General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Sitaram Yechury slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Central government over the continued tense situation in the East-Indian state of Manipur.
“Over 100 people have died, and over 6000 people seeking shelter in relief camps. The double-engine BJP government is useless, they are not able to control the situation. This state government needs to be dismissed. PM Modi has not uttered even a single word about the situation and the Home Minister visits the state after 26 days. We want an all-party delegation to visit Manipur so people feel confident,” he said.
