00:00 Military build up on the border, Poland moves troops and tanks towards Belarus as Wagner
00:06 mercenaries train the Belarusian army.
00:10 The campaigning ends in Spain`s election with the polls predicting an historic swing to
00:15 the right on Sunday.
00:20 The legendary American crooner Tony Bennett, who worked with singers as diverse as Frank
00:25 Sinatra and Lady Gaga has died.
00:32 A long line of Polish tanks lined up and ready for deployment to Poland`s border with Belarus.
00:38 Since Wagner`s mercenaries have been exiled to Belarus, the Polish government says there`s
00:43 now a bigger threat on NATO`s eastern flank.
00:47 "The group of Wagner, which is becoming more numerous in Belarus, is a growing threat
00:59 for Poland, for NATO`s eastern flank."
01:04 Meanwhile Belarus has been holding joint exercises with the Wagner mercenaries near Brest, a
01:10 city on the Polish border.
01:12 Belarus`s government says the exiled mercenaries are training its army.
01:19 "As for Belarus, it`s a part of the Union State.
01:23 And unleashing aggression against Belarus will mean aggression against the Russian
01:28 Federation.
01:29 We will respond to this with all the means we have."
01:34 A Wagner commander has said in a statement that about 10,000 fighters are set to deploy
01:39 to Belarus.
01:40 And Poland has now deployed some of its soldiers closer to the border.
01:49 If the polls are correct, Pedro Sanchez will be forced out of power in Sunday`s election.
01:54 His chances depend on mobilizing his demoralized left-wing supporters.
01:58 And in the last speech of his campaign, he stressed how Spain was before he became prime
02:03 minister.
02:04 "There was a government with a party condemned by irregular financing, and that used the
02:13 good name of the security forces and bodies of the state to create paramilitary structures,
02:19 obstruct the judicial investigations and persecute its political adversaries."
02:25 The polls are predicting a government led by the conservative Popular Party.
02:29 Its leader, Alberto Nunes-Feijoo, may have to form a coalition with the far-right Vox
02:34 Party.
02:35 "You know what to expect from me.
02:44 Less tension and more moderation.
02:48 Less personalism and more general interest.
02:51 Less division and more unity.
02:53 And less me, me, me, me and more us, us, us.
02:59 That`s all."
03:00 Santiago Abascal`s Vox Party has lost a bit of steam in the last few days of campaigning,
03:06 but it still aspires to enter a coalition with the Popular Party.
03:09 It would be the first time since the death of Franco in 1975 that the far-right has been
03:15 in government in Spain.
03:16 And it`s a possibility that scares the left in general and the far-left in particular,
03:21 which is led by the charismatic Yolanda Diaz.
03:25 She sets up her SUMA coalition in the hope that alongside Sanchez`s Socialist Party,
03:30 it will be enough to keep the left in power.
03:33 But what`s more likely on Sunday is a big swing to the right.
03:44 Dozens of cancellations of easy jet flights in Portugal following the start of a new strike
03:49 by the low-cost airlines cabin crew.
03:52 They are demanding wages and conditions comparable to those at bases in other countries.
03:58 The company presented a proposal that was rejected by 90 percent of the members of the
04:02 National Fly Crew Union.
04:06 The strike is scheduled to last five days.
04:08 And it`s the third protest to shake the Portuguese division in recent months.
04:18 He was the eminent and timeless stylist devoted to classic American songs.
04:23 And he had a knack of creating new standards with tunes such as "I Left My Heart in San
04:27 Francisco."
04:28 Tony Bennett graced a decades-long career that brought him admirers from as far back
04:33 as France Sinatra to as recently as Lady Gaga.
04:41 "I left my heart in San Francisco."
