautiful, like you're actually wearing
06:04 a crown all day, everyday girl.

06:09 It's honestly going to surprise you guys how easy
06:12 this next hairstyle is.
06:14 All you're going to want to do is just gather two strands
06:16 right at the bottom of your hair, just like that.
06:18 And then you're going to want to pull them back.
06:19 And taking an elastic, you're just
06:20 going to want to tie that off.
06:22 And you can either tie it off into a ponytail,
06:24 but I like making it into a really, really loose bun.
06:26 And that's it.
06:27 Take out some front pieces just to frame your face,
06:29 and that's it.
06:30 It looks so loose, so messy, so Tumblr.
06:32 My total fave.
06:35 And pairing this look with a beanie is my absolute favorite.
06:37 For some reason, it just looks really messy, but still cute.
06:40 I just love it.
06:41 And these hats are my total favorite,
06:42 especially in the fall time.
06:44 If you can't already tell, I love braid hairstyles,
06:46 but I really like keeping them simple.
06:48 So for this next one, you're just
06:49 going to create two simple braids right
06:51 at the side of your head.
06:52 After tying it off, you're going to want to pull at it just
06:54 to create more thickness and texture in each of the braids.
06:57 And then you're just going to want
06:57 to wrap it right around your head
06:59 and bobby pin it into place.
07:00 And if you have any loose ends, make sure to pin them down
07:03 as well.
07:04 And that's it, guys.
07:05 Greek goddess hair.
07:06 How simple was that?
07:07 So simple, so easy, but so B-E-A-utiful.
07:12 Wear a big, full blanket scarf with this,
07:14 and I'm telling you, girl, you're trending.
07:16 And for all you simple gals out there
07:18 that just love rocking a simple ponytail,
07:20 I'm just leaving some pieces in the front loose,
07:22 and then I'm just tying off my hair in the back.
07:24 And then taking a little piece of hair,
07:25 instead of wrapping it right around,
07:27 I'm actually going to create a braid first,
07:28 and then I'm going to wrap it right around
07:30 and bobby pin it into place just to hide the elastic.
07:32 And that's actually it.
07:33 It's so perfect for those of you that
07:35 don't have a lot of time to spend on your hair
07:36 in the morning, or you just like going the simple route.
07:39 I love this.

07:41 or it's just not a good hair day,
07:43 then I got you, girl, just add a hat,
07:44 and you're totally styling.
