Mitsubishi Motors Europe has unveiled the second phase of its European launch plan for 2023 with the new COLT, after the presentation of the new generation of the ASX. Since its introduction in Europe in 1978, the COLT has sold more than 1.2 million units over six generations. The seventh generation of the new COLT, a model built on the CMF-B platform of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, will go on sale in October. The new COLT is a vehicle designed for urban adventurers who are looking for a vehicle that represents them and that adapts to their individual mobility needs.
The new COLT is the perfect ally for exploring the city, solid, with an intelligent design, a range of efficient engines -including an HEV- and a large number of technological innovations and customization possibilities.
The new COLT offers a dynamic and modern design both inside and out. Up front, LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) give it a unique light signature, conveying Mitsubishi Motors' Dynamic Shield design language. The lines of the hood fall gently, highlighting the iconic Mitsubishi three-diamond logo.
When the eye moves to the side of the new COLT, its proportions define it as a vehicle created to adapt to the urban environment: elegant, agile and ready to take on any journey.
These features are extended to the rear area, which integrates the COLT emblem and the brand name, as well as the spoiler and the lower protector, which finish off the design, emphasizing the dynamic and modern character of the vehicle.
The new COLT offers five attractive colors that make it difficult to choose: Onyx Black, Sunrise Red, Royal Blue and Volcanic Grey, metallic; and Arctic White, solid.
