00:00 [Sounds of a distant space]
00:02 I have finally completed a prototype that grants the ability to peek into the future.
00:15 The initial fixed progression of time can now be obscurely increased.
00:26 Something considered science fiction is finally reality.
00:30 What I see is still out of my control.
00:46 But I can predict lottery numbers, news headlines, where I will meet, the place, the time, down to the very last second.
00:54 [Sounds of a distant space]
00:56 For now, it will be disguised as an illusion.
01:08 [Sounds of a distant space]
01:10 I cannot think of a stronger way of finishing the show than this.
01:35 90% I think is very, very good.
01:37 The Ultimate CD Prediction Kit comes with everything you need to assemble your own Ultimate CD Prediction Unit.
01:43 It's a self-contained, self-working, portable illusion that allows you to predict anything, like a real psychic.
01:50 The best part about this illusion is that you don't need a fancy stage and big props to pull off this effect.
01:56 It works equally effective even for close-up settings.
01:59 Here is a casual close-up demonstration from Wizard Product Review.
02:04 You may remember on last week's show, we gave Matthew a prediction.
02:07 We did. It's like 24 now. We've got cliffhangers. It's bizarre.
02:12 Last week on the Wizard Product Review, we gave a prediction to Matthew. Now, what happens next?
02:17 Actually, the way we filmed the show, it was a bit over a week, wasn't it? It was about nine days ago now.
02:23 But he's had it in his office, locked away, and we haven't touched it.
02:27 No, not at all.
02:28 We wanted to recreate this, just like you could if you wanted to create this sort of prediction with this effect.
02:33 So, Matthew, are you ready?
02:35 Yes, I am.
02:36 He's got the envelope ready. Come on in, Matthew.
02:38 Come on in, Matthew.
02:39 Now, obviously, we do muck around and that, but we've done this under test conditions, haven't we?
02:45 Yes.
02:46 Come and sit down here. I think you're being shot there.
02:48 There you go.
02:49 You've had this, right? You've got no idea how this trick works?
02:53 No.
02:54 You don't know anything about the trick?
02:55 No.
02:56 All you know is we've given you that envelope.
02:57 Yes.
02:58 Where's that envelope been for the last nine days?
03:00 In my filing cabinet, locked away, so no one can touch it.
03:02 Nobody's touched that?
03:03 No.
03:04 Right, okay. Open it up, Matthew.
03:07 This is the first time. It's going to be crazy.
03:13 I'm excited. I really am.
03:15 This is something I recorded in the studio a while ago.
03:18 I haven't even really…
03:19 He hasn't even told us.
03:20 You've got a CD there. Is there anything else inside there?
03:23 No.
03:24 Nothing else at all? No funny moves, look. I'm going to put the CD into the CD player.
03:28 Okay.
03:29 Right, it's all switched on. It says it's got one track there.
03:33 There's a little light on the front. It says one track.
03:35 Hopefully we'll get this on the microphone.
03:37 Can you press play yourself, Matthew?
03:39 Anytime you like, you can pause it if you want to pause it, but you press play.
03:42 And…
03:45 Hi Matthew. It's over a week since we gave you this CD in a sealed envelope.
03:53 And even though you've had it in your possession all this time
03:57 and nobody's gone near this envelope or opened it or fiddled with it in any way,
04:02 we know that today you ordered a plain chicken sandwich from the sandwich van
04:09 and you ordered a picnic chocolate bar and you washed it down with a can of Coke.
04:18 A can of Coke?
04:19 Yeah.
04:20 Was it a picnic bar?
04:21 Was it a plain chicken sandwich?
04:23 Yeah, with nothing on it, no butter, nothing.
04:26 That's been in my filing cabinet.
04:29 And you can keep the disc as well?
04:31 Yeah, that's the thing. You can keep the disc. That is yours to keep.
04:34 It is burnt on there. That is yours to take away.
04:37 That's awesome.
04:39 That is actually quite good.
04:41 That is a real killer.
04:42 Sometimes people ask me why CD? Why not USB, iPod or other devices?
04:47 I believe in order for a prediction to be valid and truly impossible.
04:52 You would need a physical proof for the audience before you reveal the prediction.
04:57 First, visibility. It's a decent size that people can see even at a distance.
05:02 Second, cost effective. CD is very cost effective to produce, give away and even ship to people.
05:10 Third, deception. The size doesn't seem like something you can manipulate in front of the audience,
05:15 which you won't do anyway for this effect.
05:18 Everything is self-working. You don't even need to push buttons. The spectator does that for you.
05:23 It's the perfect way to close a mentalism show.
05:26 It's the perfect way to do an impossible prediction.
