Tony Bennett , the legendary interpreter of Great American Songbook, has died. He was 96 years old. Leigh-Anne stopped by Billboard News to chat about her first solo single "Don't Say Love", a possible reunion with Little Mix And more!

01:12 has died at the age of 96.

01:19 Tony Bennett's list of amazing achievements
01:21 include 20 Grammys, 23 Hot 100 hits,
01:24 and 44 Billboard 200 albums.
01:28 Tony began performing in nightclubs in 1946
01:30 and would continue to perform to packed crowds
01:33 all the way up to 2021 at Radio City Music Hall
01:36 as a celebration of his 95th birthday,
01:39 even in spite of an Alzheimer's diagnosis in 2016.
01:42 ♪ She likes the free, fresh wind in her hair ♪
01:47 His last performance was with one of his most
01:50 well-known collaborators, Lady Gaga.
01:52 The pair released two albums together,
01:54 both of which took home Grammys.

02:00 Tony collaborated with some of the biggest names in music.
02:05 In addition to Gaga, Tony worked with Stevie Wonder,

02:58 your introduction to the public as a solo artist.
03:01 - So, yeah, Don't Say Love came in
03:03 at the beginning of the process.
03:06 Always knew it was a banger.
03:07 It kind of became obvious quite quickly
03:09 that it needed to be the first single,
03:11 and especially with the meaning of it,
03:14 the idea of wanting to be loved wholeheartedly,
03:16 and like at 100%, I think it was very relatable to me,
03:21 and I just thought, you know what,
03:23 yeah, this needs to be the first one.
03:25 - And that's such a relatable subject in general,
03:27 I think that touches people,
03:28 so how's your fan reaction been to the single?
03:30 - It's been incredible.
03:32 It's been better than I could have imagined.
03:34 Just seeing people doing their videos and singing to it,
03:39 seeing how happy it's making people,
03:41 that's what it's all about.
03:42 So, yeah, it's been really good.
03:44 - And I mean, you have a whole new stage
03:48 of your life that you're in now, so mom, twins.
03:51 So, okay, walk me through juggling
03:55 launching a solo career, but also being a mom.
03:58 - I don't really know how I'm doing it, to be honest.
04:01 - Sounds wild to me.
04:03 - I don't know, I just feel like I'm taking it day by day,
04:07 because it's the hardest thing I've ever done.
04:09 Like, I hate leaving them, I hate it.
04:12 But at the same time, I love this, I love what I do.
04:15 And there's no reason why I can't have a successful career
04:18 and be an amazing mom.
04:20 I mean, I'm freaking proud of myself, though,
04:22 for how I'm doing it.
04:23 And they actually love music, and they're always dancing.
04:27 My second single they sing along to is "Zach Ye."
04:30 - Oh my God.
04:31 You need to have them tease it.
04:33 That needs to be, that is the plan.
