00:00 While epilating move your epilator slowly.
00:04 Do not have to press it down too hard.
00:06 But move your epilator slowly so that the epilator can actually catch the hair from
00:09 the roots and pull it out properly instead of breaking it.
00:12 It does not break the hair too often.
00:15 I hardly saw any hair broken.
00:18 But moving the epilator slowly on your skin is definitely a better idea.
00:22 And here's my tip number 3 for all those of you who are beginners to epilating.
00:27 Moisturize your skin.
00:28 When I was reading out my instruction manual for this one, it said that you need to moisturize
00:32 your skin before and after epilating on a very regular basis.
00:35 I did not follow those rules.
00:37 And I did not even realize it.
00:39 So after a couple of days of using the epilator, I started realizing that my skin has suddenly
00:42 become too dry.
00:43 Which does not happen a lot with me.
00:45 So I was like, why is this happening?
00:47 And then I realized that I've just used this epilator and it came, it told me in the instruction
00:50 manual that I should actually moisturize my skin after using an epilator.
00:55 Which I hadn't cared to do.
00:57 So I started moisturizing my skin again and it's been absolutely wonderful.
01:02 So tip number 3 is keep moisturizing your skin on a regular basis.
01:06 A question that people seem to be asking a lot about epilator is whether it hurts more
01:12 than waxing or less than waxing.
01:14 Now I think it really just depends.
01:15 It varies from person to person.
01:17 For me, first of all, I'm someone who does not have a very sensitive skin.
01:21 So I'm very lucky that way.
01:23 I do not get that hurt even while waxing or threading or anything.
01:28 But for me, I think epilator did hurt a little bit less than waxing.
01:32 Not that waxing hurts me a lot, but epilator did hurt a little bit less.
01:36 So that was my experience and I just thought you guys should know about that.
01:41 And one more question that I see a lot of girls asking about epilators is that how long
01:44 does it take for the hair to grow back?
01:46 Now it really just depends on your own personal skin type, your hair growth speed and things
01:50 like that.
01:51 Hair grows in stages.
01:52 So your hair will start growing after a while, after about say, I think in my case, my hair
01:58 started growing back after about one and a half or two weeks.
02:01 And it's still in the growth stage, so other hair is coming up every now and then.
02:05 So I think it totally just depends on you, but it will be pretty much the same amount
02:09 of time that it takes after waxing because it's the same skin, it's the same hair.