05:29 But think about that for a second. You give them a disc weeks ahead of time.
05:34 You post it to a client. They come with it on the day.
05:36 They put it in the CD player. They hit play.
05:39 Everyone hears the prediction and immediately they can keep that as a souvenir to take away with them.
05:45 It is really, really strong.
05:48 In this kit, for the very first time, you'll learn how to assemble the Ultimate CD Prediction Illusion yourself
05:54 for a fraction of its cost.
05:56 It comes with everything you need to put together the illusion.
05:59 You can even look for your preferred CD player model to assemble the unit.
06:03 With Ultimate CD Prediction, you can predict lottery numbers, news headlines, what people are wearing,
06:09 what people are thinking under your influences.
06:12 Anything can happen now because you have the ability to see the future.
06:16 And that's a very powerful skill.
06:19 For $49.95, you can get this beautiful Ultimate CD Prediction
06:29 in this kit, for the very first time.
06:34 In this kit, the very first time. Alright? The very first time.
06:38 With that, you'll actually learn the secret to assemble your own Ultimate CD Prediction right here.
06:45 The general guideline of being a cool kid is not to try. I'm not even trying.
06:50 Thank you for your support and congratulations on getting the Ultimate CD Prediction DIY Kit.
07:07 The News Headline Prediction has always been a kill-way effect in mentalism and magic.
07:13 Many top names use it to close their shows.
07:15 The Ultimate CD Prediction is a mini portable illusion that you can carry around,
07:20 travel with you, wherever you perform.
07:23 It could be performed in a close-up environment, parlor, to the biggest stage of the world.
07:29 The coolest part is everything happens inside of the unit itself.
07:33 It's self-working, angle-proof, you can focus 100% on your own presentation.
07:39 We want to give you the best tool as a miracle performer to further your reputation and career.
07:45 Now you can build your own Ultimate CD Prediction for a fraction of its price.
07:51 Have fun with it.
07:58 The secret to the Ultimate CD Prediction player is this.
08:03 It's a CD switcher in the CD player itself.
08:09 Once the CD goes into the player, the lid is closed,
08:12 spectator hits the play button, it plays a prepared disc inside the player.
08:17 Your spectator can now open the lid, take the CD home, it's as clean as that.
08:22 Everything self-working happens inside the unit itself,
08:26 so you can focus 100% on your presentation and showmanship.
08:30 We'll talk about how you can structure the routine and performance tips in later section of the DVD.
08:36 You get two pieces of specially manufactured industrial standard PVC sheets.
08:48 The first customized piece is specially made to work with the portable CD player model that we choose to produce our unit with.
08:55 If you like to work with our model, you can easily find one online.
08:59 If you like to use your preferred model, you can use the other raw piece to customize the shape and size according to the measurement of your preferred unit.
09:07 When you work on your own customization, the hardest part is to make the perfect hole for the CD players,
09:14 which we have already made a special die for that purpose and we made the raw piece with the hole already made for you.
09:21 These are not just magnets, these are Rare Earth Magnets Neo 45,
09:26 one of the strongest magnets with the highest stability in the world.
09:31 You can use any machine you want, but when you make a selection,
09:39 you have to ensure the lid itself has enough space for the CD swap to work.
09:44 And when it does, with the preloaded disc, the machine still has to function in play.
09:50 I'll demonstrate how to make it with our own model here.
09:53 You can easily Google it online and get it.
09:55 If you have other preference, you can find it on the market.
09:58 Let's make it.

17:35 When the prediction unit is built, a few things that's very important.
17:42 First, always put a disc in between the gimmick and the lid.
17:46 This reduces the chance of scratching the gimmick or pulling the magnets off.
17:50 The magnets are extremely strong when it comes to direct contact.
17:55 Every time when you're unloading the disc from the lid, do not peel on the edge of the gimmick.
18:01 Always poke your finger in and gently pull it off the lid, like this.
18:06 Follow the two general guidelines, you'll be able to use it for a long time.
18:12 Basically, with the prediction unit, any prediction effect is possible.
18:23 Now, I encourage you to try different ideas as the method is very flexible.
18:27 If you are unfamiliar with prediction effects, I'll take the most popular news headline prediction as an example and go through with you.
18:35 First, mail your VIP client a package a couple weeks before the show.
18:40 We'll call this disc number one.
18:42 And ask your client to sign the over the package across the seal and bring it to the show.
18:48 And make sure nobody touches in the process.
18:51 So on the day of the show, before the show starts, buy a set of newspaper.
18:56 Find out what headline is worth predicting, record it down on your computer and burn it out as a track.
