Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the Indian community in Paris on July 13, discussed his deep and enduring bond with France that has lasted for over four decades. During a gathering at La Seine Musicale in Paris, PM Modi expressed his fondness for France and acknowledged his longstanding connection with the country. He shared the story of the establishment of Alliance Française in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, nearly 40 years ago and proudly mentioned that he was the first member of the cultural center in India.
Currently, PM Modi is in France for a two-day visit, where he has been invited as a Guest of Honour by French President Emmanuel Macron to participate in the Bastille Day celebrations on July 14.
