00:00 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:01 - Oh, my god.
00:03 We're in the Mushroom Kingdom.
00:04 Come on, Mario.
00:05 - I love the Mushroom Kingdom.
00:07 The Mushroom Kingdom set was one of my favorite ones to design.
00:10 - Mushroom Kingdom was decided upon from the very start.
00:13 - The Mushroom Kingdom is an absolutely iconic thing
00:17 in the games.
00:18 - This way, Mario.
00:19 - We wanted to give it as much scale as possible.
00:24 - With the Mushroom Kingdom, we wanted to honor everything
00:27 we've seen in the video games--
00:28 - Hello.
00:29 - --while also giving you an experience that you've never
00:31 had in the video games.
00:32 - Whoa.
00:33 - Whoa.
00:33 - Woo!
00:34 - Peach's castle's there.
00:35 - I would want to go to the Mushroom Kingdom.
00:37 I would just pop in a pipe and--
00:38 [POPPING]
00:39 --and just go right over there.
00:40 - Love these pipes.
00:41 [ROARING]
00:42 - Ah!
00:42 [SQUEAKING]
00:44 - Traveling up pipes vertically.
00:46 - Ah!
00:46 - Ah!
00:47 - There's floating bricks.
00:48 - Jumping over platforms, all the stuff
00:49 that's classic to Mario.
00:50 - Hold it right there, you two.
00:53 - There's toads.
00:54 - We're adorable.
00:55 - Even walking through Toad Town,
00:56 we've never really experienced that area as a place
01:01 where characters live and do business.
01:04 - It turned out to be a good opportunity to really think
01:06 about their culture.
01:07 - Everywhere you see, you have something to look at.
01:10 - That was really important, to make
01:11 it feel like it's an actual world that characters inhabit.
