00:06 On Tuesday, the singer-songwriter tweeted about the new track, which includes lyrics like,

00:14 Well, that bleep might fly in the city, good luck. Try that in a small town."

00:18 In her tweet, Crow tagged Aldean and wrote, "I'm from a small town. Even people in small towns are sick of violence."

00:24 She continued, "There's nothing small town or American about promoting violence.

00:28 You should know that better than anyone, having survived a mass shooting.

00:32 This is not American or small town-like. It's just lame."

00:35 Aldean was on stage during the mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert in 2017 that killed 60 people and wounded over 400.

00:43 The new track has received widespread backlash since its July 14th release,

00:48 with Crow's comments joining those of outraged social media users who have accused Aldean of being pro-gun,
