It’s finally here: The 2023 Toyota Zenix has made its Philippine debut, ready to replicate the success of the turbodiesel Innova that will continue to be its stablemate in the local lineup for the time being. Don’t think of it as an Innova replacement, though—the Zenix, whether in gasoline V form (P1,670,000) or the hybrid Q variant (P1,953,000), is markedly different from Innova, and in this first drive, we’ll tell you how it’s a distinct model from the much-loved Toyota MPV.
