00:17 -Thank you.
00:20 Hi! -Hello.
00:22 -Good to see you. How are you? -Good.
00:25 -Can I touch you? [ Laughs ]
00:27 -You took a huge risk high-fiving the kickers. -I know. I love that.
00:31 -Just walking in their path. -I had a good feeling.
00:33 I don't know. I felt like it was gonna be okay.
00:36 -You know, I've got to tell you, I love when you're on "SNL."
00:39 It's, like, some of my favorite work ever. -Really?
00:41 -Yes. Yes. -Thank you. I love it.
00:43 -I really think you're a genius. -Ah, thank you so much.
00:46 That's so -- Well, good. -You're one of the all-time greats.
00:48 -Good writing. -Oh, well, thank you.

00:50 -Thanks. -So you are currently shooting "Les Mis."
00:53 -Yes. Well, I wrapped a few -- -Oh, you wrapped?
00:56 -Months ago now, actually. -Oh, okay.
00:58 So -- But this is the short haircut.
01:00 -This is the hair for it, yeah. -And so what I'm obsessed with,
01:03 'cause we all know around here that whenever I trim my hair,
01:06 I cry for six weeks.
01:08 So when you cut all of your hair off, did you cry?
01:11 Were tears involved? -Yes and yes.
01:14 It makes me feel comforted.
01:16 You know, I wasn't expecting it to be such a big deal

01:22 -You know, it's something I've wanted to do for a long time,

01:39 I've jumped off of buildings, and cutting my hair
01:42 reduced me to, like, mental-patient-level crying.
01:45 Like, I was inconsolable.
01:47 And when we cut it -- -I feel you.
01:49 -We did the first part with an actress,
01:52 and she cut the front of my hair,
01:54 and then we had to take a 20-minute break
01:56 while my hair guy, Paul, had to put on her costume,
01:59 which was a dress.
02:02 And I just had to sit there for 20 minutes,
02:04 just, like, being half-bald, and that was pretty intense.
02:07 But it was all worth it, 'cause at the very end of the shot,
02:09 I turned around, and I saw Paul, beautiful Paul,
02:12 in the dress with his arms outstretched.
02:15 It was all you could ask for.
02:16 It was totally worth it just for that.
02:18 -You have an upcoming wedding.
02:21 -Yeah, well... -Whoa.

02:30 -Tech, I am engaged. -Okay.

02:41 I liked the idea of having a 2012 wedding.
02:44 It just had a nice ring to it, but it's so not happening.
02:46 -Right. -I mean, I figure I should probably know
02:48 if I was getting married this year by now.

03:06 -I can guarantee it. -I'm not spending that much money on it, but...

03:16 -I was at the dog run recently,
03:18 and some guy was taking photos of a woman's dog,
03:21 and then he introduced himself to me as a "phodographer."
03:24 -A "phodographer"?
03:25 -It's worth taking pictures of dogs just to be able to call yourself that.
