First flight to Fiji and the return of international flights to Canberra.

00:00 It's actually real excitement to have international flights back in our national capital and back

00:07 in our airport. We've got a truly beautiful international terminal lounge and to have

00:17 it being used again, to be staffed by Border Force and to see passengers coming in, it's

00:23 really, really exciting.

00:24 But you know, I walked over from the office, I walked in and I happened to be walking in

00:28 with someone and I just said, "Oh, where are you going to?" And she said, "I'm going to

00:33 Fiji." And I went, "Oh, that is just so cool." That little bit of excitement and in four

00:38 hours time, everyone on this plane will be landing in Fiji. That's why we're so grateful

00:44 for this partnership with Fiji Airways. And we've seen it before when Singapore Airlines

00:50 started their route. Immediately Qatar announced their services. So we'll see what the next

00:56 few months bring, but I hope that we have further good news between now and Christmas.
