Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a press conference in Chandigarh on July 6 over the pension for unmarried people in the age group 45 to 60 years. He announced that a monthly pension of Rs 2,750 will be provided to unmarried people between 45 to 60 years of age whose annual income is less than Rs 1.8 lakh. He also added that the beneficiaries will automatically start getting the old age pension on attaining the age of 60 years.
“Unmarried people in the age group of 45 to 60 years will now get a monthly pension of Rs 2,750 provided their annual income is less than Rs 1.8 lakh. This was the demand of many for a long. The widower will also be included in this. Once these beneficiaries attain the age of 60 years, they will automatically start getting the old age pension,” said Manohar Lal Khattar.
