00:00 and welcome back to downtown Rotherham. I'm Sports Editor Nick Wesby here with an inside look
00:04 in the Yorkshire Post Sports Weekend supplement. I should really have done this yesterday when I was
00:08 at Hoyer Lake for the Open but allegations are rife that I was too busy spending all my money in
00:14 the media catering facilities and to be honest that's guilty as charged. So let's have a look
00:18 inside the Yorkshire Post Sports Weekend. We'll start with cricket, two huge games going on,
00:23 England versus Australia. Can they wrap it up in three days or will we go into a fourth day?
00:28 Similarly with Yorkshire against Sussex in the county championship, they're looking to wrap it
00:32 up on Friday as well. Moving on into golf, we're going to have a look at day two of the Open at
00:38 Hoyer Lake. We hear from Danny Willett on his form and where he's at in the world of golf at the
00:43 minute and we hear from Jordan Spieth, one of the contenders to look out for over the coming weekend
00:48 at Royal Liverpool. Football wise it's the Women's World Cup. We're taking a deep dive into the
00:54 journey of Millie Bright from Killamarsh Dynamos via Doncaster Rovers' bells to the England
00:59 captaincy as the Lionesses kick off their tournament in Australia on Saturday morning.
01:05 We're also going to hear from Hull City manager Liam Rossini and a host of Barnsley players as
01:09 they get acclimatised to life under Neil Collins. Our big Saturday interview is one of the rising
01:15 stars of the Yorkshire racing scene, Julie Camacho, the trainer of Shaquille who is having
01:21 a wonderful season. We've also got Rugby League as Hull KR bid for a place in the Challenge Cup
01:27 final. They play Wigan Warriors at Headingley in the semi-final on Sunday night. Plus Halifax,
01:33 Batley, York, York City Knights ladies and Leeds Rhinos ladies are also in semi-finals this weekend.
01:39 And we'll have news from the rest of the world of sport with two big signings
01:43 for Sheffield Sharks in basketball and Leeds Rhinos in netball. Have a fantastic sporting weekend.