19:02 Now, we'll call this disc number two.
19:04 Have disc number two set up in the unit in a machine like this.
19:07 Now, this will be your setup.
19:09 Keep the machine open until you perform the news headline prediction effect.
19:13 Now, if you perform this on stage, have everything set up behind the side wings.
19:18 And when this effect happens, have your assistants wheel out the entire unit for you.
19:23 If you are performing in a smaller venue, what you can do is put adhesive cloth over the unit.
19:28 This will prevent it from visually cueing your audience before the segment starts.
19:33 Recap what happened to the whole audience.
19:36 You have mailed the VIP client a package weeks before the show.
19:40 And this is the first time you see the package.
19:43 Have the VIP confirm all is true.
19:46 Open up the package.
19:48 In the package inside, there is a disc.
19:50 A disc you've recorded and sent it to her weeks before the show.
19:54 Put the disc in the portable CD player in a very clean manner.
19:58 Have the participant shut the lid.
20:01 The moment the lid is shut, the work is done.
20:04 Have the participant press play.
20:06 And you show the newspaper you purchased on day off to show that you were able to peek into the future,
20:13 seeing things even before it happened.
20:16 It's as simple as that.
20:18 The unit does everything in the performance for you.
20:21 All you have to do is to prepare the content of your prediction.
20:25 In case if you are not familiar with the disc burning process,
20:28 I recommend a quick search on the internet.
20:31 It will get you plenty of step-by-step instructions.
20:34 What to predict?
20:40 You can do Super Bowl.
20:42 Lottery numbers, World Cup.
20:44 It's a great publicity stunt and a reputation maker.
20:48 After you have your disc ready to be mailed to your client,
20:56 if you wanted to add a little bit of the convincer,
20:59 you can have a date, a little bit of your signature and other information.
21:05 For example, to this person, label on the disc.
21:09 And what you can do is you can duplicate that on a different disc like that.
21:14 So this one is the one you'll mail to the client,
21:16 and this one is the one that you'll be preparing the prediction content onto on the day of the show.
21:22 So when the two discs are swapped inside of the unit in the show,
21:26 it's this extra detail that makes it really convincing.
21:29 I honestly think this is actually the most crucial section of the DVD,
21:34 what not to predict.
21:36 I learned this the hard way.
21:37 Don't ever make predictions related to criminal activities.
21:41 You never know when people are taking your show too seriously.
21:44 And it's a painful process and certainly not worth your time to deal with the police officers
21:50 for a prediction you made in a show.
21:53 Very quickly, on the side note, before you mail this empty disc out to your client in a package,
21:58 I would recommend not mailing a blank disc.
22:02 I would put a message like this saying,
22:05 "Oh, hey, I know it's very hard to keep a secret. Give me a call."
22:09 So that way when they prematurely open the disc
22:14 and they can't wait to find out what the content is, they're like, "Boom, you caught me."
22:18 So they would give you a call and you would know beforehand, before the show,
22:22 that this has been pre-opened.
22:24 So you can do something else or, you know, "I knew you couldn't keep a secret.
22:27 I'm going to mail you one more time."
22:29 This time, make sure nobody ever touches it and open or listen to the content.
22:33 That way you know it for a fact before the show.
22:39 So you don't encounter anything unexpected in the show.
22:43 Here's my bread and butter that I think many viewers will skip and miss in the DVD.
22:55 When I perform in a fundraising event,
22:57 my prediction at the end of the night will always be $1,000 off.
23:03 Just when people think, "Oh, did he screw up?"
23:05 I immediately pull out a check, write $1,000 and put it in the box.
23:09 This puts me on the same line with my audience.
23:12 Instead of somebody working, I'm someone much bigger and contributing to the event.
23:17 And people would think, "Oh, if this guy's doing it, hey, why not?"
23:20 And this encourages people to donate in a more active way.
23:25 And this is why you're there.
23:27 Always know why people hire you to entertain in the first place.
23:31 I can tell you how many times I was rebooked after the show for other shows.
23:35 If you think about it, it makes no difference to me.
23:38 I can write it off my tax.
23:40 But knowing I can contribute as an entertainer to the society
23:44 and all the extra shows I get booked for, it is incredible.
23:48 It doesn't have to be $1,000.
23:50 It could be anything within your paycheck that you're comfortable with.
23:54 And you can write it off your tax, too.
23:56 Try it. You'll be amazed how this little action will help you in the long run.
24:01 That's it. I've done this all around the world,
24:03 from theater events to even party situations.
24:06 I hope you have as much fun as I have with the Ultimate CD Prediction.
24:11 My name's Lo Sai. I'll see you next time.
