00:00 Hey guys! In this video I'm going to show you how to do this double waterfall twisted braid.
00:05 This hairstyle will work on medium to long hair and is perfect for school or play. So let's begin!
00:11 To get a smooth waterfall effect, brush your hair and make sure there aren't any knots.
00:16 Grab a small section of hair near the front of your face and divide it into two equal strands.
00:23 These two strands are going to be the main strands of this waterfall twist, so we're going to label the top one A and the bottom one B.
00:30 First, cross strand B over strand A.
00:34 Grab a small section of hair right next to the twist and we're going to call this the waterfall strand.
00:39 Place the waterfall strand in between strand A and strand B, then cross B over it, and cross strand A over strand B.
00:48 Keep the waterfall strand aside with your mouth.
00:51 Again, grab a small waterfall strand, place it in between strand A and strand B.
00:57 Cross B over the waterfall strand, then cross A over B and place the waterfall strand in your mouth.
01:06 So continue to work this braid towards the back of your head.
01:10 Take the waterfall strand and place it in between strand A and strand B.
01:16 Cross strand B over the waterfall strand and cross strand A over strand B.
01:21 Hold the waterfall strand in your mouth and repeat the same steps.
01:24 Basically, what we're doing here is we're taking strand A and strand B, which are the main strands, and we're twisting them around each new strand.
01:32 Now you can actually continue this braid all the way around your head, but I'm going to stop here and tie strand A and strand B with an elastic band.
01:45 To get the double waterfall twist effect, repeat the exact same steps below.
01:49 Grab a small section of hair near the front of your face and divide it into two equal strands again.
01:54 Just like the first, cross strand B over strand A, but this time take the first waterfall strand from the original braid and place it in between strand A and strand B.
02:04 Cross strand B over it, then cross strand A over strand B and place the waterfall strand in your mouth.
02:12 Then take the next waterfall strand, place it in between strand A and strand B, cross strand B over it, then cross strand A over strand B and place the waterfall strand in your mouth.
02:23 Once again, work your way towards the back of your head, but this time pick up all the original waterfall strands from the first braid.
02:37 When you're done, you can tie strand A and strand B together with an elastic band, or you can hold them up with a clip or a bobby pin.
02:44 Obviously I chose a flower clip.
02:46 Fix it up a bit and you're done!
02:49 So here's the finished look. This hairstyle can be dressed up or down, and you can even continue this braid all the way around your head and end it on the other side.
02:57 To turn this into a bohemian look, simply curl your hair and do the braids on both sides of your head.
03:02 Let me know which look you like best in the comments down below and I'll talk to you later. Ciao!
